I went to quantum clinic for the first time a couple days ago. The location is secluded and the atmosphere is serine. The guided meditation was a nice touch and I loved how private the float experience was. My partner and I had our own room and the float tank was sizable. If you don't want to get your hair wet I recommend bringing your own swimming caps the ones provided didn't work that well. But I enjoyed the experience as a whole and I look forward to going back in the future! read more

Quantum has become a lifesaver for me. I've been dealing with a lot of grief and loss this year. The floats, the work with the in-house LCSW and breath works classes with Tiff have become a crucial part of my healing. I'm able to process big feelings at QC which prepare me for sessions with my therapist. I needed this so badly because accessing trauma and grief is difficult for me, I clam up to protect myself. Adding the services of QC to my self care routine has made the difficult work I'm doing much easier. I'm forever grateful to everyone at Quantum Clinic. I went here for the first time today to see if floatation would help with my migraine's. It was an interesting experience. The staff are nice and gave me a tour and explained everything really well. The place is very clean and well laid out. First time trying it took a bit of getting used to. I'm sure if I went back I would be better prepared. It was relaxing and a neat sensation of floating. It's not claustrophobic as the tanks are more like big rooms. read more

Really enjoyed the space and personal check-in with a clinician, love the tank size, appreciated the post-float artistic expression lounge very much and may need to get a sand table for my apartment! Things I wish I knew before going--as you drive down the non-thru street, it won't be immediately clear where you can park or where in the building the spa is. I parked on the street, but there were two lots that it would have been ok to park in. Quantum is at the back of parking lot right next to the salon. One suggestion I have as a sensory-particular person is to create different music tracks you can click through instead of just 3 volume settings--the high tones are lovely but the bass tones were too mechanical/jarring for me. I was fine once I turned the music off and drifted off in the quiet. read more

The BEST float place in LA! I've been to a few others and none can even compare as far as facility, vibes, and staff. Everyone who works here is so kind, the customer service is always great, and the clinicians are skilled. I love the brief meditation that precedes the float experience, it always helps you get in the right mindset. The rooms and float tanks are beautiful, the frequency component is so nice and I love the stars on the ceiling of the float tank. As an incoming first time customer, I was excited to do a couples session with my wife. Unfortunately, just prior to our appt we had an emergency and weren't able to make the appt in time. I called and said that I needed to reschedule - and I was told that I could reschedule. However, when calling to reschedule I was told that our first appointment was charged in full and that we would have to pay again. It's very odd to me that a company who's mission being "Your Serenity Is Our Mission" is fully comfortable providing an extremely poor experience for a first time customer. I completely understand that a company has a policy, but I don't understand being unable to be welcoming to a new customer, especially someone who would've liked to come back again. My advice is for them to actually live their mission and not just write it on the website. read more

This past Saturday was my first experience at Quantum Clinic. Easy parking and located on the LA river. The space is beautiful and I was greeted/checked in warmly by the staff. The biofeedback-driven coherence meditation was a lovely induction into the Deluxe Floatation REST + Frequency Therapy. The pods are LUX, best I have ever experienced (the room includes a personal shower as well). I loved the starry setting, felt like I was floating in outer space, magical! Following the float, there is a neat curated space to hydrate, sip tea, journal, color, sandtray therapy (super cool collection of figures/objects), clay therapy...fun and creative modalities for further reflection and integration :) I felt peaceful, loving, confident, and connected following my float and continue to feel positive effects. It was evident that the owner/staff were intentional about creating a space/experience that embodies both science and art and values mind/body/soul wellness and oneness. Additionally, as a clinical therapist, it led to further reflection on integrative wellness/my own professional path. I spoke to Jimmy following my float, he had great energy! The first time I made an appointment, I was thinking about doing a float but was scared that I'd be claustrophobic in the tank. I really didn't know what to expect or what the experience would really look like. I came for a sound bath meditation event and afterwards they gave us a tour of the facility. I'm really grateful they did that because I was able to get a look at the tanks and see that it was bigger than I thought it would be. I think even if you're on the fence about booking a tank and wanted to see for yourself, I'm confident the team would more than happy to show you the sizes if you showed up in person. I have found all the employees there to be very helpful. Also, there are a few spots reserved in the parking lot all the way to the right (there are designated signs), I've gone in the evenings and have never had an issue finding a spot. If for some reason it was full, street parking is also pretty simple. I usually can make an appointment same-day. You pay for part of it when you make the reservation and the rest in person. I always book the luxury one and I go alone. I also love the meditation they do with you before the tank experience. The guy who has lead the meditation each time I there is SO good at it. I feel like I'm always chaotically stress and whenever he leads the meditation I'm able to finally relax. I find it incredibly helpful. I personally feel that it's best to arrive in comfy clothes that'll be easy for you to get back on if you're still a little moist (everyone's favorite word) after the float. I think it's also best if you wear sandals and bring a hair brush and scrunchie if you have long hair. I forgot the brush and scrunchie today and it wasn't the end of the world, but I feel like it just makes life easier for long-hair girlies. The room they put you in feels like a hotel bathroom with everything already laid out for you. They have vitamin D for your lips, ear plugs (I recommend putting them in!), towels, makeup remover, tissues, and shower essentials. They recommend a shower in there before and after the float. Also, to maximize your experience, I recommend turning off the lights in the room itself before you go in the tank. That way when you turn the lights off in the tank as well, you won't see the rim of light around the door. But I will add if you're scared of being claustrophobic having that light around the door may be a source of comfort for you, so do whatever is best! I never use the audio the tank has because my ear plugs are always in, they have an option to have starry lights or you can make it totally dark. I also like the floating head rest they provide. Also, since it's epson salt, DO NOT rub your eye or close to your eye (nose, etc) because it can get in your eyes and burn. When the float is over, it'll be very obvious to you because the light will turn back on and the audio letting you know the float is over will start to play. Afterwards they have tea, an area for reflection and things you can interact with like clay, coloring and sand. They really don't rush you out, so feel free to take your time and reflect. read more

