We stayed in Building A. We have stayed here several years ago and stayed in Building B. I am not sure which building is newer. The room is definitely older in the standard of Quality Inn. The building is generally kind of dark. There is a pool but we didn't use it. I can't tell that we are in a pandemic as no one wore face masks except the staff, my husband and I. Everything functions like pre-pandemic. The room and furnishings are rather old. The sofa has a bloody stain on the cushion. The amenities included a small fridge that had a very small open freezer, small microwave, and coffee maker. There was no safe in room. The breakfast had egg omelet, waffle, greek yogurts, muffins, juice, milk, oranges, etc. It was very nice to get a welcome gift of a small bottle of water, 2 mint candies and a microwave popcorn. read more

Building B smelled like smoke! Hot tub was barely warm and no jets. Staff at desk were not happy to be there. Carpet in all of building B needs changed out. Mattress lumpy and pillows were old and very small. They reset the keys every 48 hours, but didn't tell us so we could plan for it. We just went through the frustration of being locked out and then having to walk to the other building where they reset our keys, but still didn't tell us it would happen again 2 days later. Breakfast was very good for midrange hotel. Good choices. Pool was clean, but needs an update. Room and linens appeared clean. read more

Upon arrival, I specifically requested a NON-SMOKING room because I have COPD, and my 5-year-old grandson who was staying with me also has respiratory issues. Despite making this very clear, we were shoved into a smoking room. The fact that the door even had a NON-SMOKING plaque on it was almost laughable considering the condition of the room we walked into. The moment we entered, the smell and condition of the room were absolutely nauseating. The floor was filthy, disgusting, and sticky--on CARPET. I genuinely felt uncomfortable even taking my shoes off because I felt like I was walking through someone's dried-up vomit. The curtains, walls, fixtures, and seemingly every surface in the room were covered in a thick layer of yellow cigarette tar and grime. The lighting was so yellow and dim that the entire room felt dark, dirty, and completely uninviting. The bedding was equally horrifying. The beds had burn marks, stains, grime, and disgusting-looking bedding. Who would reasonably look at those conditions and think they were acceptable for a paying guest? The stairs leading to the room had visible staples sticking out, creating an obvious safety hazard, and the carpet was ripped and torn. The entire place looked neglected, filthy, and completely unmaintained. It honestly resembled something out of a run-down crack house rather than a hotel charging $155 PER NIGHT. This was not simply an issue of the room being "dated." This was a cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and health issue. There is a massive difference between an older hotel and a hotel that appears to have been neglected to the point that guests are afraid to touch anything.By the following morning, both my grandson and I were struggling to breathe. I specifically requested a non-smoking room for this exact reason, and the hotel failed to provide one. This was supposed to be a place where my family could rest safely and comfortably. Instead, we spent the night feeling disgusted, uncomfortable, worried about breathing the air, and afraid to sleep in the beds. My daughter, my grandson, and I were left feeling absolutely miserable. When I went to the front desk the following morning to ask for assistance and a refund that I believe is completely justified, I was essentially brushed off by Beth because I booked through Expedia. That response was unacceptable. Whether I booked through Expedia or directly through the hotel does not change the fact that I was the guest who paid for this room and was subjected to these conditions. I was given no meaningful assistance, no concern for our health, no attempt to remedy the situation, and seemingly no regard whatsoever for the fact that my family was standing there feeling filthy, uncomfortable, and physically affected by the room. If the hotel believes that booking through Expedia gives them an excuse to wash their hands of the situation, that is simply not acceptable. For $155 a night, I expected a clean, safe, sanitary, family-appropriate room. What I received was the complete opposite. Based on the condition of this property, I honestly cannot understand how anyone could justify charging that amount. The condition of the room was more consistent with a $20-a-night roadside room, and even then, I would have seriously questioned whether it was safe enough for my family. I would have NEVER booked or stayed at this property had the actual conditions been accurately represented. Had I known I would be placed in a smoke-contaminated, filthy, poorly maintained room despite specifically requesting non-smoking accommodations due to respiratory issues, I would have taken my family somewhere else without hesitation. This was not a minor inconvenience. This was a genuinely awful and distressing experience that left my family uncomfortable, disgusted, and physically affected. I paid for a hotel room; not a filthy, smoke-contaminated, unsafe environment that my family was afraid to sleep in. read more

