The building seems like it's over a century old, filled with all the weird candies you can imagine! Most of the candy is sold by the ounce or the pound. All the taffies are the same price, it's sold by the pound. They have nearly every flavor you can imagine, but I'd recommend sticking with the huckleberry ones, this is the local berry in Red Lodge that everyone seems to go crazy over. There's a ten dollar minimum on credit cards, so if you're gonna charge it, you're walking out with a whole lotta candy. It's not all just taffy - they have weird stuff like booger flavored jelly beans, or poop themed candy, or potato sweets from Idaho. Sweet! There's so much old stuff here- it's hard to tell what originally belonged up on the walls, and what's been added throughout the years. It serves of a sort of memento from a time yonder when things were sweeter. The guy behind the counter was nice, and eager to carve off big chunks of fudge that they had located behind the counter, by the ounce. Parking was challenging, since it's on the main street of Red Lodge.

They have a lot of encased meats, things that you don't necessarily need an ice chest to get home, so they make great gifts. I loved their local hot sauce collection- their jam and jelly and preserve selection was better than most supermarkets! They have a sampling station right in the center where you can get loaded up on whatever they're dishing out. Highly recommend. They'll chat you up on where the stuff is from and why it's WY significant. People in Wyoming sure seem to like huckleberries, and this is a great place to stock up on huckleberry flavored everything. The whole store looks like an old western kind of place with wooden accent all over, and old timey kinda feel. They also sell local honey, in all the forms- combs, whipped, regular, you name it.

It's hard to categorize this place. It's almost like a general store and has a little of something…read moreof everything. There are toys, games, some clothes, touristy gifts, candy, jewelry, and some camping-related items, a never-used thermos or two, rain ponchos, etc. Much of the inventory on the non-jewelry and non-food items, were in original packaging and some were even a trip down memory lane just seeing them. I don't know where the owners found them. In the back corner on the lower shelf were typewriters -- refurbished electric typewriters ideal for those who want to be off-line. It was odd, but given the other things here, maybe not so odd. They don't seem to have a website, posted hours (roughly between 8-5), or a phone number. They aren't even located within town, but rather a couple of miles outside of Bridger. The building has a sign, but it's the yellow banners right off the highway that are the markers for where you need to turn. The owner and his wife put together the collection of oddities here and if you're missing something, or not missing something and just want to see or perhaps find something different, this is the place.
