A few days before checking in, we stopped by and I was quoted 80.11 with taxes & fees after the aarp discount. Saturday am, I stopped in to reserve the room and asked if needed if I could leave my car in the parking. The front desk said it would be fine & could give me the keys right then. Saturday night...the shower curtain was gross. I called the front desk to bring a new one. Sunday morning, the complimentary breakfast left a lot to be desired. Eggs microwaved in a plastic bag, cold sausages, low quality OJ..I can say the waffles were good. A young man entered the dining room and announced he was going to be pulling food shortly. He then stood across the dining room, hands behind his back...(im sorry but it was like a short creepy lurch..the teen years vibe). Sunday night I needed to print something from the motel business center. The lady at the front desk gave me 2 non working passwords and did not know what else to do for this situation. I also had to ask her for towels. She said I could tells from by the hot tub. I was going to wait for her to bring the other items, but she said she had to lock up the lobby to do so. ( all the guest rooms are in a separate building). She told me to fill out the door card for the room to get serviced in the future..we filled out the card previously & it was ignored. I also had to ask her about the charges on my bill. Sunday am we extended 1 day. The message from my card company was $10 more than what I was told. She also told me she would not be able to talk to anyone who could address thos for 2 days. When she finally brought my towels she informed the 90.11 was the correct rate. We extended 2 more nights. Still had issues with the room being serviced and per my card I was being billed for 3 nights not 2. The same day my other half witnessed a drug deal in the hallway of the building where the guest rooms are. The ice machine the 1st night had black specks in te ice. The hot tub did appear clean. Although it says keep door closed, but it was propped open. Motel staff smokes cigarettes in very close proximity to the doors entering the building with guest rooms I went to the front desk again....to ask for towels, to sort out the bill & to notify they got a drug dealer working out of the motel. The lady did not seem to want to pass any info on about the drug deal, made it clear she cannot help with my bill, although the people who can are in from 7am-3pm. I work all day. So Thursday am I went to the lobby, asked about my bill. Had to explain again the amount being charge/held is for 7 days not 6. The bill also reads as if I owe $180. She said because it is in parenthesis, its a credit..Then I was i formed they are not going to agrees the discrepancies with the bill til I check out. Not once has housekeeping take out our trash ..I was also told by front desk staff, not to use the door cards, to call the front desk everyday to request the room be serviced.... I will not recomme d this motel to anyone. It i extremely likely I will Never stay here again. I am also going to be contacting choice motels. I have never stayed at a choice motel that was this low quality in all ways. read more

The Pros: *Large-ish spacious room. *Has (small) fitness room with free weights, weight bench, bike and elliptical machines. *Large hot tub. *Free breakfast *Friendly and helpful staff. *freeze dried fruit snack pouches at the check in counter was a nice touch after all the junk food on the road. The Cons: *it's in two different buildings. If you are in the rear building, you have to walk across the parking lot to get to the front desk, breakfast, pool and fitness center. *the beds were weirdly squishy. We stayed at the quality Inn this last weekend dates were November 28 and 29th 2025. we stay in Florence quite often as we have family in town. This was absolutely the cleanest friendliest place we've ever stayed in Florence. My husband ended up getting sick so we stayed in the room the whole time. Evan was so sweet. We called on him at least four times and every single time he was so friendly and helpful and just wonderfully pleasant. We will definitely stay here again. Also, I do not remember the ladies name that was at the front desk, but she was amazing so friendly and sweet. I wish I could remember her name. Thank you you we will be back. read more

Don't let the exterior fool you. The room was very clean, beds were amazingly comfortable as were the pillows. Staff was great.

We stayed at the Quality Inn in Florence this past weekend while our band was playing at The Casino. I was very pleased with our stay! The bed was so comfortable And the sheets felt like silk they were so soft! We ended up having a small plumbing issue in the bathroom. I couldn't believe only two minutes after I called the front desk, Nathaniel in housekeeping was there to take care of the problem! He not only fixed the problem, he totally cleaned the whole bathroom, left us extra towels and even folded the end of the toilet paper. Thank you Nathaniel! The breakfast was the best I've had in years. We travel a lot and most places have cereal and toast and call it breakfast. They did not skimp. They had eggs, sausage, waffles...a real breakt. And it was good. I will be staying there next to me I'm in town!! read more

My major complaint is that this hotel has NO elevator, so mobility-impaired or handicapped people BEWARE. Luggage must be hauled up a flight of stairs to the second floor. PROS: *Room was clean and spacious. King bed was comfortable. *Refrigerator is roomy and has a freezer box. *Bathroom is decent. Additional sink/counter/mirror OUTSIDE of the actual bathroom, so if someone is using the shower or toilet, you can still get ready. *Shower pressure was decent. CONS: *No elevator. *Outdated heating/cooling unit under window blows air up under the curtain, trapping the air so it doesn't go out into the room. Temp dial is hard to turn/adjust and is very touchy, going from too hot, to no heat, with barely any turn of the dial. *The unit also has no thermostat to regulate the temperature. It just constantly runs. *Bathroom door just BARELY clears the toilet bowl. *Tub & fixture is dated. *Refrigerator made a constant humming noise. Toilet didn't flush properly and multiple flushes were needed to clear waste. read more