This by far was the foulest nastiest hotel that I've ever stayed in (and girl has stayed in some dive ass motels and hotels). Corporate needs to intervene because management doesn't give a shit and clearly the employees don't either. The room was so over scented with two glade plug ins to mask the mold and soiled carpet smell / issue that within 10 minutes of being in the room I had to leave for fresh air because I couldn't breath (and I don't have breathing issues). They don't even try to mask the fact that the room has had significant water damage and there is mold throughout the bathroom. If the room wasn't vile enough, on multiple occasions (I unfortunately was booked for a week and had no option but to stick it out) in order to leave or enter the hotel I had to excuse myself and walk through 2-3 employees bunch together directly in front of the door smoking. Zero care or professionalism as they continued to bullshit and bad mouth management. Front desk was always hiding in the back room. Didn't matter the time of day, no one was ever at the desk, always in the back bullshitting and eating (heard stories about baby daddies, new bedroom partners and their sleeping habits, asshole kids, etc). Not sure why I was completely floored when I witnessed the morning food service gal shut off the lights and tell the woman eating that "we are closed now, you have to go somewhere else" no more than 3 minutes after breakfast ended. I was kind of sad to see my elevator buddy to finally leave after 4 days (it was a mento and some toenail clippings that sat in the same spot day after day). Guess vacuuming the elevator daily isn't really a thing. So anywho, place is garbage and doesn't seem like anyone within the company gives much of a damn. read more

This place advertised a hot tub and pool to start. The hot tub jets dont work nor does the filtration. I told the staff about the hot tub and they said yep we know. Just is just gross. There was hair and scum floating in the hot tub. The room wasn't any better. Rust on all fixtures metal in the bathroom, hair on the towels and hair still on the floor in bathroom. The sheets had hair on them also. Again said this to staff at check out and said we'll you booked through a 3rd party so talk to them. I will never stay in this place. I booked Expedia.com, and the rooms on the pictures look clean and up to date, not like a rundown motel. So I decided to book the room. When we arrived at the hotel for my 3pm check-in reservation, there were 3 people in uniform outside in the front doors. One was smoking, and the others were not quite sure what they were doing. It smell very strong of cigarette smoke, and there were cigarette buds on the floor, and of course, some inside that they ended up being dragged inside. Of course, the lobby smelled like cigarettes. Then the gals went inside the younger one went behind the counter and started to check me in. I reserved a king-size bed with the sofa bed. She changed my room to a downstairs with 2 queen size beds. I was okay with that. Then I went to get my kids out of the car we headed to our room which by the way it barely had any room for my daughter's wheelchair but we made it work. My 15 year old said that the room stinks, which it did. It had a smell of old and like moisture, so she got her body sprayed and sprayed the room til she was satisfied with the smell. The beds were made good. One of the beds had what a look like blood stains on the bedding covers. The carpet was old with multiple stains, which is probably a reason why the room smelled bad. The ac/heating system it wasn't working it just said it, but I couldn't change the settings on it. The view from our room was the parking lot of the building behind the hotel. The hideaway bed had stains on the mattress and the sheets as well. I had to go ask for clean sheets. There was also trash under the bed when I pulled the mattress out. The bath just smelled like pee. The pool, the water, looked a bit dirty, and the pool door wasn't locked at all. The hot tub took a long time for the water to get hot, and the bubbles were really not there and not strong enough. The hallway carpet was just in desperate need of a new carpet that staffs a room didn't even have a lock it was broken. The breakfast area was actually not bad. The lady in charge of that had it well kept clean, and it smelled delicious of waffles. The eggs were not bad at all. Overall I would not be booking there again. This hotel is starting to have a feel of more like a cheap motel, very rundown, desperate need of some TLC and upgrades. read more

Our room was fairly clean but the staff is awful. There was one young gentleman working on the night of October 17 who was fantastic. My husband asked for a blanket and was told by a female "we don't have blankets". My adult daughter was not ok with that answer so asked the young man who was super helpful and brought one to our room. At 10:55 am I asked the housekeeper for a roll of toilet paper. She responded "are you checking out"? I said "is it 11:00"? and she said yes. I let her know what the time was and repeated my request for toilet paper. I then said "of course we are checking out". We still wanted to be able to use our bathroom on the way out. Never again. read more

