My husband and I booked a one-night stay at this Courtyard hotel near CVG on Christmas Eve, and we had no complaints! We checked into our room around 11 PM, and received great customer service from Bridget. Our room was clean, and this was a decent place to stay before our early flight the next morning. You just can't beat the location - it's less than 10 minutes to the main airport terminal. The main reason we selected this hotel was their "Park Here, Fly There" program. For less than $200, we spent the night before our flight, and then registered our car and left it parked for up to seven days at the hotel. After the room rate, the parking comes out to around $10/day, which is so much cheaper than many of the other options nearby. They even have a FREE shuttle to the airport that leaves every 30 minutes. It operates 24/7, 365 days a year, and I can confirm that because we used this service on Christmas morning! The shuttle will even pick you up from the airport and bring you back to the hotel when you land on your return flight - though we ended up just taking an Uber because we didn't want to wait in the cold. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a convenient place to stay before a flight with ample and inexpensive parking! We'd definitely book this package again the next time we fly out of CVG. read more

My company normally uses Marriott brand hotels for our business travel so I stayed at this Courtyard near the airport (CVG) on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River. It is one exit away from the airport off I-275 or you can take a backroad over to the hotel. It is a newer property with a very sleek lobby featuring the updated bistro format. The room itself was well appointed with a large walk-in shower, spacious work desk, refrigerator, microwave, and nightstands with built-in power sockets for both 110V and USB cords-a nice touch. The room was immaculate and offered a quiet experience despite being over the lobby. Recommended. read more

My husband and I had to fly to Ohio for a funeral. We wanted to stay close to the airport and we prefer Marriott hotels as my husband is a platinum member. The hotel was very close to the airport and they have a shuttle to the airport which I believe runs 24 hours but please verify that with the hotel. Our room was clean and well appointed. All staff we encountered were friendly. We only spent one night, and pretty much just used it to sleep, but it was a fine stay for what we needed it for. Only negative, it was in kind of an industrial area and there weren't too many restaurants close to it. read more

We stayed here twice as we visited family in Indian. The location, hotel, and staff were great. Simple to get to, eateries close, freeway access and long term parking. Minor issues with the room. Housekeeping left dirty items in the room, items from the previous guest were in the fridge, and the room had some broken items. I was too tired and cold to ask for another room. We wiped the room down with our own travel supplies. But did mention it to the desk when we checked out. They were receptive. It happens. I get it. We did opt to come back so it wasn't a huge game breaker for us. read more

I really don't understand the negative reviews about this hotel. Besides getting on the wrong hotel shuttle (I went on the Marriott Cincinnati Airport Hotel shuttle) this hotel is great. My room looked like it was recently updated and it was clean. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Only downside to this hotel is that it's not located walking distance to any restaurants. Ride shares are available and everything cost about $10 each way to restaurants. There is a gas station across the street that has food items. If you are looking for a clean and quiet place to stay for a short period this is it. read more

Stayed here one night on my way to North Carolina. Overall it was a nice stay. The room was clean, the staff was friendly. The main reason I booked here over others was because of the included EV Charger. I came with a Rivian R1T and used a Tesla adapter to get the higher speed charge. (Tesla plugs are 48 amp while j1772 are 32 amp) The only reason it's not 5 stars is because I had an issue with my door. It would not open initially, and I was instructed to pull on the door as I unlocked it to make it open. While this trick worked, the doors shouldn't have a secret method to getting them open. Was surprised when I pulled up because I meant to book us at full service Marriott at the next exit for that odarkthirty flight. That's our usual, but I booked here instead (luckily I used GPS or we would have been scratching our head while trying to check in elsewhere. So I was a little put off. But I went in to see if they had an airport shuttle (they did) and we could leave our car there. Still...I wanted what I wanted, so I would probably check with the other Marriott because we had friends coming for dinner and there was not a restaurant here. Well damn...there was. Now if I was working the desk, I would have told my grumpy self to have a nice life, and I would get back to work. They were so nice, and assured me we would enjoy ourselves and they really wanted us to stay. So I went outside to discuss with Bob, without committing to our reservation. That there was a bar and we were already there was the tipping factor. So I went back and registered. Then I asked them for 4 wine glasses and they complied. And they gave us free appetizers for ourselves and our friends. Nice. And they thanked me for staying. Room was comfortable and had a balcony. Extra points for balcony. And dinner was PDG. That was a surprise. Shuttle was perfect, and all ended well. I would stay here again.That says it all. Kudos to the front desk personnel. read more

People are nice. BUT and this is critical, the bed sheets were dirty! I was nauseous after pulling down sheets in second bed to find hair, skin and dirt. Pillows were soiled and clearly dirty as well. I have pictures. The other bed was clean (I think). It was so late I decided to stay but one and done. DO NOT Stay at this hotel! From the moment we got here we were greeted by Wanda at the front desk who was wonderful and hospitable. Then we went into the bar area to grab something to eat and drink and we were greeted by the amazing Mindy. I haven't seen Wanda since, but I have had the pleasure of seeing Mindy every day. She is here from sun up to sundown seems like., But she always manages to be funny and warm. Please hold onto these ladies--they are amazing. Also, Ros did a beautiful job of keeping our room clean. We were here for a wedding and stayed three nights and most definitely will come back and recommend this place to others. read more

