I have stayed at this location 40+ times over the past 2 years. I travel very frequently for work and this location has remained my favorite. The accommodations are average, but nothing less than you would expect from a Hampton Inn & Suites. I have stayed at nicer hotels, but the sole purpose for this 5 star review is the staff. The service is unmatched. The rooms are always clean. I rarely have issues. I have never once dealt with a difficult employee. The few times I've had small issues come up, they get resolved without any frustration. Specifically, Marcus is awesome. He always remembers me when I get there. He has caught and fixed issues with my reservation several times before I even noticed. When he sees that my corporate rate isn't added properly, he fixes it before I get a chance to bring it up. He truly goes above and beyond to ensure my stay is enjoyable. Every time. I forgot my wallet in my room one time and they found it and shipped it to me. I had quite a bit of cash in it and it was all there when I received it. Sounds simple, but these days it is worth noting that type of honesty and integrity. This location has set the bar so high for customer service that I get frustrated when I don't have the same experience elsewhere. Getting to engage with a team of employees that are able to consistently offer a great experience at every interaction is truly a privilege. read more

I travel frequently for work and visit this hotel often; usually 3 nights per month. They have recently had some staff turnover and things have gone a bit downhill. The hotel is near a highway and some rooms are very loud due to traffic sounds. Even though the hotel is usually not at capacity, they cannot change my reservation to a different room in a quieter location, stating that the system will not allow them to make this change. And for some reason, during my last 2 visits, they have given me a handicap accessible room with a lower bed. Front desk staff is also not as attentive or friendly as the previous team. The rooms are still clean and the dining room staff are incredible. But the overall service is declining and I may look into other lodging options in the area for this reason. read more

The Staff Are Awesome!!! I was in the Sharon PA area last year for a committee meeting at the nearby NLMK. Many of us who are with the AIST Cold Rolling Committee were staying at this hotel. Before my arrival, I got a phone call from Hampton telling me that the room I had booked would not be ready due to an issue with the room. They told me they would give me the best room possible and top up my Hilton Rewards Points. Please note that this hotel may be a little tricky to find when you come off the highway. Some GPS's may take you to another address. The hotel is way in the back near another hotel. Watch out for the big Pothole, if it hasn't been fixed yet. The hotel is right down the road from other hotels, restaurants, gas stations, and there is a Dunkin' Donuts about 3 minutes away. The hotel is a great property with a large meeting area near check-in. The staff were great upon my arrival and gave me a very good room. The room itself was very big and had a divider in the middle which also acts as a work area. My room very spacious, clean and new looking sink and bathroom area. When I walked into my room it had a small area with a fridge and microwave right where the door is. My room had a couch and coffee table on one side and a bed was on the other side of the room. This hotel is clean, a little dated, the gym is above average with free weights, cardio machines, a water cooler, and lots of towels. Overall another great stay at another great Hampton. read more

Clean, nice hotel right off the highway. We stayed the weekend for a wedding and I typically am never botherd by mattresses but the one bed in our room was horrible. I tossed and turned the whole night. The second night I switched beds at 5am and was able to get some rest. read more

This Hampton Inn opened on 5/7/12 so everything was brand new and had that "brand new" smell. I was on a business trip so I stayed at this hotel. It was a little hard to find this place at first because it was way behind the Super 8 which was behind a gas station. The staff here were really nice and friendly. Everything was so clean and it was well lit. There was complimentary breakfast and the dining area was really nice. I don't think I've been to a Hampton Inn this nice before. The room I stayed in was very clean with a flat screen tv that can be moved. They had an ironing board and iron in the closet. The bathroom came with shampoo, conditioner, soap, and mouthwash which not many hotels I've been to had. The free wifi signal was strong in my room so that was good. Everything in my room was good from what I could tell. Great hotel to stay at with great staff! read more

This is an older property and our room felt a little closed in, but was comfortable. We didn't use them, but the pool and exercise room were both above average. Breakfast was okay, but the night we were there, there was also an evening "reception" (Monday-Wednesday only) that was very good. Not quite a full meal, but almost -- very good chicken soup and excellent cornbread. Many guests seemed to be regulars and some seemed to rely on these receptions for their evening meal. Apparently, BBQ is a big favorite. We aren't raving about this place, but would stay here again. read more

I've stayed here on several occasions now for weddings up north. This hotel always seems heavily booked for a reason! Very clean, nice looking rooms, and friendly prompt staff. Free breakfast in the morning is a plus as well. Most of my Hilton stays are at least a 3 star. This one stands out as being a little better than the rest and will look to book here in the future if rooms are available! read more

