The carpets felt damp and the rooms were noticeably humid, which made the overall environment less comfortable. While the hotel itself was reasonably clean, it's clear that people are smoking inside, and the property could benefit from better air filtration or moisture control in the rooms. On a positive note, the continental breakfast was much nicer than expected, offering a full hot breakfast rather than just the basics. Overall, I don't feel the stay was worth the rate I paid. He was friendly, personable, welcoming, and shared some great information about local places to eat dinner. The included breakfast was mediocre. There should have been some fresh selections, considering the cost of the rooms. The breakfast hostess was also very welcoming and helpful. Their employees really made our stay wonderful. However, I would caution you about their ACCESSIBLE rooms. They are NOT for those of us who are physically disabled. They would not probably not work for many "senior citizens" either. We booked an " accessible" room with two queen beds. The beds were impossibly high to climb into. I am pretty mobile and access was terrible. If you were in a wheelchair, it would have been impossible. The toilet seat was about 8 inches off the floor. My athletic travel companion struggled to use it because it was too low to get off of. Again, if you have limited physical strength or use a wheelchair, these rooms are NOT ACCESSIBLE. I think the Hampton Inn should be more honest in their advertisement of available rooms for the differently able.