I did the 60 Minute Luxury Floatation REST with Frequency Therapy. This was one of the most relaxing experiences ever!! It's like taking a week long tropical vacation in an hour for your brain. I felt rejuvenated, rested, happier and calm. If you're feeling at all stressed, you really should give this a try. The experience is essentially a brief guided meditation into an hour float in a warm salt bath. There's a private shower for you to wash off after your float and a lovely communal space to sip tea, do activities and decompress as well. As a great side benefit, my skin also felt amazing afterwards from the salt soak! read more

This experience was relaxing, interesting, and fun! All the employees were kind and amazing. I went with my boyfriend and he adored it. HOWEVER! I want to warn all women who have sensitive lady parts that the epsom salt water CAN BURN YOUR PRIVATE PARTS! I'm sure this does not happen for all women, but as someone with very sensitive parts, it happened to me. I was only able to float for a minute before the pain got unbearable and I had to wash myself off with the shower provided in the room for a while to make the burning stop. I ended up spending my time in the art room while my boyfriend soaked. We both enjoyed the experience and I would recommend it for everyone EXCEPT women who have experienced irritation in soaks, certain products, and bubble baths the past. I just want to make sure no one experiences the excruciating burning I did. I didn't even consider that it would be painful and would've loved to have a heads up. read more

I was excited to try the scalar frequency service at this clinic since I had some free time in my schedule today. When Kristin explained the service, I asked her when I got into the waterbed if it would get warmer since it was really cold. She said that it would get 70-80 degrees during the service. It never did. I didn't know if and when it was supposed to warm up but tried to enjoy the sound bath in spite of the uncomfortable coldness on my back. When Kristin knocked on the room door later, I was surprised that the service was over because I never felt the water get warm and had I known it was going to be cold the entire time, I would not have booked the service. So- are you one of those folks that has always wanted to try a salt water float tank? Or you did one and felt like it ALMOST lived up to what it could be? We'll look NO further- the Quantum Clinic in Frogtown gives the absolute BEST version of floating that you will ever have. The decor is calming and minimalist, right next to the bike path and La Colombe coffee- you start with a meditation to find a baseline of coherence with a clinician and then get oriented to the float. You can have stars, soft red light, both or just black. I got the double tank and it was SO spacious I felt like I was literally floating in outer space. After some brief instructions over the speaker this incredible vibration music/protocol from the Rasha begins that really amplifies the whole experience. I left my concept of space and time and just floated and felt the vibrations from the water soothe me and put me back in touch with my heart. Afterwards i went and had tea and journaled in their tech free integration space. I feel like I had a full reset and am just so incredibly grateful for such a holistic treatment. If you have never tried floating- do this for your mental and physical health. If you have done it before but hate tracking to Venice- Quantum clinic is the best float tank experience I've ever had. I was present here when a fire broke out on the street- a recycling truck caught on fire obstructing the entire dead end street. I was shocked by the appalling reaction exhibited by the staff here in this emergency situation: they rudely and aggressively warned those of us stranded in the parking lot that we'd be towed and to "never do this again." They were not even concerned with safety of those involved in the fire, instead focused on guarding their reserved parking spots. The lack of compassion from people touting themselves as mental health professionals was repugnant and truly disgraceful given how serious the situation was. The arrogant tone of voice and entitlement even though there were numerous spots open in the lot and a very clear necessity to clear the road for the firefighters illustrated to me that these workers only care about themselves despite their practice area. I cannot, in good faith, let that behavior be swept under the rug. read more