We couldn't check in until 3:00 PM and asked for a no smoking room. We got to the hotel at 3:40 PM and the front desk said our room had not been cleaned yet and that it would take another 40 minutes until we could check in. When we got back and were able to check in the room was nice and big which was really great considering we had our kids with us. We left the hotel and when we got back at 10:30pm one of our kids used the toilet and it would not stop running and it was very, very loud. My husband had to take the back of the toilet off to Jimmy rig it so it would flush and not run constantly. We pulled out the pullout couch so our kids would have somewhere to sleep and it did not have any pillows or blankets with it only a sheet. It's the middle of January and it's really cold. Our room also had no extra pillows or extra blankets so I called the front desk to get some and they said they only had one extra pillow left and no extra blankets. The hotel was not even at half capacity they should have had extra blankets and pillows. Then when it was finally time for my husband and I to go to bed, we each only had one small pillow so that our kids could have some pillows to sleep on and our bed was so old. It was still a spring bed it was not comfortable whatsoever and you could feel the springs underneath you laying down. We were all really looking forward to a good nights rest after traveling and considering I also am breast-feeding our newborn baby that was with us. It was a very very long night and we were supposed to stay for two nights but because this hotel was so horrible. We canceled the second night and asked for our money back. We will see if we end up getting it back or not, but I will never stay at a quality in ever again that was horrible and those were just the biggest things that were wrong. The smaller things are: The showerhead in the shower was broken. The mirror in the bathroom was peeling like crazy. You could see there was mold on the ceilings and as you walk up the stairs, going to your non-smoking room, you smell cigarette smoke and pot the whole way up, which was not fair for my kids or my newborn baby to have to smell and breathe in. The hot tub in the bedroom was absolutely filthy looking. And my husband and I honestly questioned if the room had been used for orgies before. Because that's how it felt being in the room. Eggs at breakfast were bad eggs. They smelled rotten. The only pros: breakfast biscuits and gravy and the waffles and the little milks they had were our favorites. The room was really big, which was nice for having the kids with us and while Everything else sucked, the front desk Staff was really nice. Not the smartest but nice. read more

This is a horrible hotel. They have a new building and an old building - we got stuck in the old. It smelled of cigarettes and ... other things. Pool was boarded up. Stains in the carpet in the room and halls. Paint peeling. Even the grass was dead. New building was much nicer, including breakfast. When I checked out and told the desk clerk of all the issues, she said 'well, we do the best we can'. Couldn't understand why I resented paying the same price staying in the crappy building as we would have in the newer building. So, apparently this is the best they can do. Nastiest hotel we've ever stayed in. Felt dirty just staying there. Carpets throughout the hotel in the hallways and rooms are not just stained, they smell. We couldn't lock both the door or the windows. Locks broken on both. Lights not working in the room. Shower rusted. Mirror frame chipped, bathroom lights rusted and door frame rotted. Floors paper thin and the people above you will sound like they're in the room with you. Mattress was torn. I asked the evening clerk after we saw the shape of the room if I could speak with a manager and he said they don't like to give out their personal phone numbers and they weren't there. He assured me both would be there in the morning. Next morning, as I was checking out, I ask for both of the managers by name And the receptionist said they weren't here. I told her what was wrong with the room and she never once made eye contact with me. Just kept staring at her computer and not once did she apologize. I asked if she had the number for corporate and she said no she didn't. So when we left, I called corporate after googling their number and they refunded the cost of our stay. Worst experience in a hotel ever and will probably never stay in a quality Inn again. Afterwords I went on their reviews and people had been complaining for several years about the exact same thing so that shows me that corporate probably doesn't care. Run and do not stop here! We were traveling from WA to Las Vegas , NV. So Idaho was the mid point to overnight. We had reserved two rooms. Both were "cleanish". One room had a bathroom that had dirt all over the fan, so not sure when it was last cleaned. The other rooms bathroom had black mold in the shower. Parking is a no go here. We had a Uhaul with a car trailer and this is a very tiny lot, so on Friday night , lots of travelers and 18 wheelers and no where for them to park without risk of being towed. But to be honest it wasn't so much the dirt that bothered me as much as the unfriendly rude customer service. When I arrived there were 2 people at desk. Didn't get their names but one was a shorter blonde-ish woman and she was the nicer of the two and you could feel her empathy and sincerity in helping us out with the parking situation. The other a dark haired robot with glasses She was horrible, not sure if she has ever had any customer service training but if so , none could be seen. Her answer to our parking issue was "I don't know what to tell you, but it's not really our problem". She was very monotone and robotic as if she was reading a script and just started reciting all the rules. Clearly she did not wish to be bothered! There was no friendliness or courtesy. And I did not feel welcome on any level at this place. My daughter got turned around and went in to ask where our room number was located and this woman snapped at my daughter "it's in the other building". But no left or right direction was given. When I initially asked which way to room, the woman did not even respond. The blonde woman looked over at her lack of response and then provided me with direction. Clearly this dark haired young lady with glasses is a very angry person and unhappy working here because I witnessed her be just as rude to another guest after me. She really needs to find another line of work because customer service is not her forte. As for the ambience, we arrived at around 10-11pm on a Friday night. Lots of 20 something's wandering from buildings from room to room so a bit of a noisy environment. But even some loud parties about two doors down. Eventually they did quiet down by around midnight. The only saving Grace for this place is placement. The continental breakfast they serve is pretty good and quite a few choices. Also a Starbucks and many restaurant choices available nearby. So that is a small positive Overall if you have a choice, choose somewhere else. I have stayed at many quality inns in other states as well as other hotels. This Quality Inn & Suites made for a pleasant one-night stay in the commercial heart of Twin Falls. The location is perfect -- it's walking distance to dozens of shops and restaurants, including a Golden Corral across the street, and just a short drive/hike to attractions like Snake River Canyon, the Perrine Bridge and Perrine Coulee Falls. My one king bed room was clean, quiet and easy to access. This property has an elevator, key-carded door for after-hours access, and vending machines. I did not observe any staff wearing masks, though I appreciate the few COVID-19 precautions they did take, such as individually wrapping breakfast items in lieu of a continental breakfast buffet. All in all, the price is right (you may even get a discount if you're a first-time Choice Hotels member and book via the hotel's website). I'd stay again! read more

