A lot of truckers hit the road early and with the early sunrise I was up at 6 am and couldn't sleep so I checked out before the complimentary breakfast at 6:30. I stayed here for work. 11 nights and about halfway through my stay there was a fire. We all had to evacuate our rooms 11:30-12:30 At night. Staff took no help in assisting guests to properly exit their rooms. Staff refused to give any refunds, changes or cancellations to guests. I was moved rooms because of the smoke damage and it was just as gross. Smell of mildew and must. Shower drains were clogged, no hand soap, better off using a folded sweatshirt than their pillows. Also the location of the hotel, you hear everything! Sirens 24/7, train horns, exhaust pipes from cars, music from cars driving by. read more

Oh, Hell No. So, I think I'm finally starting to figure out what's happening. What's happening is that it's apparently impossible in the state of Georgia to find a hotel for under $200 a night that you can actually endure. Under normal circumstances, I would run away from a place like this immediately upon entering the room and smelling that ... smell. But, we were so dead tired from driving all day that I was practically ready to sleep on a park bench. The park bench might have been a better option. Where do I even start?!?!? * The entire place smells horrible. I have no idea what that smell is, but it's sick-making. * I paid for a non-smoking room, but clearly this room has been smoked in a million times. * The elevator is ready to die and trap its occupants in a 100-degree inferno at any moment. No way it passed any inspection in any US state. No way. * The pool was closed (probably a blessing in disguise) * Toilet did not flush. Fitting, I suppose, since we received 1/2 of a roll of toilet paper * The Yelp pictures make the place look 100 times better than it actually is. * I'm seriously considering bringing all the luggage into the room and then sleeping in the SUV tonight. I think you get the idea. This was a big mistake coming here. To say it resembles a 1972 motel would be an understatement, especially since this place was, in fact, last cleaned in 1972. read more

I stayed at Quality Inn Morrow GA on Dec 28th. It was the worst hotel stay I have ever had. First off there was no TV reception so I sat in silence all night and listened to all of the riff raff outside my door. People pull up all night long and others come out of rooms to sit in car with them. I think alot of local people live in that place. I could smell weed in my room. I was alone and got zero sleep because I was really scared. Then at 4AM the power went out it was pitch black in that room. I couldn't wait for day light to get out of there. I like the fridge with a real freezer. I like that there are loads of electrical outlets to charge my devices. I like the tile in the bathroom, the bed has it's own room, and.... I can't find anything else. There is a microwave. It's 1:28am. I can't sleep in this hotel. There are people hanging out by the parked cars, the noise from the highway is loud, there is a gap in the door that looks like it's been kicked in sometime in the past (I really don't know how it has so many dents), the extra lock on the inside is broken, it has 6 ash trays and smells like they all get used often, there are stains on the very old furniture, disposable aluminum drip pans are noisy that are under the AC. I'm not comfortable taking my shoes off, sitting down or putting my head on that bed. Pictures would look ok. But real life is bad. I wish I'd just kept driving. I'd feel safer sleeping at a rest stop. At least I can have in room coffee in the morning - well I can have in room coffee grounds, there exists coffee grounds, but no coffee maker. read more

We stopped here during our trip towards Orlando and were not very impressed. The rooms had a bit of an odour and there were bugs in the bathroom. The rooms were reasonably sized and we stayed on the second floor. Personally, the location is good because of the proximity to fast food restaurants but other than that it is an average location. A little confusing to find the lobby as well. We did enjoy breakfast though! read more

Not great. I couldn't find lobby, property felt sketchy and poorly maintained. I got on elevator and the door got stuck, I had to squeeze myself and luggage out and walk up three flights. Finally got to the room and it absolutely stunk and just had that overall unclean grimy feeling. There was nothing completely over-the-top bad that warranted a 1-star rating, but this place is not far from 1-star. They might be trying, but they have to try harder. In short Dirty, has bugs, and bad customer service. Had to ask for another room immediately due to excessive bathroom mold the second room looked like it had never been vacuumed and smelled like cigarettes even though it was a non smoking room. I should have left then and there. After the first night I woke up with bites on my arms and legs.They denied everything said "it probably came from outside" and offered only a 50% refund. I'm thinking they know and are still taking peoples money. Unacceptable. Also the wifi didn't work in my room or the lobby so I'm gonna call that broken, which seems small but one of the few good things this hotel would even have to offer. They respond to online reviews and are cheap which is probably why people are still staying here. Don't fall for it. Take your money somewhere (anywhere) else. read more

