If I could leave negative stars, I would. DEPLORABLE. DISGUSTING. To start, there was trash everywhere outside. Old broken chairs, garbage, food, alcohol bottles, and a variety of "sharp" objects littered the grounds. The interior was somewhat better, nothing special, but at least it appeared to be picked up. When given our room key, we went up to our room only to see someone sitting on the lounge chair with his feet on the bed playing on his phone. We both started each other and he apologized profusely, so we thought it was a room the staff was using and we asked for another room. We were told the hotel was booked full. With that, we waited for the room to be cleaned. The room appeared dusty, so we purchased some Lysol to do a wipe down. Surprise! The bathroom floor was sticky. I wiped down the shower which was caked in dirt, soap scum, and a white chalky substance reminiscent of male DNA deposits. From there, I tackled the small black hairs decorating the crevices of the tub, and moved to the toilet seat to get the yellow droplets from the rim. Then, I began to wipe the sticky droplets from the floor, only to find the massive urinal (see below). The little brown things on the mattresses, believed to be bed bug related, was enough. We ran. To add to our delight? We were told no refunds (call Expedia). Guess what? Expedia says the manager at the hotel has to authorize the refund. In other words, a misrepresentation by the desk manager. We reserved (throuth Priceline) a King room for 2 nights with a hot tub and a sitting area with a couch, along with the usual items found in a hotel room. When we arrived at the hotel, the desk clerk refused to honor our reservation. He said that particular room cost much more than what we paid. I showed him my itinerary which listed all the amenities of the room. He said that was just an ad of what they have to offer, not the room we booked. That is bull! I called Priceline who called the hotel but got no answer. They also sent an email which got mo answer. Same thing the next day. No answer. They will not compensate us for not holding up their end of the bargain. Not a good place to stay. They don't treat their guests very well. read more

We stayed over night after a wedding. The room was clean, the bedding was clean. I didn't see the staff much but what I saw they were very nice. There was a decent breakfast offered. Overall this hotel is not bad, especially for the price. I would definitely stay here again. read more

I stayed here for a week. Although the place is not the best, it was enough for the price. Bedsheets and mattress were rough on the edges but service was prompt. My room was clean when I checked in and I didn't have enough issues in the entirety of my stay. They clean the rooms every 2 days from what I've seen. I've had issues with the card not working sometimes but they're quick to resolve it. Overall a good experience. read more

My main gripe was the continental breakfast. Went out at 8 & there was nothing left. No staff to alert about this either. Both days we opted to get breakfast elsewhere. Quality might not be their middle name....but it is their first, that's gotta count for something. I needed a place to stay during my brief time in the Wisconsin Dells, and since I checked so last minute all nearby options were booked solid. Thankfully these guys had vacancies. I've stayed at Quality Inns before and they're more or less on the same level as a LaQuintas or Ramadas. Good for people on a budget without being too sketchy (cough Days Inn cough). They had an indoor pool and hot tub, continental breakfast, comfy beds and a nice-ish lobby area. Check in went pretty smoothly, although the lone staff member wasn't terribly nice. I will say that the jacuzzi felt GREAT after a long day of driving, coaster-ing, and being outside. Unfortunately Nurse Ratchet (the same grouchy desk clerk) came by at 10pm sharp to kick everyone out of the water. Bah humbug! Room was spacious, had a mini fridge, microwave, TV, free soaps, all the typical hotel accoutrement. The entry light didn't work for some unknown reason, so I had fun fumbling around trying to find the next working lightswitch. Beds were comfy (I tried 'em both). Once I finally got the wi-fi up and running I was able to connect to the internet and began writing this review, as Bad Santa played on HBO in the background. Breakfast the next morning was your pretty basic, no-frills setup. Some powdered egg nonsense, cereal, yogurt, and the obligatory waffle maker. It's not the deluxe spread you'd find at the Embassy Suites, but it was good enough for me. Check out took longer than I'd have liked, and when I asked for printed directions back to the Dells, the clerk had some difficulty in obliging my request. She was much nicer than the warden-esque person the day before. This place is a decent hotel, one that I'd stay at again if I couldn't manage to snag a room at the Wilderness or Kalahari. The reviews for this place are all conflicting, I usually don't post reviews but I felt like I should share my experience to hopefully clear up some of the conflict. I was on a trip for business, and stopped at a few places before picking one. The guest agent was kind enough to show me the room I would be staying in before I made my decision. The staff and management are all extremely friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed in appeared newly remodeled and so did part of the lobby area. The bed was super comfortable and I had a great time outside of the millions of meetings I had! The hot tub was nice, too. This rating is for customer service and all of the excuses a person can use to deem it not there fault. Booked online with booking.com and they claimed they never received it as they claimed they always have trouble with this and other booking sites. All that shows is this hotel is inept in many ways and seem to not care about where they get reservations. Charged us more than what was booked, and no refund nor had any of our reservations. This place is run by don't care attitude people. Reedsburg hotels in general are all a 1 out of 10 in rating and Misti at quality inn does not know about customer service or how things looks and it showed now twice for me. Just an unkept grounds type of place. Would recommend everyone to book into Wisconsin Dells and drive from there. This place simply put, is terrible! read more