Rooms are OK, staff is nice, but there is a dog barking her heart out (says no pets) non-stop, at 11 pm. Nobody at the desk, no operator, -- and it also says no smoking and somebody is having a joint, smells all over the hallway. Would be a good hotel but no staff on hand. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE 12/7/23 This hotel is absolutely disgusting. We couldnt even stay the night the room was NOT clean. Old black dust was all over the room so it was obvious it was not cleaned. It just is haggard looking. Walked barefoot on floor (no carpet) and my feet got filthy. The hair dryer didn't work and the electrical outlet used was sus. I had to listen to noisy refridgerator. Hallway and doors opening and closing are LOUD but it didn't keep me up so no biggie there. If you want a real calm experience don't get a room around doors. Front desk and maintenance staff are friendly and accomodating. Maintenance saw me struggling with key card and helped me. I was able to check in early by front desk staff calling me when ready. We booked here and within an hour had to book another hotel. The smell when we walked in was bad, I have asthma and within minutes of walking in my chest was filled. I could not stay here more than an hour and we left. Went and stayed somewhere else, the rooms here were dirty, they really need a make over badly. read more

The staff was decent. Room was very dirty like the only thing cleaned was the bedding and that I was even leery of. We traveled down from Newport for a night and there aren't many hotels to chose from in Florence. Choice hotels are supposed to be decent. The drains has reddish orange soap scum rings around them. I even cleaned one off cause it was so gross. The wall has brown stuff all over it by the side of my bed. The old wall heater was full of dust and crumbs, the bathroom floor was appalling. There was a listeriene mouth wash wrapper that wasn't ours on the ground, so many hairs and chip crumbs and some other blue wrapper. I wanted to complain but what would have been the point. I would defiantly be embarrassed if I were the manager. We stayed in room 209 FYI. And having a side job of where myself I clean a vacation rental I always take pics for proof and I know what clean is and this room was far from and definitely should have not had to pay for it. Terrible experience here. I was visiting on spring break with my girlfriend and the toilet was left uncleaned! We found not only pubes or ass hair on our toilet seat, but actual fecal matter! Absolutely unacceptable. Worst part? The hotel staff refused to refund? What a joke. Do not go here if you value your money and need a clean room to sleep in. Will be contacting corporate. read more

This has been the worst stay on the coast for my wife and my 4 year old. We checked in around 8:00, upon entering the room we noticed the severe stained carpets, urine smell, filthy bathroom with soap scum all over as if never cleaned. The room was filthy. I figured there had to be a mistake. I called the front desk and asked if the cleanliness of this room is the same as the rest of the hotel. His answer was yes. My fiancé and I just got to our room here and it's amazing. So comfy and cute. We're staying just the night for a getaway and it's so amazing. I got in the bed and now I don't wanna leave it very nice rooms here and very big for a hotel, they might be closer to average size though I don't stay in a hotel often. King size bed and it's so comfy. We have a queen at home and oh man I wish we could get a king size! Very spacious and everything. Only problem we had was when we got here our key didn't work for the room so I had to go back and she had to re key the card but it worked perfectly after! No complaints at all! I love it. Only bad thing was that they only gave us 1 roll of tp, it wasn't a full roll either. They didn't keep a whole lot stocked up in our room. read more

Stayed here two nights. Ask for a un upper room on the backside where here are trees out the window. As someone mentioned earlier, the AC didn't cool the room nor did the two inches of open window. Nevertheless, the staff was friendly and I couldn't really hear other guests. No need to pay more to stay anywhere else as this was fine for us. Took the room for the night. I checked in on yelp at front desk and it said I got a free bottle of water. Guess what no water! No big deal. Got wifi pass work and channel guide. Went out on town, didn't take anything to room. When we got back had to walk through a cloud of smoke to get to entrance. the allow smoking outside front doors. Took bag in and out to Jacuzzi, Jacuzzi room was 80 degree and water was 90. Really hot room, opened the window and still had to prop the door open to cool room down. Jets and bubbles didn't work, call front desk. (Another Yelp review a year before said jacuzzi was broken)Two people came out and couldn't fix it. We were so hot by then we left. Took shower, shower head doesn't move. The TV was old and didn't get great service. Wifi worked fine. Next morning by back was killing me, it was the bed. I cant blame the bed completely I have a sleep number at home and a few old back injury's. Breakfast and cold cereals, premade eggs, sausage, pastry's and waffle station. Wasn't the worst breakfast I had ever had. They keep it well stocked. Overall it not a bad hotel, I would stay there again. We were heading up the Oregon coast and decided to stop in beautiful Florence, OR to spend the night. We did some looking on yelp, etc and Comfort Inn came up. The rooms were nice and clean. There was plenty of parking and a breakfast is included. The only downside is that there is no elevator and that the stairs to the second level are on either end of the building. Just an FYI in case you have problems with stairs. I'm glad we stayed here and it felt pretty safe. read more