If I could go lower on ratings, I would. Yeah, it's a new hotel but they think it's the Taj Mahal. This place is in Sharon, Pa. The middle of nowhere and their room rates are as if they were in NYC. As a Diamond Hilton Member, I use Hilton family hotels almost exclusively. I refuse to go back to this one. Youngstown is 10 minutes away. The Hampton on Belmont Ave is far better deal. read more

As the other yelper stated, it is a brand new hotel and nicely appointed. There is an indoor pool with jacuzzi area. Suites come with mounted flat screen TV that is mounted and can be moved directionally to be viewed from the bed or the couch on the other side of the room. Because everything is new, everything is super clean. The fitness area has some cardio machines and a set of dumbbells. The employees are extremely nice here and pleasant. Couldn't ask for a better customer service experience. read more

I have stayed at a lot of Hilton properties and I have stayed at a lot of Hampton Inns. this will, sadly, not rank amongst those that I prefer. It checks all of the boxes Hampton expects although it seems as if they (those that built and manage this property) did everything at minimum standards and as cheaply as possible. The front desk was pretty much indifferent upon our arrival not that I expected them to bend over backwards but as a Diamond members we expected a little more. There were, to be fair, dedicated parking spots for preferred members so that was pretty cool. The room itself was, in a word, adequate. The mattress was not comfortable and it was clearly not a design intended to make a guest or in this case two, feel at home. That is Hampton Inn's selling point, by the way, as they say "Welcome Home" on the key card. I can't say the room layout or the staff was very welcoming. The breakfast experience was on par or even a little better than some hotels. This is what caused me to move this review to above average. read more

Check in process was quick and easy. Room was very clean (King Studio Extended Suite,) spacious, and the layout surpassed expectations. We reserved for a simple night away from kids but this would be perfect for anyone away on business as the desk is so convenient or someone looking for an extended stay, as well as those hoping to have a few guests as this room can accommodate up to 5. The table and chairs were a nice touch! We stayed on floor 3 at the end of the hall. Easy access to the stairs and outside and also very quiet. Will definitely stay again as I am a local. :) read more

I am a person of color and have since talked to another person of color who works for the Hampton Inn in another state and they said that this particular Hampton Inn in Sharon Pennsylvania discourages people of color from staying there so it all made sense. 3 1/2 stars. The bedding is super comfy and they give you a lot of pillows... they do go flat, but there's a lot of them. The bathroom door in our room didn't really shut well. It's nice to be in a bathroom that feels like the door is securely shut. Loss of a star for that combined with when we went down for breakfast, they said it would be 15 minutes until more red potatoes were ready. That seems kind of ridiculous when most people are getting up and going out for the day. Doesn't seem that hard to have some ready all the time. There wasn't much I was looking forward to this morning except those darn potatoes. That was a real letdown. Hot coffee all the time that's nice. They were supposed to have hors d'oeuvres and drinks Monday Tuesdays Wednesdays but they only had it on Wednesday. Also, they had the tv on CNN on daily. Yuck propaganda. It made me wonder if every location has it on CNN every day. That's a lot of hotels pushing a lot of mind thought. Note...The location itself is not even on the main road which is not their fault... But you have to go up a hill, pass another hotel to get to this hotel. Just a note in case you're looking for it. read more

My first time visiting this Hotel and the hospitality and service was very warm and inviting. The pool and rec room are kept very clean and well stocked. I noticed it was a busy night but that did not affect our stay and the woman at the front desk was very pleasant and sweet! Our room was very clean and comfortable! read more

Beds were very comfy.... love all the TV channels, hot breakfast in the morning. Only negative thing I have to say is 1 washer and 1 dryer for a hotel this size is NOT suitable for the hotel. Perfect stop over on a drive from NY to the Midwest. Rooms appear to be brand new/newly renovated with amenities perfect for travelers. My daughter loved a dip in the pool in the morning, and we loved the pack-and-play that was already in the room when we checked in. Zero stars was not an option. Management didn't think to get the cable subscription that includes the Stanley cup finals. We went to the SHIIIIIIITTTTTYYYYYYYY bar down the hill which was trying to be a strip club with a lounge style bar. All of the clueless proprietors had no clue that there was a big game on nor did they react when they were mobbed by fans demanding that they turn the hockey game on.
