I like this itty bitty honey-bee bustling buzzing bizzzness. I have bought the avocado honey, buckwheat honey and the mesquite honey. By FAR I love the avocado honey, however I've been informed that ship has sailed and there will likely bee no more. Boo hoo, says this honey boo-boo. But, I am a honey enthusiast and I will still restock my supply as I run out with some other variety they recommend. I eat honey every day! I had no idea how much was involved when is comes to honey. They took the time to explain the how's and why's. They have done their research and are building a family business dedicated to service and exceeding expectations. Honey is so much more than what you see in plastic packaging (which is not good) at your local grocery stores and coffee houses. The honey was delightful and the products were fantastic, however service was lacking. The young man running the shop stared me down the entire time I was shopping. It was unnerving, I was incredibly uncomfortable and left in under 5 minutes. The products are great and I will probably give the shop another try next time I am in town. Great products with REAL health benefits. Owner, Mercedes, had mentioned that the bees wax candles draw pollutants from the air, even without lighting. This is a new, small specialty shop. Very cute designed shop, nicely arranged products, good merchandising efforts, not overwhelming levels of product choices, but just the "right" amount. Gabe was very friendly, polite, helpful and upbeat... the perfect proprietor. The honey was delicious, the price seemed right, the shop was very clean and tidy. The experience at Queen Bee was "all-in-all" a very positive one and the product I purchased was excellent too. I highly recommend buying "classy & tasty" gifts there all the while supporting a new, worthwhile small business trying to do things the "right" way. I have tried different types of honey and the honey the have here doesn't compare to anything I have tried. The honeycomb is one of my favorites. I also love the wildflower, alfalfa, and clover but each honey they have is unique and tasty. They staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about what honey goes best with foods.