Room is dumpy and out of date. Duvet has stuffing coming out of it. The bedspread has stains. I could hear someone snoring in the room next door all night. Sounded like people stomping around upstairs most of the night. It's an older hotel and as not been updated. It needs some serious TLC. It was one night for us and only $78 so fine but I wouldn't stay here again without some remodeling. read more

I travel for work and stayed in this hotel for about a week. First impressions is that it is pleasant, and the man that checked me in (I think was the owner) was nice. I should have asked, but I was not given/told my nightly price per room, which was more than what it said on Hotels.com; I found this out when I checked out, but I won't blame them because that was probably on me to ask. My average price per night was in the $90 range, which is more than I usually spend when I travel for work. Beds/Room: I had been booked to a 2 double bed room, which was plenty spacious. The beds were comfy, with 4 pillows each. Typical hotel accommodations; Decent sized flat screen TV, ice cold mini fridge, microwave, small coffee maker, hair dryer, little soaps- the usual. For those that are staying a little longer there is a nice dresser to put your clothes into, which I love to do when I have to stay for more than a few days. The heater/AC had a thermostat on the wall. I had used AC most of the time and it wasn't overly loud. When the heat would turn on, it would smell kind of burnt, but I would assume it would be because it hadn't run much at all over the summer months. Bathroom was separated with the sink outside the room, with the toilet and tub/shower in the lockable room. The shower head is great (I'm super picky about that). I never ran out of hot water, but that usually isn't a problem at hotels. Staff was especially courteous, respected the do not disturb sign, and if I would leave or come in to my room while they were making their rounds and I had the sign up, they would ask and make sure I didn't need anything! Additional Information: There are plenty of fast food restaurants near the hotel, and even a Culver's practically in the same parking lot, which I walked over to several times. Although I never went there, due to work, Wisconsin Dells is just 15 minutes from the hotel. Parking was plentiful, and the spots were nice and large (I drive a super long pickup for work and sometimes have to park really far away if spots are tight, which was not the case for this lot.) The hotel does have a pool and breakfast, but I did not use either of these accommodations so I won't comment on these. Overall: I think the hotel is worth what you pay for it as long as that's not over the $95 range. If it's over this for the weekend or holidays, make sure you price compare. read more

I would never stay here again, our rooms were not clean stains in carpet dust every where. Plastic bag tied to drain pipe under sink, exhaust fan in bathroom hung an inch and half from the ceiling and very loud. Paint and part of the dry wall missing in the shower. Shower curtain had black mold on the bottom of if. Thats why I take pictures of hotel rooms the minute I enter the room. Also keep a close eye on your credit card charges. read more

The price was a little high for my taste but it was the only place that was open the day after the 4 of July and not requiring a two stay minimum. Our room was very clean and we enjoyed the jacuzzi. The King size bed was amazing and had very soft pillows. We had the pool and hot tub all to ourselves. Breakfast was small choices but still good food. All in all I would go back for sure. read more

I have stayed hete for sevetal years but recently new management took over. Now the rooms are poorly maintained and dirty. The manager's family is noisier than any of the guests. We had the misfortune of getting the room directly below the manager's apartment where they moved furniture, walked with heavy steps and dropped things on the floor long into the evening. No respect for guests. Avoid this hotel. read more

