Our decision was made based on Gale who provided me with great customer service by answering my questions and concerns with such professionalism and patience. She had someone at our house within the hour to assess the situation at hand. That, someone, was Kenny. He assessed the situation and advised us that someone will contact us with a price. I honestly thought the leaks we had from our bathroom through the kitchen ceiling (already made holes in our ceiling) were going to cost us both our arms and legs. Gale called us back with a very reasonable and fair price for the work to be done. Which was to find the leaks, repair them and replace both our toilet and vanity. We agreed on the set price and scheduled for work to start the next day. Kenny showed up bright and early and on time with a mask on. He wore it at all times. He did all the purchases of materials needed, breakdown, repairs, and installations. What I was most worried about was the mess that I would have to deal with afterward. There was nothing much for us to do but to sweep a second time, wipe down, and mop because he cleaned up after himself, took out all the garbage, and took everything with him. That's including the old toilet and vanity plus the boxes the new ones came in. We were so impressed by that because the other companies told us we would be responsible for all of that. After the work was done, he advised us to call in immediately if we saw or heard any leaks. The only call I had to make was a "Thank you" one. I don't know about anyone else but from beginning to the end it was an amazing experience and a job very well done! We highly recommend their services to all and anyone we know! He pinpointed exactly where the problem areas are in the shower and outlined carefully and methodically what needs to be done to fix it. He was super polite, professional and friendly. He seems like a very honest and kind person to work with. He explained that I'm better off hiring a contractor to fix the actual shower base and threshold. He also took time to review other issues that I am concerned with, regarding the plumbing work done in that particular bathroom, and he behaved in a very patient and kind manner looking carefully at each area of concern. I wish I had met him when I first did this renovation! But at least now I can tell that he is a guy worth connecting my friends and neighbors to if one ever needs to hire a competent and honest plumber.

This business is located in Brooklyn and willing to travel outside of Brooklyn for a plumbing job. After viewing and explaining the problem of a continuous leak under the bathroom sink causing the cabinet to rot and the faucet also leaks excessive water the plumbing parts was changed from plastic to solid metal and a new faucet replaced. The job was done correctly and finally, no more annoying continuous leaks. They also physically shown the parts removed that caused the leak and what type of material the previous contractors used vs. Hirsch Plumbing's replacement parts for longevity and durability. The two plumbers stated they are unionized licensed plumbers and must accept the job regardless the level of difficulty. As a current member of a international labor union, myself, I fully understand the benefits as it band workers together. We had previously contacted a local Queens licensed residential plumber who blatantly refused the job and advised my family to apply caulking around the faucet which obviously did not work. We believed they refused the job due to either laziness, willfully refuse to be agile to remove replace damaged pipes and plumbing parts under the bathroom sink. However, Hirsh Plumbing is, surely, not afraid to be agile leading to publicly display the plumber's crack. Price is steep but you get what you paid for.

When a person is paying $40 a month X 12 months X 18 yrs. one would expect some type of consideration when a claim is submitted. On Jan. 2, I woke up to a busted water heater. I contacted this company and an order number was given to me. The company then contacted a plumbing company to evaluate the situation. A plumber came the following day and evaluated by writing a report. He accepted my $100 deductible. It was his determination that a water heater should be replaced. One is never told that it's guaranteed to be replaced, the insurance company makes a determination. Going on day 3, I was informed by the afternoon that the new water heater was approved. I then contacted the plumber's office and was told that they would not get the heater until Monday. This was Friday. However, the heater would not be installed until "maybe" Wednesday. That would be one week without hot water and heat.. I explained that I was disabled but they did not do anything to try and service on an emergency basis. I contacted Pal Mar Plumbing and the heater was purchased that very day and installed the following day. Yes I had to pay, but when there exists a home warranty contract for so long, one would think that the service part of it would be expedited especially in the case of disability and being a senior. Thanks to the professionalism and kind consieration of Mr. Vito Palmieri and his company, I was able to get heat and hot water back within 24 hours. I am completely amazed at the expertise of work that is performed by every one of his workers who, by the way, are all young. This is to the credit of the owner. People, please be aware of these home warranty contracts because they do not guarantee standing by what they claim to do when they sell their product.
