Despite the mixed reviews, my recent stay there was excellent. The room was clean. The front desk person (Liz) was very nice. No concerns regarding cleanliness, politeness, or safety. If you're staying in the area, this is a hotel worth considering. Will stay here again.

FACT: We are the World's Worst Campers!!! We decided to break off from our Boy Scout Troop and spend our overnight at a local motel rather than under the stars. What can I say, we don't have much need of camping gear considering our ideal vacation involves a beach or a cruise ship! Besides, the last time we attempted a weekend camping in the mountains, my back wouldn't forgive me for a month. Quality Inn was one of only a handful of options, but we were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. We travel lots and love a good deal, but value cleanliness even more. These guys did a great job on both. They offered us a GREAT AAA rate and best of all, hot breakfast is included (I told you we are the worst campers ever)!!! Room was clean and smelled FRESH (love that), beds were comfy, and all the room amenities were operational and in good repair. NO PROBLEMS whatsoever with a/c temperatures, shower, hot water, microwave, or critters. If I were guessing, I would say they recently updated the carpet, walls, mattresses and linens in the rooms. Furniture style was about what you would expect in a budget motel, but overall it was a good value and pleasant experience for a last minute overnight stay. I would highly recommend it for others like us who clearly don't understand the concept of camping or anyone passing through needing a good rest. Breakfast was edible and a better selection than I expected. Make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, sausage patties, cereals, yogurts, fruit, bagels, danishes, raisin bread toast, orange or apple juice and coffee. Thinking about how fortunate I am as a American to even have this option helped me not complain about the taste of the hot foods, along with salt, pepper and a little jam. For a budget motel, these guys do a great job. Checkout was easy and Justin (the manager) was extremely pleasant as he spoke with a noticeable Southern twang. Clean well kept rooms, great price, free breakfast... what more could you ask for!!!

We booked a date ahead of time that turned out to be right after the late January ice storm. The inn called to confirm our visit or to offer a refund with no penalty. "We are comIng" and so they were ready. We were the only guest, however, which was great, because we had the run of the place, but odd because from 9PM until 5;00 AM or thereabouts we were the only people in the inn. But happy hour went on nevertheless, beforehand, and dinner was cathead biscuits, local pecan encrusted pan seared trout, and other local delicacies. We felt so special! Our room was very nice, however, if you happen to be here during or after an ice storm, don't get a room adjacent to the main road. The power company did a great job clearing roads and restoring lines and such, but they get an early start and are big and loud rolling down the main cross street at very early AM times, and we are early risers. Just saying, a very, very lovely stay, but get a back room if an ice storm has just rolled through. Definitely will return!

We checked out early because mattress was so uncomfortable in "Holly". When this was brought up to management the general manager Jenna said "I have slept in that bed before and it was fine" - not the most professional response. Sorry won't return and I cannot recommend.

I would strongly recommend choosing another hotel for the health and safety of anyone considering a stay here. * Upon entering our room I could not tell if the beds were remade with new sheets after the last guests or if the same old sheets from someone else were left on them. If they were new, the person who made the bed didn't take pride in making the bed because there was nothing clean or crisp looking about it. It looked like someone had been laying on both beds and the pillowcases were all wrinkly. What was the worst was none of the pillows had protectors or another pillowcase underneath so you could see all the stains from previous use. You better hope that your pillow case didn't shift in the middle of the night and your face or mouth ended up on the actual pillow underneath. * It doesn't look like new towels were put in the bathroom. If they did, their presentation was poor as it looked like one of the towels were bunched up liked someone just stuffed it back up there without trying to make it look like it was not used. * The towels were rough and stained. I was super disgusted when I got out of the shower and went to grab a towel only to find some type of matter on both sides. * The decor on the wall is yellow. In other words, the whole picture matte around each of them have changed from either a white or ivory color to a yellow shade. The frames were all jacked up and sat sideways on the wall. Again, no pride in presentation. * The ceiling is lined with yellow around the perimeter of the room. * There was mucus on the wall in two areas above the toilet paper holder.

We loved the change in scenery going from flat land, to rolling hills, mountains and beautiful trees. It was very easy to find the location and that's saying a lot as I'm TERRIBLE with directions! Upon exiting your car, you instantly feel peace as you hear the waterfalls cascading down rocks and breathe in fresh air. The parking is right next to the cabins which are easily accessible. Our family stayed Sunday - Saturday and we had plenty to do and still missed out on seeing some attractions. We have a large family of 7 and were easily entertained. Some days were spent at the Inn relaxing, floating in the creek with inner tubes, sunbathing on the rocks, or just sitting by the water sharing fun family stories. Many evenings were spent outside grilling, playing cards and outdoor games like corn hole and Jenga. It is relaxing not being in a very touristy area. There are a lot of fun outdoor activities (white water rafting, hiking, camping, lakes, mountain view's) in the immediate area and a short drive to more popular locations like Helen or the Smokies. The housing was perfect, beds were comfortable, the shower water pressure was AMAZING, and rooms were very cool despite coming in the heat of summer. Most our time was spent outdoors enjoying the beauty of the property. At night, everything is lit up with ambient lighting, even the waterfalls! No mosquitos were to be found which was a pleasant surprise. All in all this is a MUST see if you are looking for a great place to stay that's peaceful, beautiful, close to town yet still in the hills. We can't wait to go back!
