This hotel was pretty good for a few nights stay, it was quite, comfortable, and cozy. The restroom was clean and the towels were fresh. My room on the 5th floor was recently renovated, it had a pretty big tv and a t &t was the cable and WiFi provider. The tv had a lot of channels to choose from. The room also had a coffee maker, small fridge, and microwave. The front desk staff was very helpful, especially Kevin. He was hospitable and made sure I had anything that I needed! The hotel also had complimentary breakfast every morning, the breakfast was average. Nothing really fresh, but it was edible and tasted pretty good. The options ranged from a few hot options such as omelets, sausage, Canadian bacon, and French toast sticks. Looks like it was all just warmed up in the microwave, but this is what I expected and like I said it was still kind of tasty. Overall, this hotel is great for a quick stay! Be very careful booking this place. You check that you are bringing a pet and then when you go to check-in, they try to charge you $75 for one night. That's ridiculous. We also booked through Expedia and it allowed us to book a king room and then when we went to check in, they told us there were no king rooms available. I would not recommend this hotel, especially if you're bringing a pet. $15-$25 for a small dog is normal $75.00 again ridiculous! read more

This is an older hotel, with friendly staff. However, it's basic. They don't even stock the small snack stand, with more than a couple options (this is probably a clue about the area). While dated, they keep it very clean. So clean that at 8:00am someone was vacuuming the hallway. Seriously, it was like a giant wake-up bell. A bit rough for someone just checking in after midnight. Why do I give this a 1 star and not a 3. One word: Saftey! Here is the most important tip: If you can't park in front of the building, stay somewhere else. On a sleepy Monday night, 20 vehicles had their rear windows smashed in and burglarized. We were one of them. The scene was horrific. Here's the kicker folks, the Cameras of the hotel were not working. Convenient? Inside job? How can this property operate under the Hilton name? Stay anywhere else. Checked in and discovered that my bed was previously slept in! You could literally see the outline of someone's body and sheet marks. I went to the Fri t desk and the lady really did t have anything to say- another employee had to finally interject and offer to come into my room and change out my bedding. Hotel in general is not clean, the standard breakfast buffet is nit your typical Hampton choices- no milk, no yogurt, no hot eggs... we always stay at Hilton properties- just will not be back here. I stayed this past Friday nite and was pleased. Hotel was quiet, and the bed was clean and comfortable. My only issue was the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor, but since there were plenty of towels, I put two or three down on the floor to absorb and didn't put any more thought to it The continental breakfast was the standard fare of mediocre oatmeal and lukewarm turkey sausage, so I grabbed a yogurt and headed out for the day. My family and I stayed here last night and I am so happy! We booked two rooms and when we checked in, the manager, Ms. Michelle, was kind enough to put us in adjoining room. The manager and entire staff was kind, welcoming, helpful & extremely professional. The hotel was VERY clean (inside & out). The rooms were renovated and they look beautiful & modern. The free breakfast was great, plentiful & a nice selection to choose from. Stayed here enroute driving to Florida from Tennessee and liked the location as it was past the traffic snarl of downtown Atlanta. Plus it was almost $40 cheaper than another place just 20 minutes away! The night staff were great - helped me book over the phone and honored my Hilton honors discount rate when the website wouldn't let me book for that night itself. When I arrived it was a smooth checkin although they close the main entrance doors after midnight and so you have to press a button on the right side of the door for the desk staff to let you in. Comfy beds, great air-con, hot water on demand and very peaceful! Seems the only upgrades to the rooms have been the flat screen tvs, the added outlets/usb ports and the ummmm, that's it! The beds are comfy and the pillows are nice. The bathroom has outdated wallpaper that reminds me of my grandmother's house when I was a kid...keep in mind, I am now a grandmother :/ so does that tell you something? Well, unfortunately, I'm going to have to update my review on this hotel to a 1 star. I recently stayed there for a solid 7 days and am now absolutely COVERED in bed bug bites!! I don't know how in the world I was eaten alive in the last 3 days of my stay and not prior, but oh my goodness...the results are Biblical. I've washed everything I own several times and am just hoping I didn't bring them back with me. I stayed in room 226. I am sad to say I will no longer be staying here, I really loved the hotel staff and breakfast, but I'd advise staying somewhere else to avoid this plague. read more

