My wife and I visited this very special restaurant in March last year and had our lifetime dinner experience. Also this time it was one of the most unique dinner experience, despite it was a step down from last time. This time they served the "Love menu" and we choose the "Love cups" wine paring menu. Super location! Very nice and friendly service! Tasty food and honest prices... They are doing their best to give their clients a "star" expirience but one thing was forgotten: a small apetizer with the apero drinks... Still they are in our hearts! No nonsens and no tourist trap! read more

Five star all the way for this restaurant from our experience of booking right the way through our meal. This restaurant does one sitting at 8pm for their 5 course tasting menu for 59 euros. We also chose the wine pairing for 29 euros. So it's not cheap but was worth every penny. The staff are fabulous and food delicious. The background music was a great mix. In fact I have nothing as to say about this restaurant which also catered fabulously for my wheat and dairy intolerance. If you are visiting Mogan and enjoy fine dining this is a must. A previous reviewer suggested they do a small appetiser which they now do and they provide a palate cleanser between the fish and meat course. What can I say but PERFECT read more

I opted for a somewhat predictable garlic bread for a starter (don't ask for garlic bread with cheese - for some reason this is frowned upon!!) and I thought it might be a but dry and boring. However, it was moist, delicious and extremely garlicky. The nicest I've had for some time. For mains I just ordered a lasagne. If an Italian restaurant can't cook a decent lasagne then theres really no hope. Thankfully it was really delicious and a very decent portion. Always reassuring to find a bay leaf buried inside! It tasted very fresh and very home made. Friendly service, nicely paced, myself and my friends really enjoyed having a late, leisurely lunch here. Peroni on draught is a nice touch.