Stayed here one evening - as my work colleague had selected this hotel, so I copied his itinerary. Not a terrible Courtyard, but it needs some major renovations: - Rooms still have analog style HVAC controls. Very hard to get the temperature exactly where you want it; - The beds are to soft and mushy. I need a firm mattress - otherwise my back hurts the next day; - I had to call the front desk to have someone come up and inspect the table lamp on the desk in my room. It was making this annoying arcing/flickering sound when anything disturbed the desk, or even when I was typing on my MacBook Pro. A maintenance engineer came up in short order and disassembled the lamp shade mechanism to get at the bulbs - turns out the bulbs had not been securely and completely screwed in. I could have fixed that myself - but the lamp shades are a bit of a puzzle as to how to get them off the lamp. Staff was friendly and professional. #CourtyardCincinnatiAirport read more

Stayed here our one night in Cincinnati during a cross country road trip and would absolutely stay here again, about 25 Minutes from downtown not too far and lots of chain (open late night) restaurants basically in the parking lot. I'd give place 5 stars all day long except for: - beds - breakfast The beds weren't great, but weren't horrible. For as nice as the hotel is, I expected better. A hot breakfast would have been great. Even a continental breakfast would have been adequate. All they had was a café storefront that served Starbuck's and other overpriced items. BUT, with all that said, this place was GREAT! We rolled in later in the evening needing a room after a day on the road. At the front desk, Drew took great care of my family. He gave us options for a room and got us a nice rate. Dealing with Drew made our night easy - his customer service and personal touch were above and beyond. The room was clean, large and comfortable. Note - CLEAN! The hotel, in general, was impeccable. Kudos to the staff that keep the place in order. Our stay was peaceful. Being near the airport, it wasn't loud or chaotic. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. read more

Stayed here just one night, and really enjoyed the room, but the customer service and human interactions were lackluster. The room was snazzy and updated - definitely made up for the shabby lobby/entrance area. I loved the decor and it was a great size with the king bed. I was able to stop at the restaurant the night I checked in and the food was okay. Not perfect, not what dreams are made of, but also did not break the bank, so it was okay. The staff that worked there really seemed miserable, and would talk amongst themselves while people waited on them for services, which to me is a complete deal breaker. It seemed like every time I tried to get anyone's attention, the line to use was "they're on a smoke break." They take a lot of breaks, apparently. I was frustrated with myself when I went downstairs the next morning at 10am to find that breakfast stopped being served at 9:30am. It was a bummer, but my fault for not doing the math earlier. This is a very nicely updated hotel in the area and close to the airport. There is a shuttle that takes you from the airport to the hotel and vice versa. The hotel rooms are updated and so is the lobby. It was really nice that I got upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi tub as well! No complaints here at this hotel! I would stay here again. read more

Horrible. No hot water. Heating system sounded like it was ready to fall off wall. There was a conference room next to my room and a meeting started in there around 8:00 am. I could hear every word they were saying. Odd smell, almost like cigarette smoke. Complaints to front desk was useless. read more

I cannot say enough about the service I experienced while staying at this hotel. They have been more than accommodating especially seeing as it was a busy Friday night going into a holiday weekend. My flight home was canceled, as were many others that evening & unfortunately the next flight I was able to get on isn't until today, Saturday, at 6pm. The staff here was able to book me a room at the last minute, while many other hotels in the area didn't even have availability. (i'm writing this review as I watch the South Park Yelper's episode.) Staying here for two weeks for business. The hotel itself is wonderful. The rooms are clean and modern, well appointed, and are very comfortable. The televisions are nice and they are connected to dish network. I've had no problems with the Wi-Fi. The restaurant downstairs is decent, however it's not great. I found the burgers to be dry and not appealing. The shrimp potstickers, however, were great. Can't say the same about the hot wings. The staff is mostly friendly. The fitness center is wanting, two treadmills, one bike, and a set of dumbbells. Small pool. Biggest downfall to the hotel is the location. It really is in the middle of nowhere next to the airport. It is next-door to a gas station, Subway, a burrito shop, and a chicken finger shack. That's it. Nothing else to walk too. All in all, a good hotel. read more

Stayed for Memorial Day weekend and just booked for 4th of July weekend. Every staff member we came into contact with were amazing and helpful. Room was clean and the pool/jacuzzi area was nice. One of the things I tend to look for when staying at a hotel is the surroundings and the review you give them. If the best hotel has the worst surroundings it can immediately drop down the ladder of what you would deem Great. The surroundings at the courtyard are very siren and quiet. If you are looking for restaurants or stores the only site I've seen in walking distance is the japanese restaurant up the street. The hotel inside is nice but seems almost bland. read more