We found this to be a reasonable price hotel with clean rooms and the bed was OK - for a hotel bed. (No problems with the room, bed, etc.) The staff was very friendly and helpful. One issue was we were disappointed with the limited amount of TV channels. - Also when scanning the selections of channels - there are blank ones in between and the connection to the channel is slow - so a lot of time is wasted. We also did not care for the separation of the office from the main building and we were unable to close our drapes. Breakfast - while typical - was in a pleasant room and OK. I would recommend it for a reasonable priced hotel in Florence and we would stay again. read more

Have you ever stayed at a Comfort Inn? Well this one is just like every other one for the most part. Clean, quiet, and reasonably comfortable. Breakfast is OK. Hot food is pre fab eggs and sausage. Newest hotel in Florence. Quiet rooms that either offer view of parking lot or fence holding back the sand dune greenery. If you want killer views of the ocean, check out Driftwood Shores just up the road. There is only a small hot tub and work out room. No business center (just a desk where a future one is supposed to go). They do offer free WiFi and breakfast which is great. AAA discount rate for the off season was $80 for the night. Staff is great. Mother/Daughter team run the counter and the breakfast area. Tip: Ask which coffee pot has the strong stuff - one of them they double up the coffee to make it taste good (usually the middle pot), the other one has no flavor. read more

Friendly staff members, Johnny on the spot when something is needed ie: towels etc. Includes a small jacuzzi, small gym, but was always available while I was there. We're paying $130 per night (2 people) in a room with out cable, a fuzzy picture that cuts off peoples heads, looks out onto a chain link fence, on a busy strip mall hwy adjacent from a taco bell, and next to a KFC. The bathroom is old and in need of a remodel. (shower and tub) The Jacuzzi in the hotel is broken. They gave my boyfriend flack for asking for towels and toiletries. Our last night HBO went on the fritz. I couldn't hook up my computer to their cheep ass flat screen. No DVD player. So we've been stuck with 12 Shitty channels on a fuzzy screen at the end of the night. Scrabble time! err... i guess. There's a gaping hole in our lampshade... And truthfully.... if you look closely regardless of the sagging king sized bed that looks luscious with dense rough sheets. This room is a bit unclean. All paper and plastic cups... overly washed rough towels, generic soap and rough toilet paper. The reason I'm complaining is not because I need nor expect the best of everything. It's because we are over paying BIG TIME. This might be a "newer" hotel, but it feels reused, recycled (in a bad way), and again over priced. I know that this is peak season... but come on! I would of rather went camping!!! My boyfriend also booked three nights through hotels.com, which means that we can't get out of our reservation unless we dispute it with them. LIVE AND LEARN... live and learn. Plus side: BIG BED, HOT WATER, NICE SHOWER HEAD (despite the bad cocking, hints of old mold, and plastic tub), and the air conditioner works nicely. I am writing a review for the Quality Inn in Lewisburg, West Virginia. I just want to say that life has not been the easiest for me. But when I decided on a Sunday morning to take a trip to the shower, things began to look up. Sure, you've heard of 90 minutes in heaven, but they haven't experienced the holy flow that comes out of this shower head. The water pressure is similar to a juvenile silverback gorilla thrusting it's fists on its furry chest in the Amazon forest. Have you ever experienced Seaworld? That's okay, the water that this shower leaves behind is enough water to foster an entire family of Orcas. My life is better now. Nice hotel in scenic Florence, Oregon. I come here frequently for vacations. The front desk agent was very friendly and knowledgeable about local business. He recommended a BBQ restaurant on HWY 101 the Cactus BBQ and GRILL. GREAT FOOD!!!! I will be staying here again. read more

I travel a lot for work and this is my first time at a comfort inn. Bed was comfortable and the rooms were clean. Newer update to the property with flat screen, microwave, fridge. Wifi signal sucks and I could not get the tv to work. Not a bad choice for the money. read more

Do not reserve your room unless you are for sure going to be there because even if you cancel your reservation in the time they a lot for you to have "for cancellation " they will still charge you. My husband an I were going to stay in Florence but had never been to Bend as well so made both reservations and cancelled the one in Florence more than a month before the reservation time and they still charged us for both nights. And after calling and telling them that we had cancelled in the allotted time and we're still be charged they would only refund one of the nights. This all happening while we were on our first anniversary trip with a budget of course and they ended up ruining our trip. Don't reserve with this chain, period.
