After agonizing over the decision I decided to purchase the vehicle. So after I got home I noticed that I had a drivers side fog light out and then 2 days after that the check engine light came on. Contacted the dealer and they said I had to pay for this myself since it was not part of the power train. Called and left message for general manager to call me back and no reply . So now that they had lied too me and will not follow up they definitely lost a potential customer for the future . I will never go back

I had a package for oil change and tire rotation. They called me and told me I didn't. It took an hour out of my morning to get it straightened out. Ron was rude (it's not my fault that you couldn't find my package!) and when I told him to look on the manufacturer's website, where the dealership I bought it from told me to tell him to look, he said, "You're not the only one who's had a package before." (That wasn't the only rude thing he had to say about this.) Well, it seems I was the first person they came across who had this type of package. It was also multiple people that I dealt with. I think the other person's name was Brian. And he was angry at first...he told me to take care of it when I came to pick up my car. I said I'd prefer to figure it out now. By the time we hung up, he was fine. Neither of them, apparently, had seen this before. It was finally figured out. Then, Ron called to tell me my car was ready for pick-up...service centers usually tell you what time the dealership closes when they do this. Online says 6. I walked into the service center at 4:59 and literally saw them walk out the door. Came back the next day - not really their fault. Then, I find that they put a new air filter in, without talking to me about it. There it was on my charges. If you're still with me now, wait to hear this... I said, "No one talked to me about this, I didn't authorize it." Ron (of course) said I needed it. I know the last time I got my air filter replaced. And I said well it wasn't discussed with me. He said, "Ok we'll just take it out." When I said well there needs to be one in there, he said they'd put mine back in. I said, "Do you still have my air filter?" And he said, "Yeah it's in the trash, they haven't picked up the trash yet." This is an air filter we're talking about. He said the trash only has other car parts (so I'm thinking, so my air filter could now have oil and other crap on it). Then I said, "How can you even be sure it's mine if you pull it out of the garbage?" And he made this disgusted noise. He knew what they did. He knew they were wrong. It's an easy way to get one over on people, that they usually probably don't stand up for themselves for. He took off the cost. I'm still not going back. I would have with the other stuff, but this deems them not trustworthy in my book! I'm just happy to have my Jeep back and out of their hands.

He asked me again though what I would want as features. Told him I wanted the latest tech so I can not have the need to ever touch my phone, I would like it to be blue, and not necessary but I love to have a moon roof again. He asked if it had to be blue? :-) and he showed me a 2020 Kia Sportage. I took it out for a test drive and immediately fell in love with the panoramic moon roof, the Auto Android and Apple OS, the lane avoidance system, the AWD, skid plate, vehicle clearance... the list went on after I test drove it and inspected the SUV. When I returned... all that was left was to hear what pricing the could give me for my Chevy Volt. It was the best trade in value period. No haggeling needed at all. The motorcycle... not so much, but that was a different branch's call... so I kept the motorcycle ;-) But the trade in value for my car was beyond my anticipation. That deal alone got me hooked, but what was even better... he got me exactly the price range I needed on that 2020 Kia Sportage. Including the warranties!!! The only thing I had a very hard time was keeping my hand out of the Halloween Candy Bowl, but making a decision on buying a car never felt more relaxed to me. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a vehicle!

The car had a rust hole in the bottom of the frame that the shove some type of putty in and covered. This car has been a problem since a week after we bought it. He buys all his cars from auctions with no knowledge on the cars and doesn't test drive them but for a couple minutes. If you guys buy a vehicle from this place it will just be a headache you have my word. His wife is very rude as well.

I drove it the 15 miles home and went to pull the tires off and found that all 20 of them were tightened well beyond what my electric impact was capable of handling which was a first. Keep in mind they were the last ones to touch the wheels. The owner gave a complete BS reason that didn't include someone completely not paying attention to what they were doing when tightening down the lug nuts. To suggest the lugs tighten on their own after a short drive is insulting. There is a reason why it's common practice to retorque lug nuts after 100 miles of driving. It's because they loose! After two attempts to get someone to remove them I dropped it off. When I showed up after it being there a week I was hit with $130 bill for their removal. Any reputable shop would have NEVER considered charging for a follow up to a repair THEY did. I'm giving up the low rating because of the dishonesty and lack of integrity. I definitely recommend other places. They came recommended as a closer VW mechanic, but I'll be making the drive to Hagerstown or Morgantown in the future.