My sister in law and I love to come to concerts here, and it's a great place. They don't serve a free breakfast, but good otherwise. This place is overrated. First of all their little store ,they want 8 $ for a sandwich,instead there's a subway across the street and get a five dollars sub. This hotel is very nice and might deserve 4 stars except for a few things. Let's start with the good. We stayed here while attending a convention in downtown Cincinnati. We saved a ton of money and it was only a 15 minute drive to the convention center. The hotel is also very close to the airport-- another plus. The area is peaceful and quiet, no annoying traffic noise. And even though we were so close to the airport, we didn't even hear any air traffic. The bed was comfortable and the pool and hot tub were in good shape. The room itself was a little dated, but not bad. But here are my major complaints: the heater was LOUD. I mean, every time it started it woke us up, sounding like it was going to shake itself off the wall. The first morning we complained to the front desk, but when we returned that evening, we had a message from maintenance that they couldn't find anything wrong. Secondly were the pillows. Why can't hotels start offering pillows that give a little support? They were so darn soft you felt like your head sank right through to the mattress. Adding a second was worse, because then it was so deep you couldn't get comfortable and they slid against each other like they were trying to escape. Fix those couple things and do a couple minor tile repairs in the pool room and you would have a four star rating for sure. read more

This hotel is bad, we were in town for a wedding and stayed two days. The ac didn't work well , it was hot in our room and it is March. Had the AC ON 65 and still couldn't sleep due to the hot humid room. The housekeeping is a joke they took the trash out but didn't even restock toilet paper or give clean glasses. I am not typically a Marriott customer and this solidified it. Will never stay at a Marriott again. I will stick with Holiday inn or la-Quinta ... don't stay here read more

Terrible! Do not stay here. They will over charge you! Made reservation over the phone! Noticed they had charged my card a week before our check-in date. When we checked in the lady at the front desk asked for my card. At that time I told her I had already been charged. She said she could see I had paid in advance but she had to swipe my card for incidentals! When we checked out the next day they charged me again! When I called I was hung up on twice when I asked to speak to a manager. My husband then called and spoke with a representative who said they had to start a case! I was told I couldn't speak to a manager until a "case was started"! After 20 min on the phone I finally got to speak to someone who then said she had to put me on hold again. After 30 min on the phone I was told I would be contacted by the hotel manager who was not in today! This is a nightmare! Save yourself some time and money and stay somewhere else. We had a great room at the Springhill Suites while attending our son's UC orientation. On our last night, the hotel lost power and we had to relocate. The Springhill manager called this hotel on his cell phone and requested a room. A room was available and we requested it be held for 30 minutes or so while we drove over. We did not receive a confirmation number and it was our understanding that, if power was restored, we would not need to relocate. We piled in the rental car, plugged Courtyard Airport (the only info we were given) into the GPS and drove south. When we arrived at the Courtyard, we learned there was more than one Courtyard near the airport. Since it was late, the hotel staff offered us a room, which we accepted, provided they were able to square things with the other Courtyard hotel. They called the Erlanger location and were advised it was taken care of ... so we checked in. We were quite surprised to see a room charge from both Courtyards on our Visa. When we initially contacted them to resolve the billing error, we were advised they did nothing wrong and we needed to pay the bill for a room we did not use. Marriot customer service advised us to dispute the billing on our credit card, which we did (twice unsuccessfully). A BBB complaint has been filed and remains unresolved. It's important to note this isn't about the money ... it's about being treated fairly and with respect. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend staying at this hotel. read more

Very poor front desk help. Platinum member - no water offered, could not seem to make them understand we wanted away from elevators and we are two rooms from it and couldn't get it changed. And no, we did not check in early and yes we had a reservation and yes we've stayed at this hotel several times before for business. So sad. I wish I could post a pic of our room. Nice room. Decent lobby. The WiFi is spotty at best especially when you pay $4.95 for it. I'm also not a fan of walking into a lobby and seeing Fox News blasting on all of the TVs. The closeness of the airport was great. The pool should have been heated as it was freezing. All of the guests were complaining about the pool. When we are traveling we always choose a hotel with a pool for our kids. It is very disappointing when the pool is unusable. I was also disappointed with the cost of the room that breakfast is not included. The cafe/diner is a rip off in the hotel. I wish courtyards would change this in their business model. If breakfast was included and the pool was usable we would not have checked out 3 days early. read more

I really wish I could give this place a negative star rating. In fact, I'd give it negative five stars. This experience was so bad that I am actually writing a letter to the Marriott home office with the complete details in order for them to understand how truly bad it was. My husband and I had made a guaranteed reservation for a late night arrival since we were driving in from Texas that day. We even called from the road to notify them that we would be arriving slightly later than expected, at which time we were told that the room would be held until 3 a.m. When we arrived, the attendant at the front desk told us he only had 2 king rooms left. Not only did he not apologize, he accused us of failing to provide the specification of a quiet room on the top floor. We were too tired to show him our on-line reservation confirmation and agreed to take the room on the 3rd floor. While the hotel is non-smoking, the hallway reeked of cigarettes. When we hurried to our room to escape the smell, we discovered the air there was only slightly less offensive. I immediately called the front desk, who confirmed the place is non-smoking, but only said he'd "call security" before grudgingly offering to move us to another room. As we looked around the tiny, worn-out room we decided there was no way we wanted to stay there. Then, or ever again. Save yourselves. Find someplace else. read more
