No way to rate this place as is beyond disgusting. It makes me cringe to think that truckers would even stay here ridiculously filth, broken furniture, mold lights lamps without shades. One towel set per room even though there had two beds. Smoke alarm going off all night I don't even think there's a need to tell you what their breakfast bar looked like. not even fit for a cockroach to eat there. We were given the excuse that the hotel was under renovation and apologized, but there is no renovation going on here. This quality Inn should not be open for guests. Being confident that the owners of this building would never stay here. In fact, I wonder if they've even been here. You get what you pay for some would say. I say we got robbed. Nothing on the site mentioned renovations. Arrived after hours of driving and see no other cars in the parking lot but that is not always a bad thing. The light was flickering over the canopy like in a horror movie, but again these things are not always a bad thing. The lobby is clean looking, but there is an odor. Walk past trash on the stairs and landing to check out the room and nope. Water damage is obvious, and the smell of mold/mildew. The beds feel moist to the touch and the bathroom had obvious black mold on the walls. Dead bugs, dirt everywhere. I told my daughter to grab her things and start reservations down a few exits as we pack up and I go to turn in the key and request proof of checkout. Was not given any paperwork and was told I had to call Choice for a refund. Called them on the way to another hotel that was almost sold out, but got a room. So far I've been refunded only one day of my two-day stay which has been taken out of my account. I'm waiting for a call about why it was not fully refunded. Forget renovations and just level the place and start back over. read more

Stayed Saturday, June 10th 2023. Trash in the nightstand drawer, washcloth over the smoke detector, dirty looking towels, curtains hanging off.Pool was closed even though the website says it's open. I called about all these things and was told they don't have any other rooms. I called Choice Hotels customer service in the hope that they'd get me somewhere else to stay. Abut they couldn't. We couldn't afford a different hotel, so we decided to stay. A little while later, I scraped my ankle on something sticking out under the boxspring. Turned out to be rusty metal. Sunday morning, I called the office and spoke to Amy. She was kind and understanding, but couldn't do anything to help. She said the manager is very strict about refunds. I said that needing a tetanus shot from a motel stay is grounds for a refund. She agreed and said if the manager doesn't get me a refund, she will. Monday morning I called again. Amy answered and said the manager hadn't been in yet and to call in the afternoon. Called Monday afternoon and Hillary said the manager left a note saying that since we stayed the whole night, there would be no refund. Hillary was defensive and rude and wouldn't let me speak. Yes, she has no control, but part of her job is to listen, and she wouldn't do that. I kept my tone civil and didn't take my anger out on her. So far, as of Monday evening, I have no resolution. We'll see what happens tomorrow morning if Amy is working again. read more

Old and outdated but clean enough I suppose. No vent covers in the bathroom, the ceiling is peeling, the $100 flea market mattress leaves a lot to be desired, but the absolute worst thing, the white non light blocking curtains. Stayed here one night. it was cheaply priced so I did not expect much. Was asked to pay a deposit for incidentals of $100 which is ridiculous because this hotel couldn't get much worse. I have no idea how this place stills operates without getting shut down. From the filth. I guess if you need a cheap place to stay then it's ok for what it is. I am not one to leave reviews, but this room was so horrible I have to. Don't get me wrong, it could've been worse, but this is not worth the money. Our room was $100. The door latch was torn off the wall. There was trash under the cushion of the chair, the walls were disgusting. We went to wash our hands and dirt came out of the faucet, there was black mold everywhere, WiFi is horrible my phone wouldn't even connect to it, the pool was closed, on the plus side though, we weren't alone. I'm not gonna be as hard on this business as the other reviewers. I found the bed and pillows comfortable, and the bathroom facilities--including the shower pressure--to be fine. The room had a microwave and a small mini fridge. I didn't notice any fowl odors or pet and smoke smells in the unit. If you're on a budget, this place will meet your needs. If you are a very discerning person, you may want to look elsewhere. read more

This hotel is horrible. I am a choice hotels member and frequently stay in Quality Inns. This one was not in the best location but do to the last minute holiday reservation I had little choice. Sheets on the bed had blood. The bathtub was so slippery my daughter slipped. Strangely I was charged $150 security deposit instead of the regular $100. I was refunded only half of the security deposit and manager refused to answer numerous phone calls made. I do not recommend this location. The Indian gentleman in the front desk is a thief. Cleaning staff took the towels and it took them 8 hours to bring me a new set of towels. Bad neighborhood horrible experience. read more

