I travel often for work on both weekdays and weekends & they are always available to accommodate my busy schedule. Prior to finding QCP, arranging care for my dogs was a grueling process. Not only was it tough to reserve a spot for my pets at a boarding facility on short notice but trekking across town to drop them off before my departure and then do it all over again when I returned home from a trip took hours out of my day. This all made for astronomical costs for the care of my dogs. I tried a few petsitting companies before finding Queen City Petsitting and the process of making reservations was almost as difficult as it was when I used boarding facilities and many times I was denied service because they were under staffed. With Queen City Petsitting, All I have to do to line up a sitter is fill out a reservation with all of my contact info and the dates I'll be gone and within 24 hours Stacey has a sitter available. The sitter then contacts me directly to set up a time to meet with me and my pups. I discovered this petsitting service from Google and read several reviews there and decided to give it a try. I met with my petsitter in advance and she was able to meet my dog. During the first visit when I was on my way out of town, I was sent a text picture of Truman with a note that he was fine and walked with no problem. This definitely put me at ease about leaving him with a new petsitter. Upon arriving home, my place was tidied and the TV was left on to keep the dog company. He was relaxed and hardly seemed to realize I had been gone. I have used Queen City petsitting many times now and find them to be professional, courteous, and trust-worthy. Sometimes my plans change at last minute too and they have accomodated my last minute requests or changes, which I really value. I won't leave my dog at a kennel and have been very pleased at having this option which allows my pet to feel comfortable in his own home while I am gone. I have been using Queen City Petsitting for almost a year now and have nothing but good things to say! I work long hours and need someone to come during the day to walk my Maggie. I have had the same walker most of the time, and when I had to get a fill in while she was on her honeymoon, she put me in touch with another walker from QC Petsitting which made it easy! My schedule changes from week to week and my walker has always been flexible with me. While I am trying to keep this general, I do have to applaud Kathryn (my normal walker) and Caroline (her full in while she was out of town) for taking such good care of my dog when I can't be there. It's hard to trust people these days and I never have to worry about my dog when they are being looked after by QC! I moved to Charlotte for a job that requires more travel than I expected. It's always nerve racking to find someone you can trust your dog and your home with - Queen City Petsitting has been just that. They are a total lifesaver for watching my dog and I know he's always in good hands. They are flexible and extremely accommodating. They will come once per day if I have a long day and more than that if I'm gone overnight. It's comparably priced to the boarder I was looking at and is so much more convenient to have your dog waiting for you at home vs having to get them from a kennel and operate in the kennel's hours. My dog walker sends an update and picture via text after every visit. It has been a great peace of mind for me and my dog is so much better exercised when I'm away. I have used this company many times. I love that my pets get to stay in their own home where they are comfortable while I am away. The pet sitter leaves me a note every time she visits. I also receive text messages letting me know how things are going, and she truly cares about my pets. I don't have to worry about the house while I am gone. She brings in the mail, takes out the trash, and waters the plants. She even cleans up all the pet hair! I have recommended this company to all my friends, and they all have had the same experience. My wife and I have really enjoyed our experience with Queen City Petsitting. My wife and I were and are in a situation that has left our dog at home for long hours, and I was recommended Queen City Petsitting from a coworker. It could not have turned out better! We have a very shy dog, and it takes some time for her to warm up to you. Our walker, Christina, was great when we set up a meeting and our dog has warmed up to her rather quickly. My experience with QCP has been wonderful. The owner is very responsive and the sitter that was assigned to me, Caroline, has been fantastic!!!!! I have an old dog, Abby, with various health issues. Caroline goes above and beyond in her daily communications with me to let me know how Abby's health and behavior was for the day. I know I can email her and she will listen and adjust to Abby and her needs. I feel very comfortable leaving my dog in her hands- I know she will be well take care of. Almost as good as my mom! I usually have my mom or my friends watch my baby but nobody was around this week : ( I had a last minute business trip and was stressed out I wouldn't find somewhere or someone to watch my sweet boy, Wiggles. I called Queen City petsitting & they hooked me up with a sitter in less than an hour and she was able to meet with Wiggles and I that day!
