We went into Smoke 'Em Out Window Tinting to see about getting those two windows tinted in the same shade as the back ones so that all the side windows would look the same. It was really important to us that the front windows and the rear windows matched perfectly. We talked to John Phegley, Smoke 'Em Out's owner, and discussed our options. He was upfront and honest about the fact that he could get things pretty close, but because of the particular shading that Toyota uses on it's 4Runners, he'd be unable to get things to match perfectly. He could have easily just done what so many other places would have done and installed the tint he had and hope for the best, that we'd be satisfied with it, but he didn't. He turned us away. He wanted us to be happy and he knew, that given our needs, that he couldn't do what we wanted him to do. My wife and I came away deeply impressed by Mr. Phegley's honesty and integrity. He's an old school perfectionist who will not settle for a substandard job. He'll either do it perfectly, or he won't do it at all. This is a refreshing attitude in this day and age. Smoke "Em Out Window Tinting is a small local business run by an honest, ethical, hardworking guy. We recommend him for all your auto tinting needs. UPDATE: 04/10/17 We're starting to see some blemishes/flaws in a couple of different places on the side windows. We also discovered some scratches on the plastic trim by the rear window. This company removes the windows to tint them so that you don't see the line where the tint stops and this area was apparently damaged during the installation process.

So I came in for a interior detailing for my 2010 Cadillac CTS , baby on her last legs, but…read moreeverything electrical and engine wise worked great, my heater and ac worked , my radio had no problems , I came to pick up my car and they had already left for a mobile cleaning so I paid my invoice got my keys from the lock box and opened my car to a BEAUTIFULLY SPOTLESS car I ain't ever seen it look this good. I was SOOOO HAPPY AND excited to finally do something like this for myself and have a nice clean car, until I tried to use my Defrosters and heater and nothing is working, radio buttons make the heater turn on and off now, none of my radio or heater buttons do anything they are suppose to. I immediately try to troubleshoot and when I realize it's no good I message back Alex and let them know immediately, asking if this is normal. No reply yet , but I hope they will understand paying 450 for my car to be cleaned and it come out damaged even if it is older is not what a 5 star detailing services would do. Hopefully they will issue a partial refund so I can now go pay to fix my electronics . I will recording my cars now in the condition before and after any car service to a sound this in the future . Great detailing but there were multiple soaking wet surfaces where they just soaked it in cleaner with little care about how it seeps into the electric components. Update: will be going back in in Friday to have them completely dry out the interior and hopefully fully dry behind the button panels! Thank you guys for caring!

I wanted to know how much the repair would cost if I paid cash before deciding whether to file an insurance claim. Barb, the manager, did not seem interested in giving me an estimate and immediately asked whether I had insurance. I said yes, but explained that I still wanted an idea of the cost first. She replied that the window had to be fixed no matter what, which was my first frustration. Barb then brought out sticky plastic and began covering the broken window. Afterward, I gave her my insurance information, and she scheduled me for 8:00 Monday morning, which she said was the earliest available appointment. I also gave her my phone number, not realizing I would receive six messages from Safelite. The first message said to arrive 10 minutes early, while the others appeared to be reminders and promotional messages, so I dismissed them. Barb told me the repair would take about 90 minutes and that I could wait in the waiting room. However, several other people also seemed to be scheduled for 8:00 that morning, and my car did not go into the shop until 9:30. The repair itself took about 45 minutes. Barb also said they would vacuum up all the glass and clean everything so it looked as if nothing had happened. When I got my car back, there was still glass throughout the interior and sticky plastic tape on the outside of the car. I had to buy rubbing alcohol to remove the tape from the paint and vacuum the remaining glass myself. I still do not know whether they vacuumed inside the door or if glass remains at the bottom. As the repair was nearly finished, I approached Barb to ask whether there was any paperwork to sign before leaving. Before I could ask, she said, "What do you want?" I was frustrated by how unprofessional and impolite the interaction felt, but I simply asked whether I needed to sign anything. She said the technician would hand me the keys and I was free to go.
