The hours aren't great but oh man is it worth it. They give you very generous pours for a taste room. Most of their wine tastings are $5 and are delicious! I also found that their wine is super affordable! $14 for most bottles of wine. I was partial to the Kaley's rescue red wine blend but all of the wines I did taste were phenominal. read more

This place is not a winery. It is a lounge. Adding winery to the name is misleading. 1) you can NOT bring outside food like in any wineries 2) No winery scenery. This is in downtown Orlando 3) Open only 3 afternoons a week 4) This is a lounge that only sells one brand of wine. Period! read more

Stopped in once after intending to for a while. The location is great, the inside is set up well, the staff were friendly... My wife and I tried multiple flights and couldn't find a single wine we liked enough to have a full glass of. The prices are really low for a winery, but I'd rather pay a little more and have wine that is more palatable. read more

This place is fantastic! When the wife said, "We're going to a winery near Downtown Orlando" I was not very excited. I said I wasn't in the mood for crappy Florida wine made from star fruit. However, this place is different from other Florida wineries in that they don't bother trying to make wine from fruits grown in state. Instead, they procure unfinished wines from some the best wineries, within the best wines regions, in the country (think Napa, Russian River, and Columbia Valley). They ship these wines to their facility in Orlando and then finish them (e.g. flavoring with oak, aging, clarifying, and bottling) in house. I am very impressed by the quality of wines they produce. Their 2011 Chardonnay and Cab Franc are must haves. Cheers! read more

Great place. Great music on first Friday. My girlfriend loves this place. They always have a food truck on first Friday's. Beer selection is sub par. We may come back but the chances of us coming back would be much higher if they had some better beers as well. They team up with ten ten brewing around the corner but only had one option tonight which I did not care for. Norm there let us have a big bottle of milk stout that he had though. I've had the pleasure of doing a group tasting at Quantum Leap, attending a special event, and most recently serving their wine at our daughter's wedding. I was impressed on each of these occasions, but was especially grateful to the outstanding customer service I received in relation to the "wedding wine". I purchased 2 cases of Garda and 2 cases of Kaley's Rescue Red several months prior, but had no place to store it. This place is AWESOME!!!!! I had my wedding here this past weekend and my guests had the best time ever. I can not even say in words how much I love this place. Hands down.......if you are looking for a unique location then this is the place to be. The theme of my wedding was Rustic Backyard BBQ. I was originally going to have my wedding in the backyard with a huge tent and BBQ going with my family, but something told me to call around and see if I could bring the party indoors. I was so fortunate to find this place and I met with Jen and the rest is history. Jen is the most amazing person that I have ever met. She does her job and she does it so well that it will blow your mind. After I found this place I could not stop dreaming about how wonderful the venue was going to be for my special day. I was able to have the ceremony in the back warehouse, the caterers set up in the barrel room and the reception for 94 people in the tasting room. Our family had the best time ever with the open bar that we had the pleasure of pre-selecting was amazing. It was a magical night! Thank you to the staff for all of your help and service during our party. I was skeptical about seating but Jen told me to trust the process and that my mix and mingle idea would work out perfectly and she was spot on. Thank you so much for helping with everything and you have gained a life-long customer. I love this place and if you are looking for an event venue, amazing wine, or simply a spot to bring your friends to change things up then this is the place to be. This is such a great gem tucked away between Mills and Virginia Ave. Their mission is to produce wine in a more environmentally friendly way. They have the juice from grapes shipped to them from all over the world and they make the wine themselves on site. The tasting room is so much fun and the wines are delicious. Its hard to find good wine in the south where most places have to use the very sweet muscadine grapes. Quantum Leap is a great stop on date night or fun place to bring friends for a wine tasting. read more

I attended the wine, cheese and chocolate event. The owner and local vendors give a very fun informative presentation while everyone samples various wines, cheeses and chocolates. They seem passionate about what they do. There were about 60 fellow wine lovers at the event. It was lots of fun! read more

When we want to experience the age old practice of wine making there is no better spot in the Orlando area than the Quantum Leap Winery. With a back drop of wooden barrels stacked to the ceiling, the large vats the wine is actually created in, and the intimate bottling line all within an eye shot of the tasting room the Quantum Leap Winery does a fantastic job of setting the ambiance to taste some of the best wines you can find in Orlando, or anywhere else for that matter. The art of making wine is fully explored at the Quantum Leap Winery as they source the basic ingredients from all around the world, while placing emphasis on locally sourcing any of the ingredients they can get their hands in a beautiful example of how they understand that Central Florida is where their roots are. In contrast to sourcing only the best ingredients from all around the Quantum Leap Winery also diligently works to reduce their environmental impact by keeping their 'footprint' small. This dual mentality only re-enforces the idea that these wine makers care deeply about not only the wine they are making but also the processes behind the wine. The wine was fine, the service was not. The bar tender was not happy about servings us the sampling items. There were 5 different wine sampling selections on the menu, and 4 of us, we decided to each pick a different one. This was not something the bartender was willing to do, so we compromised with two different samplings instead of four. We not only were met with hostility, but our 'bartender' served us as fast as she could with no descriptions of the wine. Her actual words to us were 'if you want this, don't expect any service'. The winery was busy, but the wine bar was not. I would go back to enjoy the wine, but I would avoid the older blonde bartender at the wine bar. She was extremely rude and unwilling to help. It should be noted that she DID have time to serve the older gentlemen that were sitting at the bar near us. read more

Terrible service. I stopped in as my wife likes, no loves wine. I do not. I went in and was approached asking if I could be helped. A woman came and led me to the owner. Let me mention I was relaxing at home when my wife sent me to 7-11 to get wine, and I stopped in as it loooks like a nice place. I was unshaven and in crummy clothes. Anyway. I told the owner It was for my wife and she likes a cab. and she said they had 2 wines and she reccomended the merlot as the cab was too expensive. What?? The cab was 38 and the merlot was 20. I asked for 1 of each. While she was packaging up I started wandering around looking at the barells when another woman got up from a table of people drinking and asked if I needed help. I told her I was being helped. 2 minutes later she approached again and told me they were closing and I needed to go, again I said I was waiting. The woman, who was an employee then physically grabbed me and started pushing me to the door. The owner finally said she was waiting on me. Iam a very easy going person and I was stunned. I will never go in this place again even though it looked very nice and I live in the neighborhood. You shouldn't judge people by how they look. Anyway my wife said the cab was great and the merlot sucked. Im sure they remember me. I look back and cannot believe I stayed there and gave you my business. Lake Formose Resident. read more
