Belgian with all the fixings $13
    Patricia J.

Wow. What a neighbourhood treat! A casual mom and pop Greek inspired menu with fantastic patio off a quiet street to enjoy a classic breakfast. Friendly service, reasonable prices and large portions. No wonder this place is a hidden gem and considered one of the top 5 breakfast spots. Located in scarb on the border of east York, I've lived in the area for years but always drove by this place. Decided to give it a shot during covid because of the patio and was not disappointed! I'll be returning for years to come. Belgian waffle was massive. $13 for this hunk of sweetness?! Wow! My partners meal was also $13-14 and he couldn't finish. Tasty, fill your gut way to start the day. All day breakfast too. I'll be back to try the lunch / dinner options. Must try for anyone reading this.

Came to this spot on a Sunday morning. The service was phenomenal. It has a family-friendly vibe and the staff were super attentive. I ended up getting the French Connection breakfast and struggled to finish it. It was delicious. Coffee was constantly topped up. We had a table for two and the plates and glasses could barely fit. I would definitely come back!

Food: 4 Stars Service: 4 Stars…read moreAmbience: 4 Stars Fill Factor: Filling I have passed by this restaurant many times over the years but never really paid much attention to it as the storefront did not stand out. However me and my partner had a craving for some breakfast food so decided to give this a shot. The short story is that this is a nice little breakfast place with solid food and great service. I ordered a classic breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, toast and home fries while my partner ordered the pancakes. My breakfast was solid. It wasn't anything mind blowing but everything tasted as it should and overall I really enjoyed it. My partner's pancakes were really good though. The portions were larger than I anticipated and they were so fluffy. This is definitely what I plan to order the next time I come here. Service was great as the server was friendly, the food came fairly quickly and the server checked up on us regularly. No complaints from me on this front. The restaurant is not overly large but has a decent amount of seating. It was bright and inviting as their window at the front of the shop is fairly large. There was seating along the window so we decided to sit there as the sun was beaming into the shop that day and it was great. All in all, this is a nice local breakfast spot that I would easily recommend as everything from the food, service and atmosphere was great. Give it a try.

Was warmly greeted by Christopher and was told to sit anywhere I desired. Was provided menu's and took our beverage order. The menu is quite the spread and reasonably priced! Settled on the Farmers (2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 proteins, home fries and tomato or fruit salad) When I was presented the food, the smell was amazing! The food was prepared to perfection and the pancakes... OMG... they were light, fluffy and oh so yummy. If you are a fan of the proper home fries (read: NOT fried) - you will be in heaven! The vibe here is amazing and wondering why I did not discover this gem earlier! Come by, say hi to Christopher and crew and enjoy a wonderfully crafted meal.

We were pleasantly surprised to see that they have a sidewalk patio that's enclosed so we chose to sit out there. Service was friendly, kind and thoughtful - they even had colouring/activity sheets for the kids. We decided to get their Big Boca which had some of everything including pancakes or French toast. It was BIG. We got two to share among all four of us and it was plenty. The coffee is bottomless (yay!) and the neighbourly vibe was great. There was a steady flow of people and I got the feeling they're quite the staple in the neighbourhood. We'll be back to try their bennies/omelettes! Check em out over the franchised spots!

BOCA Brunch on Cosburn Abe has taken the meaning of greed to a whole new level. I've never seen prices so overpricedI cannot order from this place anymore! This is unethical ! It's all about profit. Profits are more important then the people that are trying to lift paycheck to paycheck and survive. Really friendly gentleman working behind the counter and what a gorgeous place. I wish I could sit down, read and have a cup of their amazing coffee. We got a latte and a chai latte. Mmmm so good. The coffee was flavourful but not too acidic and the chai was so delightful. They had a ton of great looking treats to try as well. I highly suggest this place if you need a little pick me up. I stopped by in a recent visit to Toronto when it made more sense to wait for my wife than to drive back and forth from our hotel in Mississauga amidst... hey did you know that (unscientific as this may be) traffic may actually be worst on weekends than during the week? Reason is that, while many folks commute using public transit, car owners drive to their destinations on weekends. This is a small, sun-shiny kind of space, with Wifi. The front part, especially, is a good place to bask in the rays. They seem to offer a few food choices for breakfast and lunch, but since I was just looking for a place to hang out for 90 minutes, I was going to be "minimal patron". I thought about another coffee, but decided against it, since I already had double the caffeine I usually consume before noon, I opted for the "cheapest" choice, in the form of a Perrier. Cha-ching and "ouch" and $3.74 later (OK it's CAD, but still), I'm left wondering whether I could have made a better choice: as in, a cookie and that bottle of water I had with me?

It's the food that was just meh. Stopped by for lunch and got: - Korean Pancakes: Prepackaged, it still was pretty good (i.e., didn't just taste reheated). The dipping sauce accentuated the sweetness of the pancakes. - Bulgogi Bibimbap: Bulgogi was really bland and a tad dry, so had to put a lot of gochujang on the bibimbap. - Bulgogi Japchae: Agaìn, band and dry bulgogi. The japchae was good - soft and sweet. Also, generous serving that is shareable. - Mango Banana Smoothie: A bit lumpy, and more mango than banana. But great for a hot summer day. Maybe it's the bakery stuff we should have tried, because everyone is raving about this place. The meals were just ok.

A medium-sized side order of kimchi 2. Korean pancake 3. Bulgogi bibimbap 4. Bulgogi japchae 5. Bagel with bacon, egg, lettuce, and tomato And of course, 6. A small matcha latte. I thought that the medium was a pretty good portion of kimchi. Probably enough for 3-4 people to share it as a side dish. The korean pancake was very yummy, especially when paired with the dipping sauce. I liked that both the bibimbap and japchae had a good amount of veggies. I found the bulgogi just a tiny bit dry. The bagel was panini pressed which was nice but it did toast up the lettuce which wilted it. The rest of the toppings were really good. The one thing I really didn't care for was the matcha latte. It was so sweet I didn't think I'd be able to finish it. The other thing is that it hardly tasted of matcha. The latte itself was pretty much white. That kind of told me that it wasn't mixed well and just didn't have any matcha in it. I'd skip this on my next UberEats order.
