This hotel has an Indoor heated pool with a hot tub, a fitness center with a good blend of older and newer cardio equipment, free weights, and features a Peloton that anyone can use with the hotel's account or their own account with a free account. My room was a large King suite with plenty of floor space, a refrigerator, coffee station, a separate sink and additional storage space. The wifi is a bit slow for my liking, but I was able to surf, check emails and do other general tasks. There is a premium Wi-Fi offer for higher-tiered members or for a daily fee. Breakfast is buffet-style with a choice of hot and cold offerings as well as cereals, breads, eggs, oatmeal, fresh fruit and other items. Overall, a problem-free stay in a well-maintained property close to highways, gas stations, restaurants, schools and an outlet mall.

We appreciate the quiet hallway and the insulation that made the room easy to sleep in. The bed was very comfortable and allowed for a restful night sleep. There are plenty of outlets in the room. The only thing I will recomed for travelers is to carry a nightlight to put in the bathroom. It makes a difference to keep the room darker but also allow you to see and not get blinded by the bathroom light at night. This also limits how much you disturb others in the room. We carry 2 nightlight with us I just in case.

Even when it was busy, she was everywhere, keeping everything clean, full, and running smoothly while constantly checking in with guests. She brought such a genuine, positive energy to the space. What really stood out was how she connected with people. She took the time to show my son how things worked and explain why, and I saw her doing the same for other families. Immediately upon entering my room, it smelled old and musty; flipping on the fan cleared the air in a few minutes. The rooms themselves were fine. Obviously, attempts at updating have been made (paint, carpets, plugs for electronics, coffee maker, etc,.) You could tell the rooms and furniture were old, but perfectly adequate. About half a hour after we got into our rooms, we received a call from reception asking if everything was ok, and if we needed anything. Shortly thereafter, while using the bathroom sink, it wouldn't drain. I called down to reception, informed them of the problem and that I was going out for a couple of hours. Upon my return, the problem was fixed! Before checking out, we received a letter under the door, hoping that our stay was fine and to let them know if we weren't satisfied. Checkout was at the reception desk and was fine. The included breakfast was ok. They had a lot of options: multiple juices, fruits, yogurt, pastries, cereals, granola bars, make your own waffle machine, your own hot oatmeal and toast, plus scrambled eggs sausages and bacon on a hot tray. They have a couple of vending machines by the elevators which carry soft drinks and snacks. For the location and being only two blocks from the center of Franklin, this hotel serves its customers well. They really go the extra mile to make people happy during their stay. I remember the hotel when it was built in the 1960s. The hallway to the elevators have pictures of old Franklin and the Oil City area, "back in the day," even before it was the original Voyager Inn. Now, it seems to be mostly an overnight business hotel; the parking lot fills up each evening and empties early the next morning; it's nice to know it's still around!
