I had never gone to the St…read more Philip's Plaza Saturday Market in my previous residences, so we decided to check it out on a recent weekend when we were back in town finding a place to live. I am surprised to read some negative reviews for the market: there were a number of interesting vendors there. It is true that most were not food related: definitely more arts, crafts, supplements, etc. But still lots of fun shopping to do in an adorable venue. We talked to lots of nice folks. Someone else mentioned in a one star review "no coffee". I assume this means there is no longer a coffee vendor in the market (we didn't see one) but the market takes place in the same plaza where Ren Coffee is located and their coffee is amazing! We grabbed a cup from there prior to walking around the market. All in all a lovely experience: I'd be tempted to go a little later in the day next time so I could grab a margarita at Reforma after our shopping experience concludes.

I loved my gozleme from Safure's Turkish Kitchen. Mine was either spinach and cheese, light and tasty! Great friendly service and a beautiful day for a walk!

One of my friends told me to try Lion's Mane so I found Desert Pearl at the Rincon Farmers Market with the tinctures and thought I would give it a try, and it works amazingly. I feel so much better during the day and my brain fog is so much better. I sound like a commercial reading this but seriously it worked for me. My doctor had me on a antidepressant for the brain fog and it sucked, it changed my sense of taste and as a foodie I was not having that, so yeah this stuff is the best. It does not taste great but it works so well. If you are a woman going through menopause I would suggest giving it a try.

The first time I discovered DPM I was shocked a place in town sold gourmet mushrooms to the general public at an affordable price. If you go to Whole Foods and compare the price and freshness, you can't compare at all! What's ever better is their local to Tucson and some really awesome people behind the table. They aren't pushy for your money and have so much knowledge for their customers who are curious, and like me never had access to mushrooms that aren't normally located in our grocery store. They also are at all the heirloom markets in town so they are always accessible during the week! If you are into exploring gourmet mushrooms to spice up your cooking game, seriously check them out!

It's a great place to hold a farmer's market, plenty of open area so if you have some kids, can blow off some steam...the bathrooms are clean as well. There's also a museum there with lots of great history. It's called the Steam Pump Ranch. Some of the docents are really a type of living history. One of them was the former mayor in Oro Valley. In the past I have met family members who grew up on the ranch as docents, The museum still has a history of the ranch as a focus in one area and they focus on the 250 year history of the USA with an Arizona emphasis on another. Lots of dogs and some of them are quite friendly...you still have to be dog smart.. The vendors were friendly and helpful with information about their products... There is a wide variety of fresh products for sale. They have a website that lists a lot of the vendors. They have several locations around they have fresh hot food vendors, grocery food vendors,a couple of bakeries, health and wellness vendors, and artisans. It's always fun to enjoy the fresh smells from roasting chili's to pupusas, homemade burritos, Korean Barbecue, baked goods and homemade soups! Click on their website through Yelp to get details about vendors and artisans available at each farmers market.

They also carry chicken, quail, and duck eggs, along with a variety of pickled vegetables and handmade soaps from local goat farms. It's everything you'd hope for in an authentic market. Most "farmers markets" in Tucson tend to be more like flea markets, with vendors mainly selling homemade trinkets rather than actual farm-grown goods, so this one is a welcome change. The atmosphere is friendly, the vendors are knowledgeable, and there's a wide variety of options to explore. Overall, it's a great spot if you're looking for genuine local produce and a warm community vibe.

Although I go out of my way traveling to drive slowly down old fort lowell road turning left on swan right past plaza palomino on the Se corner of swan & old ft lowell I've never been inside. The concert with russell long's rillito River band was nestled inside the plazas courtyard. The plaza Id guess was built in the 1990's of very solid substantial stuccoed block in a sw style , two story ,very detailed in a pleasant way . Filled with unique local boutique high end shops and smaller restaurants several with patio dining . Ample parking surrounds the exterior. Again my purpose was to grab a bite and attend the benefit . If you ever get a chance to hear the rillito River band go! 60s 70s 80s hits played by local professionals in other fields with no electronic sound track back up rare these days .check the band out playing around town monthly , great fun.
