This is an older hotel but was meticulously clean and upgraded nicely. Continental breakfast in the morning was great with juice and coffee. The hotel is located right off the PA turnpike with plenty of close restaurants. The best bed sheets I have ever slept on. I generally don't pick Choice hotels but we were so surprised how nice the hotel was. We would stay at this hotel again when in Bedford. read more

0/10. DO NOT STAY HERE THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY! My husband, myself, and our dog stopped here during our roadtrip to get some sleep. We stayed for 8 hours. We were charged $125 for the night and told we'd be charged $25 per fee after checking out. That seemed fair. The rooms were alright a the customer service was alright too. But we woke up, checked out, headed on our way and a few hours later we realized.... THEY CHARGED US 10 SEPARATE TIMES! OVER $800!!! This is not exaggerating at all! We tried calling right away and they kept forwarding our calls and got their third party phone number to answer and they kept directing us in circles and giving us numbers that didn't work. We called our bank to dispute and then called the hotel again, the hotel said all the charges are in "pending" so they won't go through. That doesn't matter, cus as of now the "pending" is still out of our account in the middle of a move and all because of their mistakes we are out $800 until God only knows when. Also $100 of those "pending charges" went through so as of now they still are going through. Also, they use a third party service to answer when they're busy and they don't use the same system either. I made my first reservation on the phone on my way there and when I got there , they had no info on me. What is the point of this other company answering for you if they don't do anything? The location is very convenient to highways, restaurants, fuel, etc. The staff is very friendly and quickly checked me in. The room was easy to find and inviting. The bed was comfortable, the TV worked great and had all the channels I needed - I appreciated the little card with all the channel numbers. The water was hot and the shower included shampoo and conditioner. I would stay here again. read more

We visit Bedford PA six or seven times a year. This was our first time (and will be the last time) we stayed at The Quality Inn. The first morning after stepping in the shower I found several long black hairs on the shower wall. We brought it to the attention of the staff at the front desk (showing pictures). We requested that our room be thoroughly cleaned while we were out. 12 hours later we returned to discover the shower still had the same hairs on the shower wall. This time the staff (including the manager on duty) was not very professional. We were told that 3 different people cleaned and inspected our bathroom. We were never offered to have the bathroom cleaned again or be moved to another room. We were treated like we planted the hairs to get our stay comped. I had to request that the bathroom be cleaned. The manager on duty did come down to our room clean the shower herself. Her explanation was that the hairs were coming from the cleaning brush. If this is true, that means the brush was also not cleaned very well. This is unacceptable. Also, if you are diabetic or on a low carb diet, the breakfast choices are slim. There was plenty of bread, bagels, muffins and waffles. However, no protein options or eggs. Bananas and apples were the only option. The only positive thing I can say is that Judy, the front desk person that checked us out, was very apologetic about our experience. However, this is not enough to change our mind about ever staying here again. read more

The night time front desk lady was very rude upon check in. Not to mention when calling before arrival to ask questions about parking our call kept going to voicemail. She had a very unpleasant attitude. Paid extra for poolside room but pool was unavailable and when I asked her about the money difference she kept cutting me off stating to go elsewhere if we didn't like it. The day staff is amazing nonetheless the lady in the day was very nice very informative and enthusiastic mostly the reason we decided on this place because of the customer service we received via phone. Good rates nice rooms. Horrible staff in the evening. I suggest going before she arrives because wow she was a total vibe kill. read more

This hotel is clean, updated and has a helpful, friendly staff. The pool is crystal clear and we were traveling on Father's Day, so there were not a lot of people staying. We had the pool all to ourselves! Hot breakfast with a lot of choices - which is great if you have picky eaters. We had a room with 2 queen size beds that were very comfortable, and they give you plenty of pillows. read more

We've stopped here a couple of times on our way east. This place is well worn for sure and in need of a rehab, but we found it clean enough, free of vermin and one of the few dog friendly motels in the area. Unless you have a pet, I'd go across the street to more modern and nicer places, but if your traveling with man's best friend, this place will do for the night. A word of warning, the "free" complimentary breakfast next door is not worth the effort or the time, you're way better off to get the #1 Egg McMuffin meal at the Mc in don's next door, really, it was that bad. read more