We are going on 90 days at this little jewel of a stay on the south side now. I could not hold back the fifth star any longer! These people work really hard to provide the level of Hilton care that makes us continue to patronize the brand. Outstanding front desk care in all the lovely ladies plus the handsome Josh, and chivalrous Ernest. Shamesha, the sales manager, makes every day pleasant with that contagious smile and positive energy! I did read a recent review before making my reservation and I can't believe it was the same location. After a quite pleasant check in we found the room did not have a clean smell, was shabby, furniture was chipped unkempt. There appeared to be large groups checked in so it was noisy till about 10 or so. Went to get ice and discovered the machine was out on that floor and the next we were told. One of 2 elevators was out as were the lights on the slow working one. My husband has a bad ankle. We asked at the front desk if they could get the ice and a young man told my husband they don't do that just keep trying the ice machines to find one that would work. A second request to the front desk got us ice about 30 minutes later, after the young man got back from his break. I asked for an adjustment on the bill because it was THE worst hotel and the worst Hampton Hotel in 50 yrs of travel I received a very condescending reply from the young lady at the desk. This makes me wonder why I signed up for HH program? I attached pictures but didn't take the chipped furniture- you will have to believe me on that! read more

This property needs help, our understanding from speaking to a staff member was the hotel is going to be renovated, I hope so it really needs renovations. The paint was peeling in our room, literally flaking off the ceiling, it took several minutes to finally get hot water and the tv only could get 1 Channel and the remote didn't work, the batteries were taped to the back of the remote because the cover was missing. The only saving grace is the staff, especially Vitoria and trey, if it wasn't for their caring and patience we would have given this hotel 1star. We are Hilton honor members and have stayed at Hampton inns in the past, this by far the worst property we have ever stayed in, in so far as the maintenance of the facility, especially when they charge so much. Hopefully they will in fact renovate. read more

checked in 20 February 2018. Had to wait for a room and once in the room it was musty. After checking the bed I pulled back the covers and it was bloody sheets! Yes I said Bloody sheets and gum on the headboard. I called front desk and they sent housekeeping who was ready to change the sheets so I asked for a whole different room. After waiting 35 minutes in the hallway I was given another room. Then was told go get the key from Front desk. Upon going to get the room key was told that they added some points to my Honors account.....WTF!! And the sad part was I had no other hotel to go to. Never will I ever stay there again!! read more

Not sure what other hotels in the area charge but I paid $127 a night (St. Patrick's day weekend). I suggest to yelpers to try to find another hotel if the price is going to be about the same because this place is just "ok"...nothing more, nothing less. I could not get early check-in which I was only trying to check in 2hrs early and only one elevator was working which caused delays due to all guest that were booked that weekend for a wedding. On a good note, the room was clean and the staff was friendly. read more

Safe and comfortable night stay and conveniently located near shopping, restaurants and more. It was only 5 miles away from the port where I shipped my vehicle overseas. They offer military discounted rates, so thank you! The room was a little dated and small; but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable we slept great (no noise). Breakfast, TV and wifi services were included in the price. Wifi was good stayed connected the entire time and my daughter even used constant youtube via her kindle w no issues. The breakfast was average, I liked it. Should've taken a picture but everything was fresh and refilled, complimentary coffee was also a plus! There was plenty of seating and I just want to go on the record and say I'm a fan of the little half moon omelets lol. If you need to be in this side of town this is definitely a great choice. My kids were eying to the pool but it wasn't open yet. Small notes for staff if you're reading this we stayed in room 505. The remote needs new batteries and the fridge is wobbling pretty bad. The headboard is in need of some serious cleaning (spots everywhere). Hope this helps improve. read more

