The first time I visited, it was so busy that we only grabbed a couple of sweets to go. On our second visit, it was much quieter, so we decided to order two paninis. We tried the Prosciutto Special on ciabatta. It was delicious, but we couldn't help thinking the meat tasted more like turkey than prosciutto. I even asked the attendant about it, and she assured me it was prosciutto. We also ordered the Turkey Pesto panini, which had great flavor. The only downside was that the bread was a bit too hard. Unfortunately, the ciabatta on the Prosciutto Special was very soggy on the bottom and started falling apart, which was disappointing. The café itself is very cute, bright, and open. We took our paninis and pastries next door to the brewery, and they paired perfectly with the beers, making for a really enjoyable lunch. We also picked up two pastries, and both were excellent. Overall, despite a couple of issues with the sandwiches, we enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back for the baked treats. read more

The first time I tried Holy Focaccia was before they had their current location and they only did pop ups at Slow body sometimes. I found that first focaccia sandwich pretty good but a little hard to eat and it didn't inspire me to come back for a while. Once they opened the current location at Slow Body I kept an eye on the menu to see if they might bring in any new vegan options that look interesting and decided to come back and try their June 2026 special- The BLT with housemade Seitan bacon and Caesar dressed greens. The house-made seitan was good and plentiful. The Caesar dressing was yummy and tart. I would have been happy with a little more of it on the sandwich or on the side. I really appreciate that they make their items house-made from scratch which is what will bring me back in the future. Note that this sandwich was pretty chewy- not a good one to have during a flare up of TMJ :) I liked this Caesar BLT focaccia sandwich better than my first one with the tofu that I tried in the past. The one I tried before was the Balsamic marinated tofu sandwich with broccoli, nut free pesto and arugula. I hope to see more vegan options and specials with house-made ingredients in the future. It seems that they make the sandwiches in batches, not at the time of order. I got there right at 11am when they start serving them for lunch and they were ready promptly. There are a few sits on the bar and another table inside the restaurants area. Fairly dim lighting in there. There are also lots of tables at Slow Body as well as outdoor sitting, including a couple shaded tables and heaters for cooler weather. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! Came here with friends to Slow Body and now Holy Focaccia is connected, which is nice to get food with beers. Their focaccia is delicious, in addition to some of their baked goods. Their mortadella sandwich is a treat, including their pistachio pesto. I didn't know what mortadella was, and found out it's like an Italian bologna. We also tried their breakfast focaccia sandwich but I think the tomato jam was too sweet, so would recommend their lunch focaccia sandwiches instead. The space is a little confusing in terms of where to line up and order when it gets busy but the staff are very kind. Their almond cake is very tasty, too! I would not recommend their dinner menu. We stayed long enough at Slow Body that we tried their dinner menu. The pizzas are thin crust and had little sauce for the margherita pizza. We thought their dinner sandwich would be on focaccia, but it was on a baguette and not as flavorful. I wish their dinner sandwiches were also on focaccia, which it didn't list what type of bread it's on on their dinner menu. Their tiramisu was also disappointing with the cost and the fact that they use sponge cake and not traditional lady fingers, which their menu also doesn't mention. Definitely come for their lunch, focaccia, coffee, and pastries. I'd skip dinner menu. read more

So dang good! Came for the vegan Cesar BLT. So glad I did! Their bread is unreal. The B was super flavorful and crunchy. Love the Cesar dressing. Hope this item sticks around for a bit. Nice to have a substantial vegan option. Came on my lunch break. They opened early. I'm a fan! I stopped in for lunch and really enjoyed the experience. Part of my overall rating includes the fast that Slowbody welcomes overflows seating into the brewery for Holy Foccaccia customers to eenjoy their meal in their space. Slowbody is probably the vibiest brewery in town! I don't drink beer anymore, but my husband is a big fan, and I appreciate the artowrk on their cans a lot. The space is equally lovely, spacious and just a spot that you could definitley hang at for a whie with friinds. This is a 5-star collaboration folks! The Holy Foccaccia experience: Located inside SlowBody brewing. It's not a super visible entrance, so if you feel like you maybe at the wrong spot, trust that you're not! You'll walk in and immediately se the HF ordering counter and all the action as they are baking away. The pastry case had so many goodies is was hard to choose! we ordered the squash sandwich and a mortadella to go. They were both very tasty, but quite oily for my taste. We also took some of their chocolate olive oil cake, which was delicious, and no surprise there, also oily, lol, but very good. I also ordered the quiche, which was delicious! And they accidentally gave us a salt chocolate chip cookies with our order which they kindly let us keep. They have pistaccio in them and they are very good! HF is order at the counter. The lunch menu is very small, I look forward to going back in the evening to try the pizza and hang at the brewery. Such an awesome spot, just wish they located more in midtown or closer to where I live. HF is women-owned and as other mentioned, started at teh farmers market and now has their brick and mortar spot at Slowbody Brewing. Definitely check them out! read more

