RUN AWAY FROM THIS CAMPGROUND, FAST! We recently finished a six-month stay at a different Campground here in florence. Having no problem there, they only allowed 6 months of camping. We moved to Pacific Pines RV Park to continue camping until our house is finished being built. Immediately the ladies in management began to nitpick and gripe at us for things we had not done. In the first few days my wife was doing laundry and was aggressively approached by the manager stating that she had to be a camper there to use the machines. My wife told her that we had just moved in. She then began to tell her that she had to sign the sign up sheet. Again, my wife informed her that we did. These type of little nitpicky things continue to happen. We in our six weeks there received multiple two page, poorly written, letters to all the residence stating all the infractions everyone in the park was doing. Like walking their dogs in the wrong place, allowing their children to ride bikes and scooters incorrectly, improperly using the washers and dryers in the laundry room, putting trash in the wrong dumpster when both dumpster are for trash, or speeding too fast in the park. With each letter threats were made to kick people out of the park or to shut down facilities like bathrooms and showers or laundry room or all together the rec room. Management would follow you around as you drove through or walk through the park and would look for ways to correct or reprimand you. The final straw was being accused of speeding when I was looking at my speedometer and was below the stated speed. Which is 5 mph. When I informed them I wasn't, she began yelling and holding out all five fingers. These women in management there are narcissistic authoritarians. You cannot argue with them, because if they say it - it must be true. Otherwise they place you on probation and threaten to kick you out. You cannot argue with someone like that all you can do is report them to the owner or leave. We paid for our second month but we left 10 days early. We let go of our money and moved out for peace of mind. Management there will not allow you to relax or enjoy your stay because it's more about the rules. Finally, as we were leaving they were griping at the men in the park for using too much toilet paper in the bathroom, so their solution was to be passively aggressive and put an out of order sign on the men's restroom door. They have also removed all the picnic tables from each campsite due to people not using them the way they think they should. DO NOT STAY HERE, other campgrounds in town are much better. read more

This is a wonderful and pretty quiet RV park. They have a small rec room with puzzles, games, TV and a pool table. They have a few row of permanents but also spaces for people with reservations and possibly a few reserved for those without. You could not ask for a better staff of Amy and her daughter Sandy! They do an excellent job! They are very kind, sincere, accommodating, helpful and really go the extra mile to help you. The maintenance crew does a wonderful job keeping everything cleaned, tidied and trimmed. They have a sign up sheet for laundry so you have 3 washers & dryers at your disposal. There is a 2 hour time slot for yourself to get clothes done. I would highly recommend this wonderful RV Park. We stored our RV in front of the RV park for many years so it was wonderful to hook up and drive around the corner into the park. We have stayed there many years until we sold our RV last year. read more

We stayed here May 22, 2020 as a last minuet booking while driving up the coast on the 101 during a family road trip. It was a one night stay and we were not disappointed. The grounds are clean, as was the dog walk area. It was also well lit at night, so it made it easy to take the dogs out in the dark. The spots are cement and level with full hook ups. It is also in a great location for some sight seeing; such as Thor's Well and the Sea Lion Caves. Would recommend and will stay here again if we have the chance. read more

Easy check-in with a nice English fella. This is a basic park as far as landscaping and amenities. There are no views - we looked at the trash bin, dog park and storage garages. The interior roads and sites are concrete which is nice. Most sites looked pretty level. It's a bit tight maneuvering for larger rigs. If you are on the front row near the exit, it can be especially challenging. We barely fit our 45er in the site and had to park the car elsewhere. The sites are narrow, and we hugged up against a tree pulling in. We had to position carefully to get all 4 slides out, and we were still right up against a tree on the driver's side. Sites are close with a couple of trees between. Lots of cars parked all over the place since most sites are too short to fit both the RV and car. There is some street noise from 101 but the boat/RV storage area up front blocks some of it. That does not deter from the very loud diesel trucks in the campground and surrounding neighborhood. There are many long term renters that leave early in the morning. Also lots of dogs barking even in the middle of the night. WII FI either worked pretty well or not at all. Verizon was 4g 3 bars so we used our hot spots a lot. They have cable but we didn't try it and satellite seems possible in all sites. To use the laundry you must sign up for a 2 hour slot. Many people were taking advantage and showing up early or staying past their time. It costs $2.50 for the washer and $2 for the dryer. The bathhouse has 2 showers and 2 bathroom stalls and all appeared clean. The park is convenient to Florence, and there are some nice hikes nearby. read more

Our RV broke down in Florence. I called Amy at Pacific Pines and she was very helpful. She found a spot for us, we paid for one night. We did not know how long it would take to fix our RV but Amy assured us we could stay up to 5 nights if needed and pay day by day. She even went so far as to call a welder she knew to see if he could repair our RV. That is going above and beyond! read more

