I stayed her both going to Little Rock and returning a week later. The 1st night the tv did not work and the desk clerk could do nothing about it. The phone didn't wirk and the web site had no local number. No information about local restaurants or anything else. On our return trip we asked for another room. But neither the phone nor the tv worked. There was also a leak in the bathroom ceiling. We had to pack up and change rooms. The tv in the new room worked but not the phone. What really did it was that the shower control was so loose, we both almost burned ourselves when the water went from warm to very hot. I complained profusely, but nothing was done. No compensation or wven an apology. So yourself a favor. Stay away from .this place read more

The only reason they lost one star from me is because they ice and vending area was basically out of order. They also had a few things going on with the walls but other than that it was a very enjoyable stay from a long road trip. The staff had a great attitude and they smiled the entire time we were checking in because my daughter and I were super sleepy from our long trip from Texas. I have to say if they were having a bad night we wouldn't have known. The room was very nice and the sheets were clean. I loved the different pictures that they had around the room. The bathroom was clean as well and it made a long trip relaxing before we had to get on the road again the next morning. They also had a Continental Breakfast that was very good...You got to make mini waffles. They had an assortment of fruit, muffins, cereal, etc. This truly did help us get ready to get back on the road because we didn't have to stop for breakfast. If we are ever on a road trip again and need to stop I will definitely stop here again. As always.... Enjoy!!! read more

And I have stayed in some bad hotels over the years and the world. I have to say one of the worst. AC sucks, no breakfast, cable reception is horrible, hardly any volume. It took forever to get a room. And to top it off. It's a SMOKING room. I didn't know those still exist. We reserved the room on line. Two queens no smoking. We get all the way here finally. Then they tell us the only no smoking room is a twin??!? Once again, I didn't even think twin beds was a thing in hotels. This place has ruined me for quality in forever. read more

I guess you get what you pay for! We got to this motel and checked into the room. I have gotten into the habit of entering my room and doing a sanitation clean with spray and wipes before bringing everything in. This room was dirtier than most choice motels. But, I cleaned and stayed. I went to supper and returned. I turned on the TV and it did not work. I called the front desk and talked to the clerk who said there was nothing she could do tonight. The next morning I went to the breakfast area and found no coffee. I told the manager who just scoffed at me and never brought more coffee out. I informed the manger of the tv problem, all she said was she was not told about it. Find another place to stay even if you have to pay a bit more! read more

Before encountering Kamiya this was my review: If I can help someone, I pray this review will help you. I should have kept driving to the next available location, but against my better judgment and lack of rest after 12 hours of driving only to reach this location, I booked a room. My room was placed in front of a set of iron steps on the first floor. After 2 hours of settling in, i was greeted by 3 youngsters running up and down the stairs and bouncing a basketball in front of my door and on these iron drums they call stairs! And then a crew of loud guest that were next to me connected by adjoining doors was having their own private party. All of this amplified in my room. The one star rating isn't because of these children being children or the loud guest although they helped. it is because of the rude, nonchalant, non empathizing, "upset that I requested that my room be moved"- receptionist (Betty) that seemed to have had her peace disturbed from not doing anything --interrupted by asking her to do her job and accommodate a paying guest so that get a QUALITY rest. I understand this is not a five star hotel...but just some advisement to whoever trained this receptionist...a five star attitude will fill the parking lots and make this company more money. Bad attitudes will keep it empty on a half side of the building which is where she placed me. She gave me another room on the opposite side but it came with her only telling me the room number. No empathy at all only a bad attitude, face frowned and irritated, no words just, your room is...I continue to try to engage her and thank her for accommodating me as if she was doing me a favor! To see if she would show some type of empathy...NOTHING! If I didn't think that this woman would purposely disrupt my stay and sleep tonight...I would have been irate. But seeing that I got 8.5 more hours to drive to get to Southwest Detroit--imma keep it high level and keep this #AboveMe and go to sleep! And the room she moved me from 117-Nonsmoking wreaked of smokers--was not clean and to think I was willing to keep it because I didn't have the energy to fuss...but I will NOT have my sleep interrupted and I would not recommend this hotel!! I don't usually write reviews but after seeing the past reviews on this hotel --now I'm looking at things under a microscope--I'm flipping covers looking for bed bugs...ugh! Bad choice this time and this experience has taught me check reviews and consider what others are saying!! After Kamiya... I decided not to change my wording after encountering Kamiya but I did give more stars because her attitude was pleasant, she was accommodating, didn't feel bothered by assisting guest when we asked. She changed my perspective of this hotel this morning. I left with a smile. Check out was smooth. I shared with her my experience because she asked and listened and was empathetic...everything the last receptionist should've been. So my final review of this hotel would be...you take a gamble with customer service and your room. I did sleep well and peaceful after the move. Lastly, if I'm not comfortable with the customer service, I'm not going to be comfortable with my stay no matter how nice the room may/may not be. read more

I've stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions over the past 2 years and the hotel service has steadily declined. I still think it is a good value for the price paid so I gave it 3 stars but some of the problems I've encountered included nobody available at the front desk when I came to check in. I had to wander the hotel to find a staff member. On multiple occasions the ice machine was broken and no ice was available at the front desk. Once I checked in and the room they gave me stank so bad I had to request another room. But even with these problems I would still stay here again because the location is a good place for me stop on my travels. read more

Omg don't do it! Pass by and find a better place! Rooms are disgusting. The pierced, female, night shift desk person couldn't be bothered to get off her computer to get us an extra pillow. She said there are extras in the room, there wasn't. Dismissive and lazy. Rooms are filthy, hair, blood spots on mattresses, plastic under the sheets to prevent bed bugs? Not protective pads, plastic part like and it's dirty and noisy when you try and sleep. We slept a couple hours and left. We stay at this chain a lot and this is by far the worst one ever! read more

I give one star only because Room 204 wasn't properly cleaned upon checking in. One of the beds the flat sheet wasn't cleaned. There was like a spaghetti sauce stain. The toilet seat had some dried up yellow stains on it that appeared to be urine stains. The sink wasn't clean either. The microwave didn't work. read more

Stopped here for the night on a road trip from Chicago to New Orleans and dealt with professional staff at the front desk. Room was acceptable for the price. The next morning we found a bedbug in the sheets. Further searching turned up another half dozen. Management was understanding and apologetic. She stated that she didn't know about the infestation and refunded our money. However, the cleaning staff stated that there had been a previous complaint a few days prior. The room smelled musty with a nauseating sweetness. When I asked to swap, the front-desk clerk told me that all the rooms smelled the same. I called the national customer-service line, which in turn called the front desk. The clerk took me to a second (no-smoking) room. This one smelled like cigarettes. The third room was tolerable: stale, but not sickeningly so. I took it, ran the vent all night, and by morning it smelled OK. Other than that the hotel was fine for an exit-ramp budget chain: good wired Internet, comfortable bed, decent shower. But after a long day on the road, I don't want to be calling a national 800 number to get a room that didn't make me queasy. read more
