Great quiet stay. Hallways a little beat up but rooms are pretty good. Stayed for 5 days for work, beds got a little uncomfortable, I am it wasn't my bed. This is now a Red Roof Plus Inn but I can tell you from personal experience, stay was Dec2023, nothing has changed. There is still questionable cleaning being done/my room smelled like a kennel. Hallway smelled like weed. Rude staff/when I told front desk staff about the smell in my room I was handed a cloth and some disinfectant to spray around the room myself. The parking lot is overgrown with weeds on it's perimeter and has trash blowing around it. As many previous guests mentioned, this motel was very close to their destinations and they made the best of a bad situation as did I. I attempted to discuss my concerns with management but was unsuccessful. I posted a comment on Travel Advisor once I returned home and then management posted untruthful comments to counter what I had experienced. I have no idea how this motel stays in business or how Red Roof corporate allows the management to treat it's guests so poorly. We are well past C-19 problems having to take what we could get when traveling (related to bad customer service). I have stayed in some wonderful Red Roof Inns across the country but this it without a doubt the worst. read more

I stayed here for two nights and was underwhelmed with this hotel. The old saying of you get what you pay for applies here, there is a reason you are getting a room for under a $100 a night. This is an older hotel that needs some attention paid to core property maintenance such as a fresh coat of pain in the rooms. The ceilings in the hotel are very low throughout but is very noticeable in the hallways and in the shower. The tub elevates you a couple of inches higher than the floor so you are almost touching the ceiling while you are taking your shower. I did not find anything to be extremely dirty or unsanitary. The staff were not overly friendly and did what was required to get you checked in. The breakfast was adequate and not unlike other free breakfasts at hotels. I ate at the hotel one morning, but the next morning I went to the Tic Toc Cafe a local diner and enjoyed a better breakfast. I think I will be finding a different alternative the next time I am in the area. read more

First and foremost, this should be half star but, unfortunately, the low of a rating is not an option. I made a reservation approximately 11 days ago under my name for my wife and daughter. On the day of the reservation, after 11 days had lapsed, I was told I could not reserve the room under my name for my wife and daughter. They then informed me I could not cancel the reservation, due to the nature of the reservation (to be clear, I was not recommending a change). After an hour and a half on the phone with Choice Hotels and the management staff at this hotel, they allowed me to cancel the reservation with no penalty (interesting choice of words when they failed to monitor their reservations until the afternoon of checkin) but I had to make the reservation through their hotel, at a rate of $15 more a night (from that of my original reservation), even though their online profile stated there should have only been an increase of $10 a night. Then, I had to sign and send a form to them, via unsecured email, with my credit card information, as I was using my credit card to make a reservation for my family, wherein I was not attending the hotel stay. Then, again over unsecured email, they required me to send a copy of my credit card (front and back) and drivers license (front and back). Tell me this doesn't sound hyper suspicious... I travel and stay in hotels around the globe, approximately 2 weeks a month, and never, ever have I had this type of uncompromising and unprecedented customer service engagement. Horrible experience! This hotel had a decent room which was very clean, aesthetically pleasing and it was comfortable. Hot breAkfast was included and coffee was available all day. Price was fair with our AAA discount. We needed a decent place to crash after spending the day at Dorney Park that wouldn't completely destroy my bank account. This hotel did the trick. I have two minor negatives: 1- it's stupidly difficult to find. Especially at night. Be forewarned that you will have yourselves either a good laugh or cry as you attempt to locate this phantom hotel. There is no direct road. This hotel is situated behind a shopping center. So you need to drive through the entrance of the shopping center in order to get there but there are ZERO signs indicating it's presence and nothing is lit up at night. There is also a fork in the road right after the mall entrance, so if you miss it, back on the highway you go Also, once you finally see it during the night time, you are tempted to drive directly through the shopping center parking lot, straight at it. But be careful because there is a sudden patch of grass and a little dip lol. You may end up catapulting yourself right into someone's room! You must drive towards the line of trees to find an actual driveway. This may seem like a silly statement. But trust me, in the dark your headlights are not enough to spell it all out. I've included pictures of it's location so you can be prepared. 2- once we found the place, it was almost 11:30. We check in and the girl behind the desk was really nice but she insists our reservation didn't exist. What?!?! After all that?!?! LOL Once I supplied her with our actual confirmation number she was able to pull it up. Thank god because I wasn't going back out there Anyway, two days later the charge posts to our account and it's $100 more than expected. So we call again and they explain that they hold $100 in case you smoke in the room and that we were only being billed the original price. So bring your reservation number and watch your bill. But that goes for anywhere of course. Inside, we were very satisfied. And relieved to not still be driving around...... read more

