I agree with one of the other reviewers, maybe most people haven't been around a lot but this location is ok to me. I had thought from its proximity to town that it would be more congested than it actually was. It's located on quiet acreage with nothing else around, yet town is close enough for restaurants. The location is in a sketchy area. There is a run down motel parking lot that you have to go through to get to the Quality Inn parking lot. When I arrived in my room there were food chunks on the walls and a pair of dirty socks in the corner. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it. I've stayed here about 5-6 times and have always had good experiences. The walls can be a little thin....but it's not the Ritz.....if you can't figure that out when you're driving in you've got bigger issues. Despite the rundown motel out front (which always reminds me of the motels in "No Country for Old Men"....just waiting for Anton Chigurh to walk out of a room with a compressed air cylinder in hand) this place has never disappointed. Located just off the NJ TPK....which is nice. Plenty of nearby places to eat....Hightstown Bagel is a breakfast must. We drove up to this place - and it is in the back of a motel 6 - looking very much like a thriller movie where ppl would come out w the terminator! We r a family of 4- the motel 6 was definitely filled w shady characters. Come here if you want to film and have Gorden Ramsey tear it apart. We can't complain to the desk because the room phone does not work. There was a dirty towel on the bathroom floor which made the bathroom smell like old rag. The wall has strange looking smears - kinda of know why, I had to kill a baby roach. My 8 yo saw that, he would not be able to let me sleep. There was an unopened tampon on the foot of the bed. There is a large hole on the wall- size of a softball. I guess a rock band stayed here. An another one about the size of a handball next to the window. I hope they don't charge us for damaging their place!!!! I hope they don't have someone called Norman in the front. Hahha- I doubt that I fall asleep tonight!!! read more

When you first approach this hotel you'll see a run down, old, and boarded up brick place. This is not the Quality Inn. Drive through the somewhat creepy parking lot around this old, possibly abandoned, possibly still open hotel. The Quality Inn is located behind there. The check-in desk is friendly enough. They will give you the password to the wifi, which actually works pretty well. We were able to make a non-video Skype call over the wifi, so both speed and connectivity are good. The room itself is ok. We had a large king size bed, a chair to sit in, a safe, and a mini fridge in our room. The floor space was decent. The only complaint I really had was that the door was missing one of the interior locks. We didn't eat at the hotel in the morning, but they did have a complimentary breakfast. The bed was good and my only complaint was there were 4 tiny pillows on a huge king sized bed. The location was ok and whereas there was nothing per se wrong with the hotel, the location behind another decrepit hotel felt a little sketchy. They are pet friendly, which is a bonus. I'd suggest staying here if the price is right, if you need pet friendly in this area, or if you don't mind being tucked away. read more

Stayed here during a trip to Six Flags. It's about 18 miles from the park and reasonably priced, so it worked out well. As others have said, ignore the really shady looking motel you see when you pull in and go around back to where the Quality Inn is located. Everything seemed to be in good condition, and the room was clean and reasonably priced. Deep at the front desk was also EXTREMELY helpful and accommodating and helped me get a problem I was having with my travelocity booking resolved. I was really impressed with his willingness to help me out. Thanks, Deep! The continental breakfast the next morning was well-stocked with a decent selection as well, and checkout was a breeze. If I were in the area again, I would definitely stay here again. read more

You can tell this place used to be apart of the motel that is literally right in front. When you first arrive you're confused about where to go cause you see a big motel. The place is split into two different sections which can also be confusing. When you walk into the lobby you smell a weird odor. They sent us to the building in the back which has an even worse odor than the lobby in the first building. I get to my room and wreaks of cigarette mixed with some type of mold smell. I had left to go visit relatives in the area I come back and neither of my keys were working to open the downstairs door and my room!!! Awful !!! This place can seriously use an upgrade ASAP !!! We had the displeasure of staying at this motel for two nites and were very unhappy with the place. It is in great need of repairs both inside and out! The sidewalks were cracked and broken, the rug in the room was ripped and the room had the most horrid smell to it. There was about a 2 inch opening under the door to the outside which allowed bugs to come and go. The owners were very pleasant and the continental breakfast was typical of this particular named motel. It was hard to find as it is located behind what looks to be two closed down motels. read more

This place is not bad, except it's location is a little scary in my opinion. It is behind an old motel that is closed. Being off the street, and kind of dark, parking lot seemed a little ominous. Due to our pets, we had to stay in a ground floor room adjacent to parking lot and I didn't feel safe with my daughters. There are rooms on 2nd floor and those would be better. The room itself was clean and comfortable, WIFI very good. Bathroom was fine and coffee was good. The front desk staff seemed very professional. I think would be ok for a man traveling but don't recommend to women/children. read more

I took a Day stay at this hotel traveling back from vacation. Upon pulling up to the parking lot I almost had a heart attack. I thought the Quality Inn was run down with a truck stop in front. Turns out that it was another hotel that was very creepy and ghostly looking from out of a movie. With the quickness I turned on my reverse lights and sped outta there where I saw a sign in the back that said Quality Inn. Feeling stupid but more overjoyed I simply drove behind the lot to see Quality Inn hotel. When checking into the Inn a guy named Alpit similar to Armpit checked us in. He briefed us on the details of our stay gave us (my fiancée and I) 2 room key cards and also free breakfast complementary. Please check your room before entering. I noticed that one of the bed sheets had stains on it kinda like grape juice or like stained dried blood from a woman's period on the blanket. Yuck! Therefore I checked the other bed throughly saw no stains and slept peacefully. Their were cracks all around the room on the ceiling and walls hence, Overall the hotel is very quiet with no smokers smell and the Staff are friendly. read more