The first building that they sent us to was the b building the halls smelled fine until we got right outside of our room door and the second that we walked in the smell of weed hit us all in the face it smelled horrible all though it looked good it smelled horrible. We called the front office and they than gave us a different room in the A building on the top floor the halls than all smelled like weed but the room was fine but than after a while off being in the room I felt very nauseous and like I was going to throw up. Choices could only offer one location, Quality Inn, on Fillmore Street. we checked in at 7 pm. we took bags in room, then called our daughter to check in. then as we looked at room we saw soiled carpet, spill marks on walls, mold on ceiling in bathroom. our room was not in main building but in a separate building (B). when walking in we could smell cigarette smoke. we went down to office to see if could get a different room. we were told none available. the clerk offered to give our money back. we were on way to grab a bite to eat. we had not eaten all day and restaurant closed at 9 pm. we got phone number from clerk of Choices Hotels to see if they had options for us. while eating we made a call to Choices Hotels but only options were in another town. we returned to get our money back but was told not possible as had been too long, that we had room for 2 1/2 hours., claiming we had complained at 7 pm, when in fact it was 8 pm. when we tried to correct her she said we were badgering her and she grabbed her phone to call police to have us removed. our stays at Choices has been good until this place. do not stay there. the staff is rude, not honest, and the place is not clean. read more

Jamiee, Aimee, and Katelyn were rude, racist, and threatened me with violence. I also have the whole interaction recorded as proof. I came to the office with a complaint because my dogs paws got burned due to the lack of correspondence on the hotels part regarding the fact that they were getting their parking lot redone. I came into the office, very calm, explaining the situation. Jamiee the manager was immediately defensive, insisting it was not their fault or problem. Aimee was antagonizing the situation by calling me stupid, saying it was my fault (however no one told me there was going to be pavement work at that moment). Katelynn, with the glasses, ran from the back to cuss at me, saying "there's three of us, one of you" as if they were going to harm me. All three of them were disrespectful, did not want to come to a resolution whatsoever, HORRIBLE customer service, and NO ONE apologized. I have to spend $$$ on a vet bill because of this. As I was walking out, I heard them say "That's why I hate Mexicans". They treated me poorly because they're racist, and not that it matters but I'm not even Mexican. read more

