I went to Safelite AutoGlass to get an estimate because my front passenger-side window had been shattered. I wanted to know how much the repair would cost if I paid cash before deciding whether to file an insurance claim. Barb, the manager, did not seem interested in giving me an estimate and immediately asked whether I had insurance. I said yes, but explained that I still wanted an idea of the cost first. She replied that the window had to be fixed no matter what, which was my first frustration. Barb then brought out sticky plastic and began covering the broken window. Afterward, I gave her my insurance information, and she scheduled me for 8:00 Monday morning, which she said was the earliest available appointment. I also gave her my phone number, not realizing I would receive six messages from Safelite. The first message said to arrive 10 minutes early, while the others appeared to be reminders and promotional messages, so I dismissed them. Barb told me the repair would take about 90 minutes and that I could wait in the waiting room. However, several other people also seemed to be scheduled for 8:00 that morning, and my car did not go into the shop until 9:30. The repair itself took about 45 minutes. Barb also said they would vacuum up all the glass and clean everything so it looked as if nothing had happened. When I got my car back, there was still glass throughout the interior and sticky plastic tape on the outside of the car. I had to buy rubbing alcohol to remove the tape from the paint and vacuum the remaining glass myself. I still do not know whether they vacuumed inside the door or if glass remains at the bottom. As the repair was nearly finished, I approached Barb to ask whether there was any paperwork to sign before leaving. Before I could ask, she said, "What do you want?" I was frustrated by how unprofessional and impolite the interaction felt, but I simply asked whether I needed to sign anything. She said the technician would hand me the keys and I was free to go. read more

Very small chip with tiny tentacles and I did not clean the windshield prior to service (over my 35 years of driving I've had chips repaired many times and they always washed the windshield before and after service). That was a mistake. There was no indication any cleaning on the outside of the windshield near the crack was done at all and the result looks like dust / dirt was pushed into the resin and now the repaired chip is now a very dark spot in the middle of the windshield. Also the tiny tentacles are now 3 times longer than before (online glass professionals state that DIY people and some professionals do not suck all the air out of the crack and then the air trapped inside makes the crack larger). If going here, you should thoroughly clean the area and use compressed air to blow out any dust or glass fragments and put clear tape over it to keep it clean; also, remind them to suck all the air out prior to injecting the resin. I had a second scheduled for repair in 3 days at this location but I changed the location to drive to the next nearest Safelite 55 miles away to try and have a better result (this other vehicle's chip is much larger so mistakes will be even more noticeable). I plan to thoroughly clean my windshield prior to driving there and again in their parking lot and put tape over it. I will explain to the workers how to not take off the tape until immediately prior to putting on the suction cup and make sure to remind them to FULLY pull out all air prior to injecting the resin or the trapped air will sparkle afterwards. I know we shouldn't have to learn how to do things and teach the "trained" people, but so is our society. : ) read more

I am a USAA veteran covered for 9+ yes. Recommended Sequim safelite. I had a dime sized rock chip, so i scheduled the chip repair. Customer before me had similar issue. The tech cracked his windshield and said sorry this can happen. I pulled my truck in and within 2 minutes I was told your windshield cracked all the too. I think its a scam to get full windshield fees instead of just chip repair. I complained to Safelite and to USAA and both just said sorry, your deductible is 250.00 for full replacement. Keep your chips until it cracks all the way then replace. Not using Safelite again. Considering new insurance co too. read more

They did a great job... fast service... friendly staff. Just wish they had a bigger waiting area as we came over from Whidbey Island so leaving the car off and doing something else while waiting wasn't an option. read more

Our car developed a huge crack on the windshield & I called Safelite. They got me in quickly and did an excellent job. As it's a newer car they had to recalibrate the forward camera which is located in the rear view mirror. I found both the price for the windshield & recalibration costs to be very reasonable. Hopefully I don't need them again but if i do I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Highly recommend! read more

The worst customer service I've ever dealt with in my life... One of the employees was screaming at the other one that he was an F ing F up at the top of his lungs from the office in front of me and another woman that was sitting in the waiting area, that was after he told me that he couldn't get me in for my appointment because I was two hours late and the text I had on my phone said 930. I was there at 9:30. He said I should've been there at 7:30 and he couldn't get me in I'd have to reschedule. if you have a choice, don't go here. read more