We stayed here on a trip up north to visit family and had a great experience. We got the Jacuzzi suite which I did not even realize the hotel offered but it has a large 2 person Jacuzzi tub in the room. We received excellent service and they even had towels in the shape of swans waiting for us when we returned on the bed. It was actually pretty romantic which sounds funny when you say you stayed at a Comfort Inn but I have never been to one like this nor stayed in a Jacuzzi room. We did not wake up in time to try the breakfast either morning but they did offer a free breakfast. Place was very clean, had free wifi and the staff seemed very friendly. I read all the online reviews on this hotel before made my reservation and I was a bit apprehensive. There were a lot of negative reviews but because of the price and location near my niece's school, Lafayette college, I decided to give it a try anyway. Once I arrived, the front desk clerk was very friendly. I explained to her that I seen a lot of negative reviews on this hotel and would like to see my room before I check in. She understood, gave me a key and I went to inspect my room (#307). Once I opened the door I was pleasantly surprised! The room was very clean (nothing like what I expected after reading reviews), king size bed was extremely comfortable, best sleep ever! Nice friendly staff.Stayed 2 nights for a Buick club meet. Average free(stress free) breakfast. Clean smallish sized rooms. Did not like the pillows. Wife said they were like marshmellows,I agree. Now the weird thing. This property is buried behind a strip mall and a closed restaurant. For the life of me I can't figure why it was built here. Better signage would also help. Staff and management should be checked & the facility should be cleaned way better ! The staff is extremely rude and racist! I was harassed out of my room & then accused of smoking. The whole hotel smells like smoke. The manager Nancy pretending to be housekeeping knocked on the door several times & had the front desk attendant call the room rushing us out! Once out the room Nancy rummaged through our outside trash bags left in the trash can of the hotel and found an old broken cigarette in the bag & used that to remove us from the hotel! She also tried to charge us for a 2nd day that I prepaid for although we did not use the room. I tried to explain our side and where the bag came from but she just wanted us gone at that. After reading and reviewing the site unfortunately I am not the only on that has been threw this . Also serval reviews and complaints on the site about the rooms already smelling of smoke & them trying to charge for it ! Overall, this hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Check-in was easy, although it is weird that they charge $100 extra to your card for incidentals. The charge did come off a few days later, but I have never had a hotel do that, even other Quality Inns. Comfortable and clean beds, noisy air conditioner, good breakfast. They have scrambled eggs and sausage in addition to typical continental breakfast. They also have good restaurants nearby. My children really wished they had a pool. The only negative would be that they have no entrance directly to this hotel. You have to drive into a strip mall parking lot, behind a restaurant, and then you get to the hotel, which can be very hard to find at night. Overall a good hotel that I would stay at again is I were in the area. read more

My husband and I needed a place to stay in my hometown due to the sudden death of my brother. My mother lives literally a block away and this hotel is very convenient. Because our plans were up in the air a bit due to her grieving and us figuring out how long we needed to stay, the first morning after our 2 night reservation we asked to extend a day. This was also after paying an additional night for early check in. You could say we would be ideal customers because, cha ching, we kept staying and paying! The first extension we asked for around 10AM. No problem, they needed a credit card and ID from me. The second day that we needed an extension, note I was sick as a dog and in the room, my husband first told housekeeping prior to 11 that we wanted to extend and then went out to talk to them about it at the front desk. Also, as I have said, we have been paying, barely eating breakfast there, being considerate to housekeeping (they rock by the way). Anyway, according to my husband the front desk worker was very demanding and gave him an attitude about just having to go me and/or get my ID and credit card. He did not call her names, raise his voice or was disparaging. This attitude was after the house keeper said, "No problem, take your time," referring to getting to the front desk. I have worked in customer service and I know sometimes you need to accept that the customer is going to be "off" certain days or they could be going through a emotion, and the front desk worker was very demanding after we had been very nice and paid for 4 nights! I believe at the point of saying to my husband, "You need to get the MATCHING ID and credit card now!" it was 11:15! I have stayed at countless hotels where you can just call and say, "Hey, can we extend?" "Sure, no problem!" Or she could have said, "If you want it in your name, can you book online?" Anything. But we were kicked out LITERALLY in the pouring rain. Completely unacceptable. I went out from the room and brought her what she needed, I immediately said, "I'm sorry, I'm sick, I slept in a bit," and she said, "My manager says you cannot stay here." She then told me that "this has happened twice," and I am thinking she just has issues with men because when I went up to her yesterday to extend prior to 11 it was no problem. If they had access to my credit card, they could have simply called me OR just incurred the fees of staying and not checking out. So why did she feel the need to create a fake argument with my husband over the basic booking process? I am currently going to try to reach Quality Inn corporate, Priceline, etc. Based on other reviews the manager has a horrible attitude towards paying customers. read more