To sum it up, it was a cheap place to stay. I knew it wasn't going to be a five star experience but very disappointed all around. The lady working the day shift was delightful. Big personality and made me laugh. Good people are hard to find in hospitality, especially cheap hotels, so give her a raise and hope she sticks around awhile. We booked a king size bed in a non-smoking room. It smelled so bad of pot and cigarettes I nearly suffocated a few times. Surprisingly the room was clean, no suspicious stains to be found. Bed was made every day and we were given fresh towels. Basic room service was as expected. The noise was overwhelming. The walls were paper thin so we could hear everyone walking by, tractor trailers, and a train that would come through at least once in the middle of the night. Our biggest problem besides the stench was losing electricity on our first night. The lights and the AC went out first but the TV, fridge, microwave stayed on for awhile. I went to the front desk and the night shift person said they were waiting on Georgia Power. How was this the only building impacted in the surrounding area? Why were only parts of rooms on a particular side out? Couple of hours go by and the electricity for the entire building went out. Window blinds and door were opened so we wouldn't be in complete darkness and to let some air in. There was no communication from staff other than there's nothing we can do and it's up to Georgia Power. I'm surprised it even came back on to be honest. No one seemed to care and guests were super irritated. I was so close to forfeiting our prepaid stay and migrating elsewhere. read more

We stayed here a weekend. It was a last minute kinda thing since it was the nearest spot. It was actually really nice, very clean rooms, carpets, and good smell. It has a big parking lot and it's right next to the mall. The only disadvantage was the wi-fi, it was really slow. read more

The whole place smelled bad. All of the rooms have outside entrances. Stairwells we're especially smelly and they are outside. Need to power wash the stairwells and balcony entrances. Room smelled wierd and was really noisy. Parking was horrible. Couldn't stay in the room. Went to the front desk for a refund after being there under 2 hours and the person at the front desk didn't know how to check me out of the room. Called the hotel for a refund the next morning and they said they would have to investigate. Called 2 days later and they would only offer me a 25% refund. I may have been checked in for over an hour, but couldn't have been in the room itself for more than 20 min. which the camera in the hall could verify. NEVER staying at that hotel again and seriously questioning avoiding Choice Hotels entirely if this is how they treat their customers when they aren't satisfied with their experience. read more

Yes, there was room a the Inn on Christmas Eve. Jesus, Mary and Joseph would have been as pleased as I was to find that there were NO BEDBUGS and NO ROACHES. A dated, pseudo-Spanish colonial walk-up- inexpensive at $75/ night. The cable was very, very basic. The fridge was in desperate need of defrosting, but still kept the Christmas pastries cool. My view was of expansive, empty, mall parking lots which would sap the spirit were I to linger more than one night. The sound of the interstate was oddly like ocean waves lulling me to sleep. Coffee from the mini maker next morning was good and there was unlimited urn coffee in their dated lounge. Easily accessed off I 75. Almost beneath consideration as a review save for its charming concierge and being totally pest free. read more

I would not recommend this hotel it is very nasty and smells. The breakfast was good but the overall stay is a zero if I could have given it. The health department should be notified, the pictures that quality Inn have online must be from 20 years ago it doesn't look anything like November 2017. Coming off Hwy 75 it look abandoned. Whatever you do, travel across street or down another exit off 75 south to extended stay America for same price! This place is not only disgusting with blood stains (on two different comforters which were supposedly clean) bathrooms so small door barely closes! Housekeeping sucks! Stayed unfortunately 2 nights too long! After early checkout hotel continued to charge my card on file up to 4 times a day (pending charges) causing me to call bank and have funds put back as available did this for few days and then had to cancel the card completely so hotel would stop! Said "glitch in system" dumb people if you ask me. Do yourself a favor n save a headache move on to another place to stay read more

While travelling to Florida from Michigan we wanted to get on the south side of Atlanta to avoid the rush hour traffic the next morning. We rolled up to this hotel about 12:30am, no reservation. Got our room and went to bed. We're not picky individuals but there were things that can't be overlooked like three used wash cloths hanging on the shower rod, a musty smell, a train that passed by at 1am right next to the hotel. The staff was friendly, breakfast was the usual hotel continental breakfast. Knowing what I know now....i would keep driving. There are other hotels down the road a few exits that are the same price and a lot nicer. As a public service message if people are passing you on the right side of the road going down the highway...you're going slow, you're holding up traffic...get over!! read more

Although there are some nice amenities here, the overall atmosphere isn't a good one. The room had a very musty smell and they desperately need a face lift. Was rather noisy, could hear stomping from upstairs and traffic outside. Security lighting at night, outside, was very good. I made the mistake of reserving before seeing the room and although it was not bad enough to leave I would have moved on otherwise. The bright spot is the staff are very friendly. My reservation was made on line so imagine my surprise when I walked in and the entire lobby was torn up. They were putting down tile, the hotel name was off the wall, the food service area was sitting uncovered. Highway 75 is right at the entire side of the hotel. There is a parking area full of trash, bottles, cups, weeds, a giant mess. When I arrived at my room there was a hair pin on the floor near the door. The door was dented and beat up but so were the doors on either side of mine. The shower had black mold and the shampoo bottle was not full. The stopper wasn't in the sink. I did not eat because I was concerned about the cleanliness. The owner/manager should be embarrassed about the condition of this property. If I could give it half a star I would. read more