This hotel operator needs to understand the importance of cleaning and maintenance. The Quality Inn franchise really ought to do a better job of reviewing its franchisees in small towns such as this. Both rooms we rented contained leftover items from the previous customers, including a used washcloth, used towels, and some trash. Secondly, both rooms had "Maintenance Required" signals flashing on their thermostats. One of our rooms was 80 degrees upon entry, and took 2 hours to finally achieve a thermostat setting of 72 degrees. Our other room was 87 degrees on entry, and never cooled further with an HVAC unit that cycled between hot and only-slightly cool air. We eventually requested (and received) a room change for that one. Pool room was rather dirty and unkempt. Regular pool water was ice cold. The hot tub water was obviously overrun with sweat - with the water appearing a salty "gray" color, and creating a 6 to 8 inches of foamy "suds" when the jets were run. No thanks. Finally, with a nearly full house, there was just one poor woman behind the front desk attempting to not only check people in, but also respond to all sorts of needs and problems reported by the guests. While she performed truly valiantly, I found it to be insultingly insensitive to the needs of your guests to overload just one employee with all duties from checkin/out to cleaning/maintenance requests, with an apparent interest to save money on payroll. The proprietor himself should have at least been available during this busy time. Not impressed, and wouldn't stay here again. read more

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel! I found many reviews stating an experience simialar to mine. My bridesmaids and I stayed here the night b4 my wedding (07/14/17) and needed our sleep b/c we had to be up at 5am. When we got to our room there was vomit down the side of the bed. We also found a white powder like substance in the corner on the carpet. It was very obvious the room had not been cleaned. Who knows what was on the sheets! Other reviews I found stated there was feces in the room, unclean sheets on the bed, untidy bathroom, and other such incidences when they checked into the room. This was disgusting and when I asked for my money back the manager flat out refused. He said he had switched our room, so had we not gotten any sleep? Had we not gotten a hot shower? We did, but in the new room we found a dog toy under the bed. This made it obvious that the new room had also not been cleaned. Overall the hotel was extremely disgusting and uncleanly. Under no circumstances should anyone ever book a room here! I'm calling the Health inspector right away!! read more

Try your best to stay elsewhere. Worst experience ever and the price for what you get is insane. We entered the room and the fire alarm was hanging from the ceiling . Call the front desk. The rollaway bed we requested was not in the room. When it arrived it had blanket but no sheets. Call the front desk. We heard weird sounds coming from bathroom but ignored (bad idea ) . The shower broke after 2 of 4 people showered. It stuck on blazing hot water and would not turn off. It rapidly became a steam room. Call the front desk. Sorry , we can't fix it. Pillows were gross and lumpy. Overall the staff was pleasant but poorly prepared to handle the level repairs needed. The pool was a dump and with only one waffle maker (with most people in line making 3 or more waffles per person ) the "free" breakfast is paid for with your time we waited 30+ minuets for breakfast (if u wanted a waffle which my kids did ). THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! My family reserved a hotel within your corporation Quality Inn Reedsburg, WI. The stay was to be 2 rooms for one night and 1 room for the second night. We go to check out of our 2nd room to find out that supposedly I had reserved that room. The General Manager at this hotel argued with me to no end. Finally I let it go and ended up selling that room to ones of my family members to get my money back. We go to the wedding that we were in town for and the GM stops us to inform us that we have to check into our 3rd room. My father-in-law went down to the desk and was able to get that rooms dropped. We checked out of BOTH rooms Sunday morning and left. As we were leaving the GM proceeds to tell us that he hopes he never sees us again. I checked my bank acct this morning to find I have now been charged for 3 rooms at 2 nights each for a total nearing $460. I called the hotel they say the charge does not exist so nothing they can do nor is their a Manager to talk to. I call corporate and they don't even apologize or anything and proceed to tell me there is nothing they can do either because it is a franchise hotel that we stayed at and only that GM can help us. So needless to say I, the customer (which I also am a General Manager of a Franchise Business) end up paying for rooms I wasn't suppose to have and not a single person can apologize for it or even attempt to make this right. We had a lot of family stay at this hotel this past weekend with a lot of complaints and vows of never going back. So now at this point my entire family will never stay at another Choice Hotel ever!!!!! I wish there was a way to rate you Corporation but even at this point if there was I don't think I could even give them a single star.