We love this hotel and always stop here en route from NY to KY. The staff is SO friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, fresh, and comfortable. Breakfast is a nice start to a day on the road. Stopped at this hotel on our way to New York.... We found this hotel on the AAA guide book. It was classified 3stars... I dont know why! A motel 6 is better than this place.... This place is so old and dirty that we almost didn't wanna touch the blankets. Everything is outdated, we got a room w a king size bed and and old green couch that really should be at the goodwill. The few pieces of furniture are crappy faux wood finish. I wanted to place a shirt to dry on the towel rack and I wiped it with a towel before placing it on it.... what came off that rod was so grimy, sticky and some shade of brown................. ( I almost pucked) Basically: Dont stay here, its gross Its overpriced go to any other motel around this area I sure they'll be better than here. read more

The Quality Inn used to be my family's favorite stop along the turnpike. It was one of the rare pet-friendly hotels that felt bright, clean, and cheery. They're still pet-friendly, but that's about all I can say for them these days. You get the impression that the tough economic times have him them particularly hard, and that's depressing. It doesn't help that the restaurant adjacent to the hotel went out of business- so your continental breakfast in its cavernous rooms feels like something out of The Shining. Depressing. I hope the place can turn it around (and it could probably use some of your money of you're so inclined to make a stop in Bedford). read more

Not bad....have stayed here many of nights on my way to Philadelphia and points east. Clean, quiet, but the rooms do need some updating. I appreciate the nice service that housekeeping and the front desk do. The paint is peeling in some of the rooms and the bathrooms could be caulked again. We could not have been more relieved to arrive at the Quality Inn in Bedford after our car broke down in the middle of the night, and we had to be towed from the PA turnpike. We had our dog with us, and we were not sure where we would be able to stay to get some sleep. Our tow truck driver dropped us off at the Quality Inn, which is pet friendly, clean, and comfy. Not to mention, we received a discount for being interstate travelers (versus weekend lodgers). The complimentary breakfast was sufficient, and they even let us have a late checkout time while my fiancé worked on the car at the local Auto Zone. We really lucked out by stumbling into the Quality Inn last night. We travel a lot and have stayed in all sorts of hotels--we were pleasantly surprised by the quality (no pun intended) of our room here. Thank you for the hospitality!! read more

I had originally booked a room at a different hotel a little further down the road, but they screwed up the reservation and only had smoking rooms available... But the Quality Inn saved the day! Very happy with this hotel. It is located in a busy section of Bedford, right off the turnpike, but was quiet. The room was very clean and a littler larger than most rooms of similar style at other hotels. My daughter especially liked that they had cookies out for arriving guests as well as hot coffee and cold juices. The pool was nice and located at the back of the hotel, where there was more privacy. My children commented that the water was very clean. The staff was wonderful-customer service is a priority. Breakfast was very good, hot, and located in the hotel unlike previous reviews. They had eggs, sausage, and hash browns in addition to usual continental breakfast fare. They had staff monitoring the items, putting out fresh foods as necessary. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Had to stay 2 nights and I would never did if I didn't have to. When I booked the hotel few months ago, they were doing remodeling and I was hoping that they would be done by now. Nope, and there is no sign of end of it. No breakfast room, no lobby, moldings are gone in the hallway, parts of the hallway are boarded up and nothing practicaly is done! Ok where to start. Place needs some work. Just came from a Hilton near Cleveland where we paid the same price and it was night and day. These rooms felt like dungeons. The room never got warm even though the heat never stopped running and the breakfast was disgusting. Couldnt even eat it. And who designs these showers? Im not even tall 5'11" and i have to duck to get under the shower head. I hate that. Thankfully i was only here overnight. Definitely wouldn't recommend. read more

I stayed here because they take pets but it was disgusting. First of all the room key did not work and when I went back to the desk the clerk acted like it was my fault. I was not aware that there were 2 doors as she didn't mention that to me. So she walked me over to the room and showed me the second door. I have a dog so I was in a "pet room". How disgusting. The place smelled like dog pee and the carpets had obvious pet stains. The room as $99 a night plus a $15 pet charge. If I am paying that much for a room I expect it to be clean. It was a dark dreary room The WIFI doesn't work unless you are in their office. All in all very disappointing and for sure I will not stay at Quality Inn again. And they advertise they are a Platinum winner. In what year? I am at a Drury Inn tonight the for same price and so much better accommodations. read more

Quality Inn (Choice Hotels) should be ashamed to have this hotel listed as one of their establishments. This place is overrated to say the least. After our experience at this place we will definitely be more wary of the name Quality Inn. If you are looking for a place to stay don't pick this place. Bedford Quality Inn is a tourist rip off. NO BREAKFAST and when we did get a breakfast it was cold. They now send you across the street to Subway of which the people at this hotel own. People just because it says Quality Inn doesn't mean it is quality. Be on high alert for future stays at any Quality Inn. read more