I won't be buying other car from Queen City motors again, customer service there is terrible. I had issues with my breaks multiple times and they kept saying there was no issue with them until the third time I brought it in and complain, had a crack in the windshield when I bought it and they wanted to put In a aftermarket windshield not a factory windshield that came with it told me I had to pay for that out of pocket I fought that and they finally put in it. They told me they would work with me with a down payment when I traded in my old car, month went by and they call me to come into their dealership to "talk" about the loan, told me if I didn't have all the down payment in ten days they would take legal action to the vehicle. I told them I was a single father and you told me you guys would work with me. I didn't want my car repo so I had to go back to my lean holder and ask for a personal loan I was given it. Short story is don't go to Queen City!!! Will be one of your biggest mistakes. My fault I didn't go to other places to look around! Very disappointed customer. read more

Hats off to Queen City Motors. I purchased a truck from them and noticed quickly that the truck had a low spongy brake pedal. I made an appointment for the truck to be checked out and was told they would give me a loaner vehicle while they repaired my truck. Which they did. After getting truck back after a few days of running it the pedal went low again. I took it back and received another loaner vehicle. The repairs were made on my truck and Queen City Motors did something alot of dealerships could learn from. They spent alot of money making the nessisary repairs at no cost to me and repaired the truck. Their service writer Lorilia is a great asset to their business and kept me posted all through the repairs due to parts issues. They need two more people just like her. What Queen City Motors has done in my case is made a customer for life. I'm impressed with their business and since have baught the second vehicle from them. A new Pathfinder. I traveled across the country to buy my van at Queen City Motors...and it was totally worth it! Not only did I get a fair price and great warranty on a high-quality van that I absolutely love, but the customer experience was the best I've ever encountered. Travis provided me with so much helpful information before I made the decision to buy the van. I think I called him 20 times, and he was amazingly patient and cheerful every time. They picked me up at the train station! They gave me their cell phone numbers because they were worried about me driving all the way back to Colorado by myself! They called to check in on how the van was doing after three months! I'm not kidding, these are not just people with an eye for quality vehicles, they are some of the best folks I've ever worked with. If you have the choice of buying a used car from Queen City Motors or somewhere else, choose Queen City Motors...even if it takes you a flight, a train and a thousand mile drive to make it happen. read more

I recently purchased a 2014 Jeep Wrangler from Queen City. This was the first vehicle I have purchased from this dealer. I dealt with a salesman named Dallas. He was excellent. The whole dealership was very efficient with the paperwork including the DMV. They were all very friendly and returned our calls in a timely manner. I did have an issue with the Jeep. I contacted the dealer and the matter was handled just as efficiently by the service department. Everyone I dealt with was very nice. Went to look at a vehicle a couple of years ago just out of curiosity, and ended up purchasing a truck that I had wanted for years the following day. My saleswoman, Kennedy, was nothing short of helpful, kind, funny, and reassuring during the whole process. Queen City Motors was wonderful! They gave me a good price for my used mini van, listened to what I wanted in my new mini van, and worked hard to find the perfect mini van for me. They stayed within my budget. They asked if I wanted a scratch fix, and when I said no they took $500 off the selling price. When I went to sign, they had everything ready right there, the bank papers, new tags already on, and new insurance card printed. They made it so easy! read more

CURRENT UPDATE: Now, a few weeks late, I did get a call from the corporate office telling me they returned the deposit (check is in the mail). The gentleman tells me the office had actually done so before he spoke to them, on their own initiative. If I give them the benefit of the doubt, and I feel I can, I will receive it back in a few days. Since I cannot speak for any other person claiming he does not return the deposits I will consider doing business from here again; however, I have used Enterprise 5 times in the month since I returned the van to this place and have not had one issue with them. My advise? Approach with caution; he is the cheapest rental in town, but pay with cash. However, on day 21 you better call and find out where your deposit is and stay on top of it. If the true reason for my deposit was an office oversight, they seem to be a little disorganized.

I informed Jim and Finance Mgr David Shetil that I couldn't do that before 09/04. David said that if I wasn't there that day they had another buyer that would be getting the truck so the sale could be counted in their end of month figures. What was the point of my putting $500 down as requested. As of today 09/08, I still have not received a refund of my down payment! I think their business practices leave a lot to be desired and as such will not be doing any further business with them. I am telling any outlet I have access that this business has no honor.

I went there looking for a 4x4 truck with in my price range to survive the winter. Needing to trade in my car and my motorcycle was my only option. Not only did I get to test drive 3 vehicles... the entire time Michael was super supportive and not pushing the sale on me. Rather letting my get a feel for each vehicle to see if it would fit my day to day needs. After dealing with 9 dealerships in the last few months... it felt relaxing to not be pushed, but rather inspect the vehicles I wanted. But in the end the used trucks were great... just not exactly what I needed. He asked me what I was looking for. Told him I needed either a 4x4 or AWD vehicle to survive through mud and snow. He asked me again though what I would want as features. Told him I wanted the latest tech so I can not have the need to ever touch my phone, I would like it to be blue, and not necessary but I love to have a moon roof again. He asked if it had to be blue? :-) and he showed me a 2020 Kia Sportage. I took it out for a test drive and immediately fell in love with the panoramic moon roof, the Auto Android and Apple OS, the lane avoidance system, the AWD, skid plate, vehicle clearance... the list went on after I test drove it and inspected the SUV. When I returned... all that was left was to hear what pricing the could give me for my Chevy Volt. It was the best trade in value period. No haggeling needed at all. The motorcycle... not so much, but that was a different branch's call... so I kept the motorcycle ;-) But the trade in value for my car was beyond my anticipation. That deal alone got me hooked, but what was even better... he got me exactly the price range I needed on that 2020 Kia Sportage. Including the warranties!!! The only thing I had a very hard time was keeping my hand out of the Halloween Candy Bowl, but making a decision on buying a car never felt more relaxed to me. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a vehicle!