I cannot recommend to stay at this hotel. I made a reservation to stay here over the Thanksgiving holiday and my room was never cleaned. When I checked in, I was told that cleaning service for the room on the holiday would not happen to allow staff to have time with their family. I was fine with this and was pleased that they told me that this was going to happen but I was assured that my room would be cleaned on Friday. When I got back to my room Friday evening my room had not been cleaned. I called the Front Desk and they asked me "Did you want your room cleaned?" I told them that I did not know that I needed to request service when I had been told at check-in that my room would be cleaned on Friday. When I left my room on Saturday morning, I again asked the Front Desk staff if my room was going to be cleaned that day and they again assured me that the room would be cleaned. When I returned to my room late Saturday night I discovered that my room had again not been cleaned. I went down to the Front Desk to address my concern and I was told that because of local Covid restrictions that rooms are not cleaned regularly. I asked why this Covid restriction was not posted anywhere or made known to guests when they check-in. No one had an answer. I looked at their website and nothing was mentioned about Covid restrictions regarding room cleaning. My next visit to this area I will definitely stay in another hotel. read more

I spoke to night staff about the room and was told that there were no other rooms available. that if I came in and talk to Jamie the manager after seven that something would be done about it or I could just leave a comment card and she would get back to me. When I asked them to clean it up, they threw some water on it and now it was surrounding my vehicle. 3rd hotel I tried via phone while coming in S93. It was late and I was looking for Non Smoking close to Costco area. (same parking lot even ) Diane was awesome, she handled everything over the phone for me. Right when you walk in the main front lobby they have a fully stocked coffee / tea bar for you! What a convenient surprise. The place was very clean. Diane finished up what was left for my check-in. At the last minute I had asked her if she knew if there were shower caps in the rooms. BC feeling exhausted, I did NOT want to come back down. She kindly grabbed me one just in case. The only negative, ...I had a Non Smoking room at the end of the hall where I oddly had to walk by some smoking rooms. Another hotel guest had their smoking room door propped open and I thought I was going to puke it smelled so bad. (If you are a non smoker, I'm sure you can relate) All I could think of making that trek down the hall was MY Hair, My sweater, My hat, my clothes.... ;( You know when your traveling not everything gets washed right away.) Those thoughts quickly went away when I got to my room and opened the door. It was very nice, very clean and had No shower cap in bathroom. So THANK YOU again Diane at front desk for not even hesitating and saving me in the end. lol Next morning: I was going to make a cup of coffee in my room but unfortunately that was the Only thing in the room that looked like it had never been used or cleaned ;( On a much more positive side, they have two complimentary breakfast rooms!! Worse encounter I've had at a hotel. Long long story short I was kicked out in middle of night when asking for access to hot tub. Michael at front desk was the rudest person I think I've met. Asked me if "I was f'ing dumb" and told me to go to my room. Which I of course asked to talk to someone else and he then called me a Karen lol.. he said he was going to call security which i was more than happy to speak with but police showed up. Due to the fact that its a privately owned company they are able to refuse services in turn leading me to trespassing. Poor guy has some big personal issues. The day following check out my personal information has now been hacked and currently within lawsuit to find the source... ironic..I think not. I ended up speaking with manager recently and was told none of that should have happened, got my money back and apologized to. Now I have to deal with fraud issues because my information was given out. Oh and BTW I saw someone puke in the pool and he, Michael, personally used the pool scooper and got the chunks out and then opened the doors to the public again. Health violation no doubt. Don't recommend what so ever. read more

Very large property. It worked for the night. The parking lot was jammed up so I assume the hotel was as well. The Snake River is a beautiful sight just to the north of here. My hotel room had a fantastic view of the employee smoking area behind Costco. read more

I only booked a room here because I BASE jump and it is very convenient. That said, the rooms are so outdated, you have to wonder when they'll be updating them. The room I had just felt dirty -- like 30 years of dirt dirty. The carpet was stained, the tv old, the bed sheets just felt unclean and the bathroom was as bare bones as can be. However, it is located right at the top of the hill you come up if you are hiking out of the Perrine after having jumped off the bridge. And the suites are big enough to pack your parachute in. So when it was 95-degrees, I went to my hotel and packed in the A/C in my suite and that is worth suffering through an old, slightly dirty room. I'll be back, but I hope they start construction soon. read more

A lovely hotel in a great location- close to all that we wanted to do in Idaho Falls. The room was nice and very clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Ice pool was refreshing after a hot day in the sun. Highly recommend staying here. Good for families, business, or any travelers read more

Honestly would not give them any stars the staff he is so rude and could really care less to help you out only if it benefits them they'll help you out I ask about the bbq and this lady at the desk was super rude she goes "umm yeah but you have to get a guess" in a rude voice and it's not like I been here for a week already I'll never be returning to a quality inn thanks to Idaho rude people! read more