Almost impossible to find. When I commented to the desk clerk she said well you should have booked through the Choice Hotels website. I said I'm a Gold Member and I did, didn't seem to matter. At the entrance the chairs in the lobby are absolutely filthy, and that's your first impression. I was not happy with the room. It appears they tried to include the choice hotel amenities, however I just couldn't get past the dingy carpet in the hall and room. I just couldn't bring myself to use the bathtub. Stayed here for 1 night, visiting my daughter at Lafayette College. Check in was relatively smooth and quick should've known it was a little to easy. Get to my room which was okay. No sooner than I put the room key down I get a alert from AMEX that there were multiple charges on my card for the same establishment. I was told at the front desk that there would be an extra hold of $100 for incidentals but when I check my bill there were two charges one for $100 and the other for $202.41. Mind you the room was only $93.00 for the night. Then the next morning AMEX alerts me to a 3rd charge of $102.41 which should be the original charge. All in all this hotel has accessed my card three times for a total of $404.82 for a room that only cost $93. Will not be staying here again. When I spoke to the person at the front desk his response was I don't know why that happened; sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. But the extra charges will eventually drop off. Eventually??? My husband and I booked two rooms for June 30th to July 1, 2018, as I was scheduled to be in the area for a business dinner. A few hours after checking in we realized there were no bath towels. When we called the front desk an ignorant girl named Mercedez answered the phone with a billigerent and indifferent attitude. She refused to look us up in the computer and told us that we would have to come to the front desk for towels as well as to bring down any soiled towels. We attempted to explain that we had no soiled towels as none were in the room upon our arrival. Mercedez was loud and obnoxious. We went to the front desk where Mercedez continued with her unprofessional attitude and became even more verbally abrasive. Moreover, her body language of raising her arms and pointing toward our faces was shocking as she is in a customer service position. At that point, I requested to speak to a manager and was told there was no manager on site. I requested that a manager be reached via phone. Mercedez allegedly made several calls to a manager who was "not picking up" their phone. Mercedez was still acting irate to the point where her co-worker had to put her in a room adjacent to the office, put a chair in front of her, and locked the door. I requested to leave to hotel and be charged for the time I spent there thus far. The other clerk stated that she would call the manager and took my cell number for a return call. I never received a phone call from the mamager. The next morning our toilet got stopped up. When we called the front desk we were advised that we would have to come to front desk to retrieve a plunger and plunge the toilet ourselves. Upon checkout I spoke with another clerk at the front desk who was unaware of the previous day's incident. She also took my name and cell number as I requested a return call from a manager. Tomorrow will make one week from the date of the incident and I still have not received a phone call. Very unprofessional. I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life. Please do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money somewhere else. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE. Entire hotel smells like cigarettes and mold. If you have no other choice, make sure they don't put you in room 412. It's the smallest room in the hotel, barely bigger than the bed itself. As a matter of fact, the same exact space on another floor is where they keep the ice machine! The room has no closet, no counter in the bathroom, one small mirror and there was hair all over the extremely tiny sink. The maid even admitted that the room is hard to clean because of its small size and awkward layout. Front desk staff were well meaning, but managers were snarky and rude. Treadmill broke down in the middle of my workout after only about 15 minutes. Was never able to connect to the Wi-fi. Because of the hotel's dishonest practice in not telling customers about the true features (or lack thereof) I was able to get a partial refund from the corporate office. This hotel was a monstrosity! The hallway carpets and room smelled like mildew and wet cigarettes. When inspecting the room apon arrival, there were food condiment packets under the table and there were light brown " coffee like" spots on the comforter. Apon checking out the staff refused to return my cash deposit of $100. Claiming that I had smoked in the room which was impossible due to the simple fact that I don't smoke! The GM was rude and had absolutely no people retention or grammar skills, claimed there was pieces of a cigarette on the bathroom floor, which again is not possible. And she also said that it smelled too much like hairspray and perfume which indicated that I was attempting to mask a smoke odor. My argument to her was that another posibility would be the fact that I use soap and perfume when I am getting ready during my morning regimen. The service is absolutely uneducated unprofessional and very rude, and the entire Hotel reeks of mildew and cigarette smoke so it's almost an impossibility to blame a single individual for smoking in their room. I am still very upset and contacting corporate in hopes that they will refund my money without a legal action. In the meantime I am posting on every review website and every local paper blog because I have heard that this is normal practice at the Quality Inn so that housekeeping can take patrons hard-earned cash. I was visiting my family in PA, and decided to visit this hotel since it was close by and the drive was convenient. Nonetheless, not only am I disgusted, I am extremely upset with the format that the staff treats their guest. My nephew urinated on the bed. I went downstairs before leaving this morning and requested if the room could be cleaned. The front desk girl said that everything will be handled, and to not worry. I returned at 11:05pm to a room that reeked urine and a soaked bed. I went downstairs and spoke with the front desk worker, Rebecca, I explained to her my situation and she rolled her eyes and walked away. She then returned and stated with a horrendous attitude the "MD said your requested to not have your room cleaned all three times she knocked." -How could I possibly request that if I wasn't there the whole day? -she then told me "You can take some new sheets and you can handle the situtaion by replacing the wet sheets." In addition, her coworker, Shawn, also chimed in to say that "there is nothing they could do, if we had any problems we could take the sheets and wait for a manager in the morning." -Therefore I had to change soaking wet sheets and sleep in room that smelled like urine. I would never recommended this establishment to anyone. I was shocked at how rude and nasty the workers were!!!! They gave away our room claiming "credit card didn't go through on reservation" and that they tried to call us...but there was no "missed call" or message on phone log...and credit card was working fine. Last thing you want to hear after a long road trip. Also, two other families were there and told the same thing (apparently their phones and credit cards weren't working either). Turned out it was just as well...place is impossible to find and looked grimy/sketchy. There are many much better options nearby. read more
