I came to Queens Massage for a deep tissue massage. Had Tom as my massage therapist and he was amazing! He really got into all the nooks and crannies and used the perfect amount of pressure throughout. The hot stone massage was such a nice touch and helped melt away all the tension I didn't even realize I had. The place is very relaxing, and they even take walk-ins, which is super convenient. It's my 4th time coming here and I always love my massages, however I went in on Sunday (2:30 pm) and paid for an 80min massage and was walking out with my clothes on at 3:43 pm). Mind you I walked in 2:29 pm and I still had to undress etc, so she probably didn't start until 2:40 and was done by 3:40. I didn't realize I was literally robbed of my time until I was driving off. This place is legit. I've been here a few times and each was a great experience. Yesterday I called to make an appointment for a 60 minute foot massage. They were able to take me right away. I live nearby so I was on the table in less than 10 minutes. Bear in mind that Chinese massage is different from Swedish massage. You won't get a lot of long, smooth strokes with Chinese massage, but rather the approach is more of applying pressure to localized areas to relieve stress. "Michael" was my massage therapist yesterday. I was surprised that my 60 minute foot massage started with him putting my feet in a warm soak while he then proceeded to massage my forehead, scalp, and neck. NICE. He went on to massage my feet using that same localized pressure. Heavenly. When done, he instructed me to turn over on my stomach. He went on to massage the knots between my shoulder blades and paid extra attention to my back. Bonus. Great prices. Friendly staff who are dedicated to their art. Amazing Experience - Finally a Massage That Listens! I suffer from tension headaches and migraines, and I hold a lot of tension in my neck. I've been to so many massage places where I've clearly expressed that I just want my neck and shoulders worked on, but they always spend minimal time on those areas or include parts I don't want massaged. Even places that have you fill out detailed forms end up ignoring my requests, leaving me disappointed but not this time! Before booking, I called and explained my concerns. The woman on the phone was incredibly helpful and recommended a 30-minute massage since I only wanted my neck worked on. She explained that a 60-minute session would likely include more back work, which I wasn't interested in. I appreciated her honesty and went with the 30-minute session. From the moment I walked in, the experience was great. Everyone was super nice, the place was clean, and they even offer refreshments after your massage, which is a really nice touch. Most importantly, my massage therapist actually listened to me! She focused exactly where I asked and gave my neck the attention it desperately needed. I had high hopes going into this massage establishment as I just got off a 12 hour flight. Upon walking in, I was asked whether I wanted a regular or a stronger massage. I said I prefer someone stronger as I'm a bigger person and she told me that it was gonna be $15 extra. What really? OK it better be worth it. She started asking questions about the jewelry that I was wearing whether or not it was real and how much I paid for it. I'm not here to converse with you, I'm here to relax. The lady then asked if she could walk on my back. I turned around to look to make sure that she wasn't someone so big that I couldn't handle. I said yes, and she began doing so with her bare feet, gross! She then started massaging me and yes, she was very strong, but the strength was used on my bones and joints instead of muscles. The whole time I had to tell her to go lighter as it just became uncomfortable. I ended up cutting the session short saying that I needed to leave for dinner. When I went outside, she was waiting for a tip and did not seem happy that I gave her $15 never ever coming back to this place again. $95 was supposed to be a deep tissue full body massage. She literally went to my feet for about 30 minutes, which was not part of the deal. But I'm sure was easier for her. read more

My boyfriend and I came here on a whim. Because it's been super cold outside we wanted something that was relaxing and warm. We read some of the mixed reviews but thought we'd roll the dice and come here. Let me tell you, BEST decision. The ambiance and music were super relaxing, the beds were warm and comfy, and our masseuse were spot on. My only regret was not adding more time to the massage. We did 60 mins & added the hot stones - I highly recommend. The massage did not include feet - which in hindsight I would have totally added because it was very much worth it. 10/10 if you ask me! I rarely write reviews, but I feel I have to warn others about our experience. If there was a "zero star" option, I would definitely check that. My wife went here two weeks ago for what was supposed to be a relaxing massage, and she is STILL in pain. The massage was overly aggressive, way too deep into the tissue, and left her sore in a way that hasn't gone away despite taking Tylenol and Advil daily. Instead of relaxation and relief, it has caused her ongoing pain and discomfort. She called to complain and the best that was offered was a "discount on the next massage." No apology. Not that we even would want another massage from this place. This was not the relaxing or therapeutic experience we expected. Unfortunately, we do not recommend this place. read more

Been coming to this wonderful place for several years but sadly it's gone downhill since ownership changed. Today was incredibly disappointing, I was so looking forward to my visit for a 2hr massage. Unfortunately, the masseuse spent 20 minutes using her elbow to apply pressure up and down along my spine. Yes, pressure points are great, but gets tiresome and annoying after the 4th pass. I asked her to start the Swedish massage, and she used her forearm to along my back. Is she ever going to work in the knits in my neck or shoulder? I'm not a masseuse but most places start there before moving down to the back, then arms. 40 minutes into my massage, I just asked to stop as it was more frustrating than relaxing. My body was in dire need of a massage recently. Unfortunately my regular massage place closed around 7 pm, so I had to find another place that stayed open a little bit later and could accommodate me. I chose Queen Massage even though it's way more expensive than my regular massage place because it was close to me, and the Yelp rating looked decent. I called ahead to make sure they could take me. When I arrived, I was asked to pay for the massage before the service. There was a $1 credit card fee. While paying, I saw a sign with suggested tips: $15 for one smiley face, $20 for two, $25 for three. The person behind the counter said I could tip with Venmo after the massage. He then took me to one of the rooms to undress and get ready. Lo and behold, there's yet another sign in the room with the tip suggestions. After waiting for a few minutes, a massage therapist finally walked in. I didn't get her name, but she started with light pressure. I was hoping the pressure would increase after a few minutes, but it stayed light for a while that I could barely feel it even though I'm a bony petite lady. I asked her for more pressure, and she said she would have to charge me $10 more for a deep tissue massage. I had been getting massages for over a decade, and this was the first time I received this kind of response. I reluctantly said okay since $10 more would be worth it if I left the place relaxed and feeling much better than when I walked in rather than wasting $51. She then went to the other extreme and went really hard, elbowing me in one spot for what felt like forever that I could not tolerate the pain anymore and asked her to stop. Hot stone was included because I checked in on Yelp. Overall, it was a horrible massage. I also don't like all the signs pressuring customers to tip at least $15 for a meh massage. When the staff asked how my massage was, I couldn't lie and just said, "Meh." At least the massage therapist didn't end up charging me $10 extra for "deep tissue massage." I still tipped $15 because I just wanted to get out of there ASAP and did not want to get heckled for "undertipping." I went to my regular massage place a week later and it was so good I dozed off during the session. Even better, my regular place was much cheaper. I don't recommend this place, and I'm not planning on going back to Queen Massage. read more

I haven't had a massage in awhile, and came here because of the high reviews and distance. in terms of massage, I felt like my masseuse could've went a bit harder in some areas. Overall, I really liked the massage but have had better massages at other places. I also got a foot detox and cupping done in the same session. The foot detox was $20 and the cupping was $20. I've never had a foot detox or cupping done before so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The cupping hurt initially, but the pain goes away after a minute or so! read more

This review is long overdue. I visited this place for the first time about 3 months ago. I booked a one-hour foot only massage. I ended up not getting a foot only massage. It was ok but I really just wanted what I asked for. Not a bad place but if you want something specific, you have to repeat it like 5 times.
