We love Tazito's!…read more Recommended by word of mouth through fellow dog owners at the dog part down town - so I decided to give them a try! My dog had previously been attending a dog daycare with a ton of other dogs that were shortstaffed - he was overwhelmed. Tazito's was a smaller one on one experience with a home setting. Perks of daycare AND being at "home" Ruth is so sweet and really cares - if she's not available there's always someone there. She also sends photos throughout the day! Amazing hours for folks who work not the usual 9-5 or do but have things after work... most daycares close by 6 which can be hard!! Since going I've met other people in the community who use her too, which is great and reassuring. I've even recommended her to some people to check out! So if you're thinking about it - just give her a try and you won't be disappointed!

On my puppy's first morning there she was very hesitant to go with the male co-owner so I asked if he could please text me once she warms up. I'm at work concerned about my puppy so I call and text with absolutely no contact back from the owners. I pick up my puppy early due to their non communication only to find out that my puppy was not fed her breakfast or lunch and that this didn't warrant a phone or text either. I had high hopes for this doggy day care because they stated they prided themselves on the personal attention given to each dog. I felt none of this personalized attention as I only got any information when I picked my puppy up after 9 hours there . That didn't feel very personalized to me. No matter what response and excuses the business owner posts I will continue to feel that the upmost personalized care was not given to my puppy. The slightly urine smelling blanket was an oversight on my end but all the other disasters that day rest solely on Tazito's.

AVOID, AMY LEFT OUR DOGS ALL ALONE WHILE WE WERE OUT OF TOWN…read more We booked Amy to do overnight stay pet sitting from August 5-8. On the morning of August 6, we realized by looking at the door sensor data from our security system that she had left our home at 8pm on August 5 and had not yet returned (it was about 10:30am when we realized). After texting and calling Amy on the morning of the 6th, we were able to reach her around 11:30am. She explained that she had an emergency, which was why she was not caring for the dogs as agreed. We explained, firmly but reasonably, that we understand that emergencies happen, but she cannot leave the dogs alone, and, if she had just let us know she had an emergency, we could have tried to handle it. After this call, Amy went to the home and let the dogs out. She then texted and said that she was leaving our dogs and would not be providing further care. This forced us to scramble, while on vacation, to try and arrange an emergency pet sitter. When Amy quit the job without notice, she also promised a refund of our deposit, but, when we got home and tried to contact her, she had blocked us across all of her accounts. Ultimately, we used an account unknown to Amy and made a Venmo request for the money back, which she did pay. Honestly, this was the worst case scenario. The pet sitter quit while we were out of town, and, in a panic, we almost had to cut our vacation short (after less than a day away). Plus, Amy had no reason to quit; we were not unreasonable and simply explained that it was unacceptable and not consistent with expectations that she had left our dogs alone for almost 16 hours and did not make us aware of or made a plan to deal with her personal emergency. Like, who does that?!?! If you want a pet sitter that provides the services promised and does not quit when you call them out for doing meeting expectations, avoooooooid.
