Rooms were pretty basic, but included mini fridge/freezer and a microwave which was a nice touch. The shower had great water pressure and was hot, but I noticed mold on the shower curtains. Wifi worked fine. The continental breakfast was disappointing, including bananas, cereal, and a couple of stale looking muffins. I had to go find the lady who was working for coffee but she was very nice about it. Overpriced for what it is, but I'd stay here for location, that's about it.

Our nightstand drawer had 2 empty tobacco containers, dried tobacco, and used floss pics. When we complained, the room we were offered to change to wreaked of 20 year old cigarette smoke and there was no fridge or microwave. The next day we spoke with someone else who said, "sorry, no refund - but we can move you". Both the manager (Pam) and the other clerk were rude and disrespectful!! Needless to say, I will not be going back or recommending this place to anyone! The sad part is, I am the easy one to make happy! OH! AND!! the wifi is awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a pleasant experience! We were visiting with family and decided to do an afternoon on the…read morelake. We called and made reservations in advance for a pontoon boat rental. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were very happy that our small dog was allowed to join us. The staff shared with us that they allow dogs on tritoons, canoes, some stand-up paddleboards, the fishing boat, and select pontoons. Arrangements should be made in advance, especially pontoon rentals, so plan accordingly. The day came, and we checked in for our reservation. We were kindly greeted and given the rundown and took care of the paperwork. Afterward, we looked around the marina main office at the souvenir goodies provided such as t-shirts, mugs, stickers, and a few locally made items displayed. They also have items like sunscreen, snacks, and sandals available to purchase. A restroom on the outer of the building is provided, so take advantage before boarding your boat rental. The pontoon boat we rented ($180 for four hours on a weekday) was practically brand new and perfectly maintained. It was very clean and had a nice setup. The staff provided a map of the lake along with some tips on where to find the rope swings and the islands you could park at. If you visit the islands, be aware there's red dirt. Be sure to clean your feet before boarding the boat again to avoid any cleaning fee after you bring the boat back to the marina. We had a great experience that made repeat customers out of us. Beautiful, clean, and quiet lake, friendly and helpful staff, tip top boat rental with affordable pricing, AND dog friendly- great all around, and we highly recommend.

A group of 12 of us stayed at Cabin #15 for one night. This was a very basic, 12-person cabin. It…read morewas worth the price we paid for it: about $30 per person, with a $200 deposit. The cabin had a small kitchen, dining room, living room and den, 1.5 baths, 4 bedrooms, and 2 lofts. The bedrooms and lofts had a mixture of twin beds and double beds. The only way to get up to the lofts was via wooden ladders. The cabin was old and creaky. In the middle of the night, it's hard to move around the cabin without waking anyone up. The furniture was kind of old too, but it served its purpose. The beds were firm and the pillows weren't much of pillows at all (very flat). Probably the most surprising thing about the cabin was that it had a small mounted TV hooked up to DirecTV. College football, FTW! Amenity-wise, the only thing provided were bath towels and some disposable cups at the sink. No soap or shampoo. It seemed we had enough towels, but not everyone took a shower. Kitchen-wise, the cooking utensils, plates, and silverware were not enough for 12 people, so we had to make due with what we had. Outside, we were next to the marina and lake. We had a small shore and dock all to ourselves so that was nice. We went swimming in the lake, which was pretty clean. There was also a fire pit. We went to the nearby convenience store and picked up some firewood and a fire starter kit and made smores at night. The driveway was gravel and roundabout. Overall, the cabin was clean and in adequate condition. It was bare bones, but certainly a fair value.

I feel sorry for anyone that gives them their credit card information. they riddle it and you can't stop them. The place is very substandard. It's just an upscale motel 6 but hit your credit card $160 a night was your rate, and look at the photo I attached they've charged me almost $800 and they've not stopped I'm a United States Marine Corps veteran been fighting cancer for 17 years I was on my way to the mayo clinic and I needed to stop, and I stopped at this hotel 160 a night. I'm a season traveler that gets you a suite and separate bathroom this place has neither, very small room pictures are 100% tricky my room look nothing like this. Nothingnot even close I could not sleep on the bed. I was gonna stay e tend my stay, but I could not sleep on the bed. It is wore out it does not support your body right ask for another room in it. You have would think I was asking to talk to Donald Trump anyways don't be fooled by their photos. They do not mimic their rooms. No way not even come close. That is what I base my decision on when I decided to stay there only to find out after they got my mone lit's tricky and they're even advertising 120 a night rate but when you get there, it's almost 170 and my case was $800 for one night I just checked out and went next-door Holiday Inn express seeing how they want to be like these brand-name quality hotels incredible. I figured I'd give them business alot of tricky and. scamming I wonder how they're gonna respond to this. I'm sure it will be pretty lame and textbook excuse but entertaining. I'm still trying to see what this magnolia farms connection is why they're cross marketing it but this hotel is destroying their brand also so they may want to take a step back and look at that. Onward!

What kind of management is this?