The staff is great but everything else needs improvement. Four minutes to get hot water; internet drops more than an Atlanta tight end. This. Has been going on for years. It appears that the owners are just milking this property. This is sad because the staff and location are great. This hotel is older and in need of renovations. We needed two rooms last night, both non- smoking. Upon checking in one room had strong smoke odor and had to relocate to another room. The other room had a problem with the shower and only had very hot water! The balancing valve was malfunctioning. Tried to call the front desk and the room phone was out of order. We went to the front desk and they relocated us to another room - which was fine. The staff was very courteous and the breakfast and food preparer was excellent. The hotel itself is in need of maintenance in my opinion. There were lamps that didn't work in the room too. Don't be fooled - the lobby looked great. read more

So bad we left after checking in to drive to another hampton inn 1/2 hour away. The front desk person only made excuses as to why we didn't have a fridge "90% of hampton inns have no fridges!", "its a fire hazard to have a roll away in a room with 2 beds"..., the list goes on and on. My family has stayed here three time now travelling back and forth to Florida. We have always left very satisfied with the room and service. There is nothing out of the ordinary at this Hampton Inn, but I find that it is very easy to get to and the rates are about $20 less than other Hamptons or comparable hotels closer to Atlanta. I ended up getting stranded in Atlanta when that freeze hit in January 2014 and since all the hotels near the airport were closed, I came all the way out here for a room. I'm in the military and traveled with a bunch of others who all got rooms here. I can easily say it was one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had at a hotel and the gentleman who helped us was very polite and made sure we were helped quickly. We booked a few night stay to avoid Hurricane Irma. When we checked in the window had a giant crack across the width of the window. The front desk was not concerned that a wind-storm was approaching. They blamed a contractor that had done some exterior work and refused to put plywood, or even duct tape. The cleaning crew also failed to clean the rooms, claiming they were short staffed. We would be handed a few towels and they would change one of the two garbage cans. Oh yeah, bed bugs!! Did I mention the bed bugs!!! Sadly, they refused to honor their money back guarantee. I checked in online only to arrive at the hotel and find out that my room was not available because it was still dirty and had not been cleaned that day. I had checked in for 3pm and actually didn't arrive until 11:30pm. The hotel was sold out. The girls at the desk were very apologetic and did have someone clean another room for us, we just had to wait about 20 mins. The rooms are adequate. I would not say this hotel has been "renovated"...if it has, I would wonder when/where. While the room/bathroom were clean they are just dated. I've stayed at much nicer Hampton Inns. The complimentary breakfast was good, what you would expect. Parking would be my only complaint. Seemed like I had to park in the back 40, was a little distance to have to drag two kids and our luggage that late at night. There was an outdoor pool, gym, however we did not use either of them. read more

Stayed here this past weekend and did not enjoy the experience. I don't know where some of these photos came from of the rooms because they are not that modern. It's a pretty outdated hotel-which is fine, if it's at least clean. The sheets felt like they hadn't been washed and my friend found stains on her top sheet. The bathroom was run down as the over head lights had rust from years of hot showers. The room smelled of mildew. Pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. We left for the day and came back that night to an unserviced room. No, the do not disturb sign was not on the door handle. The housekeeper came in and left her card on the table but did not make the beds or replace the towels. I reported this to the front desk where I was originally ignored for a few minutes. When I explained the lack of turn down service, the front desk person asked me multiple times if I was sure that I did not hang the do not disturb sign. Again, if I did, why would the housekeeper leave her card in the room? Or even go in just for that? I asked for new towels. They said they had to "Hunt down some clean ones". Le barf!!!! About ten minutes later, one of the staff brought us three towels that were still damp. Double Le barf!!!! Not pleases with the place and do not plan on going back on my own free will. read more