BEDBUGS! We arrived on 09/29 around 3pm and checked in. We stayed at this hotel because it was closest to six flags since we planned on doing fright fest friday and going back to six flags on saturday. We left the hotel room for the night, got back around 11pm and everything seemed fine. Upon first glance the hotel looked shitty but we figured "only for one night." My boyfriend woke up around 4am to something biting him. We turned on the lights to find not only one bed bug in the bed, but 2 more on the walls. We immediately packed our bags, and went to the front desk to advise them. Because we booked the reservation with hotels.com, they informed us we would have to get a refund through them. We then proceeded to bring all of our belongings to the dryer to ensure we did not bring any bedbugs home with us. I am currently speaking to hotels.com and they informed me that the hotel would only give 10% back. What was supposed to be a fun weekend, turned out to be hell. Don't stay at this hotel and don't book through hotels.com. read more

I see complaints on here about wrinkled shower curtains and other petty things. Yes, the hotel needs updating I agree with that. But the beds are comfy the pillows are plush the shower head is great, management is kind, and the continental breakfast is well kept up with, considering it is quite a busy breakfast. Bathrooms are nice, I had a mini- fridge and coffee pot, with coffees and teas, average sized flat screen tv as well. I wouldn't call this hotel run-down, like the motel in front of it, but if they don't update--and fast it will get that way. The ice machine is located in a completely different building along with snack and soda machine- that was a bit annoying, but do-able. For the price I paid I can't complain much...I would stay there again if I had too, although I'd probably find something different like a comfort inn perhaps. Good for 1-2 night stay. Slightly below average overall, but there are many positives that cancel out a lot of the negatives. read more

We stayed in this "hotel" for a total of two night because we had a wedding near by. From street view the hotel is no less than terrifying. Concealed from the road by a run down motet that looks like something out of a horror movie. It reflects what the "quality" inn feels like inside. Our room was large, but the carpets were damp and the entire place smelled of food. Tiles were missing or broken in the bathroom and to top it all off about an hour before check out we saw a RAT in our room. We notified management and they did little to rectify the situation. We were given a minuscule "discount." Clearly I would advise that you stay ANYWHERE but here. read more

As other reviewers have said, we were very skeptical upon arrival to pass by a very shady abandoned motel as we wound our way to the back of the parking lot where this hotel is located. The only reason for giving 2 stars instead of 1 is that the front desk attendant was extremely friendly when we checked in. He gave us our room keys and wifi password at around 11:30 am (we stopped in as soon as we arrived in town to confirm our reservation), long before the posted 3pm check-in time. Besides customer service, I have almost nothing positive to say about this experience. The rooms open directly onto the parking lot, which didn't leave me feeling particularly secure, not to mention the 1/2 inch gap under the door which didn't help at all with the problem of noise isolation. We heard everyone walking by and every truck starting up in the lot. The worst part was the walls being paper thin. I don't know what our upstairs neighbors were doing, but we heard every footstep and door slam as they tromped around the room long after midnight and again early in the morning. Thankfully we were in a corner room, otherwise I'm sure it would have been even worse. In terms of cleanliness, the bedding, carpet, and furniture seemed clean--although I was disgusted to find what appeared to be either earwax or boogers smeared on the wall next to the mirror. This hotel is only receiving a star because I have to give it something. My boyfriend and I checked in after a long night of driving. We typically never stay at hotels of this quality. Upon entering the room you could hear the floor creaking under our feet. There was also an unpleasant smell and the door wouldn't lock so we were forced to use the chain lock as our only means of security. I was freaking out! My boyfriend was tired and was trying to convince me to relax. So I grab a towel from the bathroom and place it on the bed so I could sit down. As I sit and scale the room I look in the corner and notice a pile of something in the corner of the room. From afar it appeared to be unraveling carpet. Unfortunately, that was not the case. It appeared to be the fecal matter of a rodent or animal (I uploaded the picture). OMG I was traumatized at this point!! We immediately checked out and will NEVER return! We stayed here only because we were desperate and there were no other rooms available anywhere. We actually canceled this rsvp for another place but ended up not being able to rsvp at a nicer place after all. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms have been redone. The sheets were clean. Smelled fine. And as far as the property I felt relatively safe. Some other reviewers had said it wasn't properly lit up at night, which it was. But the clientele are garbage here. They were scary. Hillbillies, foreigners, laborers. Just low quality. Loud, obnoxious, rude. They made me feel unsafe. The owners did nothing to help the situation. I would honestly never stay here again even if you paid me. They allowed me to switch rooms w my friend but I shouldn't have to move my room and feel unsafe when paying so much money. Don't bother trying to eat bfast here it's worse than a horde of the undead. You'll wait for 15 min in a hot muggy cafeteria for garbage food. read more