The rooms reeked of a strong chemical smell as soon as you walk in. The beds also had a very musty odor to them as if the blankets were not changed or cleaned properly the carpet are heavily soiled I wouldn't advise walking barefoot. But the 1 star review is really for the broken Ac and lack of customer service and solution for any of these problems. Called front desk about some of these issues they told us they really couldn't do anything about it and to speak to the morning manager. Ok ? Spoke to the morning manager she gave us the run around and and told us she couldn't do anything about the Ac and funky smell gave us a number to call and make a complaint there. The house keeper also came into the room because we were having problems with our bathroom door. She also made reference to how hot our room was. I would highly recommend not staying here by any means necessary unless you really don't mind paying a high price for a crappy stay. read more

Checked in but was afraid to spend the night, so we left. Looked like a slum. Security cameras on the outside were all taped over. Phone in room was not actually hooked to a wall. People hanging around the parking lot seemed to be doing drug deals. Receptionist was very nice. However, I do not believe she was as shocked as she seemed when we reported why we were leaving. Due to the amount of cigarette butts in the parking lot the two rooms we attempted to stay in both smelled like smoke. Overall It was worse than horrible. Wish 0 stars were available. read more

One star is much to high of a rating for this hotel. I don't know where the pictures came from, but it isn't the hotel I went to. Filthy doesn't even come close to describe the hotel and room I was assigned to. The sheets were unwashed and filthy with dirt, hair and blood. The curtain was hanging off the window and the part that was hung, didn't go across the window. The fabric colored chair was too filthy to set on. There were coffee grounds in the coffee pot. The walls looked like someone shook up a soda and sprayed them. They were sticky and filthy. Did I mention how it smelled? It would take a long time to write how filthy the bathroom was and the condition it was in. I rented this room on Priceline and I'm very disappointed that they even offered this. The room was too filthy to sleep in. I reported this the the desk clerk who immediately cancelled my reservation. Quality Inn, Oakwood, GA - found NO QUALITY!! Front desk staff could not make a room key because of a problem with their machine; we went back three times to get that problem solved. Only one light next to the bed worked; 3 other lights have broken light bulbs. Refrigerator, microwave oven also did not work, the desk has a broken leg; we were afraid to use it. The bathroom was filthy and stinky: the toilet was unclean, the bathtub had soap scum, grime, and stubborn stains. Hair dryer only worked on "LOW", or it quits. There were two large towels, we went to the front desk for towels and they could not find any. The hallways were stacked full of used-broken furniture and appliances; It was hideous and depressing to walk thru these halls. When we check out, I told the manager about the broken items in the room and unclean condition; he was upset and defensive. We stayed in Quality Inn before in other locations, this is the worst!!! We will not give them business any more. read more

Probably the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The first room I was given was still dirty and smelled really bad. The second room smelled just as bad. The toilet was dirty, the shower tub and bathroom floor had red stains on it. The grounds of the hotel were dirty and there was litter everywhere. The male at the front desk stated to be the manager his name is Peter and the woman at the desk also name is Mary. My fiancé made reservations on May 3rd for 3 nights, which totaled to be 238.44. We slept there on May 3rd and left for work at 6:30 in the morning. Peter canceled our reservation, when we went to get back into our room after work peter told us there was no reservation under the name "Martin" we then showed the reservation confirmation email which apparently was not pulling anything up on their system. I told Peter and Mary that if they could not get us into a room then we needed to be refunded the remaining amount we have already paid for since there was no reason for our reservation to be canceled anyways, minus the night we stayed obviously. We had our 5 year old daughter in the vehicle waiting for a room to become available, and she was getting irritated and tired so I asked the house keeping lady how many rooms were available right now and her response was "all of the rooms on the other side of the building are cleaned and vacant". I went to tell Peter at the front desk that there were in fact rooms available when he said none had been cleaned yet. I told Peter I wanted to forget about staying this particular location and i just wanted a refund at this point. When I confronted Peter about giving us a refund, Peters response was "No, Bye" he repeated himself 2 times just saying "no bye". He refused to give us a refund, a room key. I am not sure what can be done about this, but the behavior and the way these individuals were acting and responding was absolutely inappropriate, and in my field of work I would NEVER even think to speak to customers the way he spoke to me and my fiancé today, very unprofessional and rude. I would be EMBARRASSED to have them working for my company. I have contacted Patrick Pacious myself and I am hoping his team with get rid of the problem!!!! read more