May 2026 has been my time of discovering and appreciating Holy Focaccia. Last night we went for the third time for inner, sitting at the counter. Every visit there are special sandwiches, salads, and desserts in addition to their regular menu items. We took our friends on a Food Tour of our current favorite spots. Holy Focaccia let us down tonight since our pizza was burnt on the bottom and our desserts all missed the mark. Overall, I am still a fan, since the service is outstanding, the space was enjoyable with a custom playlist. Our pizzas were replaced, but still more crunchy and firm than my other two visits. Wow their long awaited cafe is open!! HF has added so many new items to the menu. Make sure you check their IG for hours, there is a morning and evening food service. I've tried several items on the morning /afternoon menu. I would recommend the breakfast sandwiches and the squash panino. The sesame date cookie is a personal fave. Tried Tucson's newest bakery café. They have sweet treats, savory bites, and refined espresso beverages. Their seating space is so welcoming with lots of charm. Their patio is even cuter. What a treat on a Friday night! Last night we ventured into Slow Body Brewery to enjoy live music and after about 45 minutes we realized we were very hungry. Our friend who we were there with, told us that Holy Focaccia had a new little brick in mortar spot located in the south area of the brewery. We decided to check it out and we were NOT disappointed! In fact, the two focaccia pizzas were both entirely eaten by us and friends! They were crisp, rich in flavor and light! So delicious! Their new space is classy, minimalistic, and can accommodate a crowd. They also offer beverages at their bar space. They have various menu items. Plus, they've added a to-go window around the side of the building, which is an excellent addition. Service was outstanding. They suggested a few menu items. We ordered the classic and the special, which included savory mushrooms, onions, and various cheeses. Their prices are fair. We highly recommend this new spot if you're in the area. I decided to pop in this morning for a pastry before getting the house ready for Easter. I felt calm and relaxed the moment I walked in! I loved the music, and it was a bit dark and moody, a place to lose track of a morning. I changed my mind over and over again on a drink, a sandwich, a pastry. The owner was so nice and accommodating and took time to chat and get to know me, and explained the menu and hours-I can't wait to go back on a Friday or Saturday night for pizza! I ended up with orange fennel soda even though I went for a coffee, and so glad I did! It was refreshing, flavorful, gave me a burst of energy, and I love the cup that it came in - yes, this matters! My egg white cheddar sandwich with of course focaccia had the right amount of chiltepin tomato jam, and a thick slice of cheese - omg - perfect!! I saw the pastry chef putting this wickedly thick cream into a bun and had to have that too - woow!! Soo much cream on a bun that was not too sweet and espresso powder dust - they really know how to put ingredients together! 100 percent loved the vibe here, and I chatted with a customer who said this was her third weekend here in a row - this may be me too! read more

So excited that Holy Focaccia has a new home! Stopped by for breakfast this morning with friends and it was lovely visit all around. I had the egg and white cheddar sandwich, which was amazing, and while I was a bit wary of the tomato chiltepin jam, the lovely staffer who took my order assured me that it was delicious and she was absolutely right. A little sweet and a lot of savory made for the perfect combo. The mint iced tea was delish and the rosemary sugar biscuit was the perfect treat to enjoy this afternoon. Loved the space, the food and the vibe: went there twice over a weekend. First let's talk food: everything i had was delicious. You are not going to go wrong. I tried both quiches onion jam and quiche au citron (the plates comes with a fresh delightful salad with olives) and the egg and fontina sandwich. Also had the espresso and cream maritozzi and a latte. The cream maritozzi... if they have it, say yes. The latte was good and hoping they expand to specialty lattes ( only because I am spoilt and love creative espresso combos). Cool furniture... a mix of modern and rustic done right. Lots of indoor and outdoor space ( this place is nestled and coshare the love with Slow Body)... so between the warm smell of the kitchen you skid have an active brewery... so lots of space for groups or a leave me alone table. Service was super awesome ( shout out to Jonathan for being super welcoming and remembering names!). They have evening service a couple times a week that I look forward to checking out. Parking is interesting... use the parking map that you can find at the slowbody website... ie do not park across from this location... the businesses across do get a little sour. This place was really cool! It's quite literally a hidden gem, it's hard to find haha. It looks unassuming on the outside, but it has a huge and really aesthetic inside. The service is also great. They also have a very interesting menu. I do wish they had as many mains as they have pastries. The almond cookies were soo good. I tried the mortadella and the squash sandwhich, they were both missing just a little something, couldn't say what, but they were still really good.
