He took the time to understand what we were hoping for, had great design ideas, and was incredibly patient and flexible as we made changes throughout the project. The end result turned out even better than we imagined, and you can tell he really cares about the quality of his work. We're so happy with how everything came together and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a landscaping team that's talented, easy to work with, and takes pride in what they do.

Purchased 3 Piñon Pine trees a couple years ago from FRL&N. One of the trees died this spring. I…read moredrove to FRL&N today to inquiry about the dead tree knowing I was beyond their 1-year warranty so not expecting their help on that front but mostly trying to gain knowledge. I was asked by one of the employees if I wanted to buy another tree to which I responded that I wasn't sure. At this point the owner (Hubert) entered the conversation and explained that these are hearty trees that thrive in the deserts of New Mexico. After a few questions he told me "if you want to talk, then take a walk. If you want a tree then see me". After confirming that he said to take a walk I expressed that is a heck of an attitude to which he told me the F-off and then threatened to "put a boot up my a**". I have never experienced any such negative attitudes from any employees I have interacted with in the past but this owner really should not be the face of this business. FRL&N is not a low cost source of landscape trees and I am sorry that I spent $3k+ on this trip of pinon pines. As for me, FRL&N will never see another dime from me and I hope no one else ever experiences the rude treatment I received today.

I replaced a large part of my lawn with xeriscaping and was looking for several plants to layout a beautiful pollinator friendly, drought resistant landscape with three seasons of colors. Debra was very knowledgeable and so helpful as she took me around to pick out a perfect selection of plants (three carts worth). They are all planted now and look beautiful! This is my new garden center!

My first time time there, everyone smiled and greeted you and offered help even though they were busy filling orders! The staff was very knowledgeable and enjoyed offering recommendations. They took a lot of time to show me and answered all of my questions. I was impressed with the amazing customer service I receive every time I am there. They have a large selection of trees and shrubs. The flowers and other plants are priced just right and I end up buying more. I have over 30 plants and 2 trees from them over the 3 years and everyone plant is thriving in my yard. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and they also offer a full year warranty, but I doubt you will ever use it since the quality is there without you paying more than other places! A very nice lady called to tell me that they had tomatoes in stock and would be open till 6 pm unless the weather was bad. I decided to drive down there and they did have some tomato varieties and the prices weren't bad at all. $22 for 3 nice sized tomato plant. The same young lady that called me, checked out my order. So I'm changing my review.

The place is MASSIVE!! Lots going on everywhere. TONS of plants and there are even random fake plants which was funny to me for some reason! Basically now I know where I can get a replacement plant for whatever plant just died in my apartment! They have a wide and abundant variety of indoor and outdoor plants! They also have a boutique selection of retail merch which was interesting to browse and it also seemed like there was a farmers market and freezer section! It's a great place to go if you need a floral break and need to immerse yourself in colorful petals and greenery! The staff was super friendly and I really loved seeing so many plants that I had really never seen before! The giant cacti were also really cool - something I would save my pennies for! I understand this is a large garden center and the staff fields a lot of questions daily, but that's no excuse for the treatment I received. When I asked for help, I was met with eye rolls, dismissive attitudes, and responses that felt rushed and unhelpful. The rudeness was hard to miss and made what should have been an enjoyable Sunday errand feel like an ordeal. I want to support local businesses, and I had high hopes for this place given its reputation. But basic customer respect shouldn't be too much to ask. I left feeling unwelcome and honestly a bit deflated. I hope management takes staff attitude seriously -- it can make or break a customer's experience.
