    The room and hotel is greatly disappointing.The room is dark colors and  ugly completely differentt than the online pictuures.

    The room is greatly disappointing. The service in the lobby is poor and uncaring.The pictures on their site are really misleading. The room is dark and ugly. It is not a place I would want to stay. The room doesn't have lamps like their picture. It looks old and outdated

    Horrible experience at this hotel. The overall first impression was that the place is just dingy. That was an underestimate. My room was flat out dirty and run down. Corners were not vacuumed, carpet seams showing. The bathroom had a new tub liner and it was clear that some work had been done, but there were holes where the door transition and frame came together. When I pulled the shower curtain to take a shower a cockroach fell on me. Reaction at the front desk (after waiting for several minutes for him to get off his personal phone call) was "I'll let the maintenance guy know". Zero courtesy. It's not that I expect the front desk guy to actually do something, but a friendly word wouldn't have hurt. I am just disgusted. I am in the area every few weeks. I will not ever stay here again - ever!

    They lost two people's reservations. They assigned us the wrong room. One room had a broken a/c unit. Another had bugs. Never again.

Server at dinner was friendly, but food took over one hour with little apology or explanation. Food itself was way below expectations for standard cafe fare (pizza, sandwiches, salad). On another evening, bartender was borderline rude when asked if the bar had any chips, nuts, etc.: "No." - Workout accomodations also lacking for business hotel. Just four machines and one out of commission. Water dispenser empty. Jacuzzi colder than the pool. - On the upside, front desk staff was consistently cheerful and helpful - top 5% service.

The bar scene was great and offered us all an easy way to connect before and after the wedding festivities. On top of that, the rooms were large and well-stocked with everything you would need (iron, shampoo AND conditioner, shower cap, 2 kinds of soap, etc.), beds were comfortable and I even got a phone call 5 minutes after check-in from the front desk to see how the room was. The staff was friendly and helpful. Couldn't beat the price either- great AAA discount! Would stay here again in a heartbeat

The guy at the desk came upstairs, looked at the bug, brushed it away with his hand and told me it's not a bedbug, completely dismissing me....(though I googled photos of bedbugs and it's CLEARLY a bedbug). I told the guy I can't stay in that room . So, he handed me the card keys to another room... I had already returned the cart to the front and had 2 suitcases, a carry on, a case of water as well as some groceries and my cane (yes, I'm disabled). I told the guy It would take me 2 trips. He just turned and said, "That's ok, you can prop the door open and then close it when you're done" as he walked away (not even offering to get me the cart or help me in ANY way...). It was the WORST in customer service. I was brought up to treat everyone the same regardless what race, religion, etc, and to never judge a book by its cover ... This man, however very OBVIOUSLY had a low regard for me, though ....(whether it's because I'm a woman or pasty white, not sure??? ), but it was TERRIBLE....and there's no such as thing as "reverse" discrimination. It's discrimination, plain and simple and there's NO PLACE for ANY discrimination. I will call out discrimination when and where I see it every time.... I've called out discrimination against my black brothers and sisters, my Jewish brothers and sisters and Asian brothers and sisters when I have seen/heard it. There's just NO PLACE for ANY discrimination. If, by chance it was NOT discrimination, this man has a LOT to learn about customer service. I have family and friends in that area and will be back, however I will NOT be staying there again.... He needs to learn customer service...‍

Unauthorized credit card charges and unprofessional staff…read more The room wasn't horrible, but the overall experience with the hotel and staff has ensured I will NEVER return here. I stayed here for one night along an anniversary roadtrip with my boyfriend. When we arrived there, we were checked in by some guy in a Nike hoodie that could've easily been confused with another hotel guest. When it was finally our turn to check-in, I told him I booked through the Hopper app and gave him my license. He told me that I couldn't get a room because I was 19 and that they have a 21+ policy. I showed him on the app where we booked that their policy clearly states 18+ and he finally let us check-in after calling a manager. Unprofessional service and unclear on their policies. I provided my credit card for the $50 incidental hold. This is where things started to go really bad. The day after we left I noticed they charged an additional $71.22 to my card, so I called and they said it was a mistake that they double-charged because I booked through a third-party app. He said it would take a few days for the charge to reverse. Today I checked again and noticed that the original charge disappeared and that a NEW charge of $71.22 took its spot. I called again and he said he'd look into it. If today weren't a bank holiday I'd be on the phone right now disputing the charge. As I said, the room wasn't bad. The shower worked fine but the pipe was broken out of the wall. There was a very large cobweb in the corner of the room. The bedsheet had some minor rips in some spots and I'm so glad we brought our own blanket because the sheets were horribly uncomfortable. This hotel is dingy and run by some shady people. If it weren't for the credit card issues I wouldn't be so appalled, but this stress was NOT worth a one-night stay. I would've rather slept in my car for the night on our roadtrip to a nicer hotel in the Poconos. Please save yourself the trouble and stay away from this slimy place.