This is a very nice park. It's quiet, clean and the staff is very friendly ! Showers are available but we didn't use them. Laundry is all so available and reasonable ! The only thing that keeps it from a 5 star is the wifi is really spotty ! It may work for ten minutes an then not again for ten minutes ! Maddening to say the least ! I would recommend this park to friends. We stayed here in a motor home ! read more

Wonderful RV park! The grounds are kept well maintained, are mostly concrete but there are bushes/trees in between the sites. Most of the sites are pull throughs making it easy to get in and out and seem to all be fairly level. Brian or Amy greet you at the front desk and are so accommodating. There is a fenced dog exercise area on site with pea gravel, the only thing we missed for our pups was grass. The laundry, showers, bathroom was always spotless. Cable worked great, internet was fine in our site, I understand it depends upon the site but you can always bring your laptop in to the rec area if you need stronger signal. We would recommend this park to anyone for an overnighter or a longer stay. 5 stars! read more

Solid RV Park off of 101. We typically stay in RV Park Sutter More like campgrounds but we were desperate and found this place last minute. We were greeted by the owner over the phone who happily gave us the last spot and Wi-Fi code etc. we showed up about 7:00 p.m. and sound our spot. The landscaping is very nice, the rec room has a nice billiards table puzzles games poker table and even a sewing machine if you need to fix of pair of pants It is very quiet. My only complaint is that there's a lot of payment. If you're looking for a grassy area for your kids go somewhere else. read more

We stay here often and have never been disappointed in accommodations and service. We enjoy using the enclosed dog run for our furry members. We find it very secure, clean and convenient. Showers and laundry are great and they have coffee on early in members room....Highly recommend read more

At the risk of making this park too popular for me to get into again, I'll say that this is one of my favorite spots on the Oregon coast. The owners/managers are super friendly and the park is very well maintained. It's all concrete, which I love. No sand/dirt or that pesky, sticky crushed granite so many parks have. There are landscaped, gravel/divider cutouts between spaces and trees/large shrubs provide partial screening. There is some highway noise as it's just a block east of Highway 101 but nothing serious. I've been stopping here the past 5 years in a row and I always look forward to a return visit. The town of Florence is small and touristy but worth it. Old Town, the harbor frontage, the jetties, the sand dunes, and nearby Heceta Head Lighthouse and beach are not to be missed. read more

First stay here and found it very nice. Concrete driveways and landings. Some landscaping. The showers and recreation room are a "10". Sites are pretty level had to adjust mine minor. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Its located north of town across the street from Fred Myers. Plan on coming back again soon I hope. We stayed in a back in site. Very quiet at night time. For RV parks, this one is pretty choice. The staff is extremely helpful and understanding of the RV/road life. The showers and rec room were available all night, as needed. Otherwise the area was quiet and secluded for car camping. Overall, inexpensive as well. read more

Great friendly hosts, best showers in any RV park or hotel that I have ever stayed in.

Five stars for being as advertised. Extremely clean, spaces close together but separated by foliage, and friendly, helpful staff. This was a stop on our journey, not a destination. Hubs had a good round of golf at the spectacular Sandpines Golf Links. read more

My sister and myself and my nieces, checked in here over the July 4th weekend... It is a standard run of the mill RV park... lots of concrete.. unfortunately, I use a wheelchair, and the restrooms are far from handicap accessible... If I used the shower, the one other shower would have been blocked by my wheelchair... it was nice to have an end unit , as the park was full a few hours after we arrived. That is until the owner decided he could park an RV next to us where no space was, and jerry rig our hookup outlet with a splitter for the water....and another splitter for the cable... and hooking the other RV into the 30 amp, while we were hooked up in the 50 amp... I know for a fact this wasn't the RV'er's as the splitters remained after they left.. this happened twice in our four day stay, apparently, they are more interested in packing the park up like sardines... that way they make twice the amount on one hookup site... pretty vile...was very disappointed and have steered my friends on the way up the coast, from this place.... read more

I've been here for just over a month and I'm warming to Pacific Pines, in spite of it being too much asphalt and too dense. BUT!, the owner Brian and his efficient assistant Sandy are fabulous! They run a tight ship. The grounds, laundry and recreation room are always clean, neat and tidy. This team works hard to make their guests comfortable. We stopped in here for two nights with friends, traveling through the area. Really a clean park, the restroom and showers are the nicest I have ever seen. I don't always use the public showers but I did here. The park is kind of a large parking lot, but spotless and hookups are convenient and spaces we had were level. We will return when in this area. People were friendly and no problems at all. read more

They dont allow any bus conversion... even though we have put over 75,000 dollars in our bus conversion....we are not good enough for there park.....well i feel they are not good enough for us.... :-) read more
