I stopped by on a whim, and I'm glad I did. It was a Wednesday morning so the place wasn't very busy. I was able to sign in and be seated right away. I got a full set and originally wanted one color; but after completing we talked through it and I got the original French tip. It was not too long and to my liking. I can't wait to return. read more

It's so hard to find a good nail tech in a new city but if you are new to Austin, stop looking, come to Queen in Pflugerville and ask for Jenny. Always an amazing job on my nails and I'm very picky about color and shape, here I can relax and let Jenny do my nails without watching the whole process because they always come out stunning. She is meticulous when it comes to shaping my nails and getting the lengths to match even with my bent finger and uneven nail beds. read more

First impression: My first time here because the place I usually go to is closed on Mondays so I decided to check this place out. I will definitely be switching to this salon! They offer so many services, have so many more color options, and the quality of the work is also better. Dayana did a great job listening to what I wanted and I love my nails. I came here for the first time after getting referred by my fiance. I needed to get my eyebrows and a manicure for my upcoming wedding. I had set up an appointment but decided to come a day early. It wasn't crowded at the time I came which was about 4:15pm. I was greated immediately and told to check in at the kiosk. All the technicians we're busy. The wait was short about 10 minutes. I got my eyebrows waxed, the lady was very communicative as it was my first time ever doing that. The wax and pull experience was a breeze. My eyebrows came out evenly like I wanted them. Next I had to wait for nail technician it was a short wait. My manicure came out good. I even got a hand massage with lotion. I will definitely come back here and I recommend you come here as well. The customer service was good they greeted everyone that walked in whole I was being attented to and gave them an expectation of long to wait. Great service!!! read more

I went on a Thursday after work. Got there at 5:15pm. Lady told me to sign in. Asked me twice what I was getting...pedi and a fill. She tells me too pick my color. I sit another 10 minutes. Then I go to get my toes done first. She ran the water, but it was COLD. Sit another 10/15 minutes. The young girl did a good job, she's the only reason I rated a 2. Offered me a margarita too. So she tells me to dry my toes for 10 minutes under the light. Then it's 7:38pm and I'm still sitting. I was like I'm just going to pay for my toes and go. While getting change the lady comes up front to help give me change and hav3 a good evening. I told her y'all ruined that by having me sit here 2hrs. She had the nerve to say, I didn't know you wanted your nails done. WTF!?!? Just give me my change and I'm out! Waste of time!!! read more

Went here a couple of days before my wedding and I wish I read more reviews. I saw the high rating so I thought nothing more of it. They weren't rude, but most definitely rushed, despite it only being me and my two ladies in the entire place plus their staff. Got a manicure and pedicure, was offered a drink but didn't get a chance to enjoy it because they did my hands and feet at the same time. Love the fact that I didn't have to spend 2+ hours there but I wanted some time to relax before the big day and instead I felt more stressed and rushed. Okay fine, but then I noticed they cut too deep on one of my nails (not great for wedding pics and burned while curing the gel), messed up my toe nails, and cut my fingernails too short (again not great for wedding pics). UPDATE: My nails may have been uneven to begin with but they were ALL at least 3 times the length I ended up with, so sad excuse. Never was I asked if I cared if I finished the same time as ONE of my guests (I would have preferred to actually enjoy my time and not feel rushed), and I spent more than 30 min under the dryer for my toe nails, while waiting for my 4th guest that showed up after I was already done. read more

She looks you wrong as soon as you walk in with a baby. I took my mom,sister,aunt and sister in law with appointments for all of us and came out really unsatisfy. Visited for the first time yesterday and it was a pretty good experience. My daughter and I both got pedicures and fills. I prefer regular nail polish and there wasn't a great selection but they do have lots of gel/dipping powder products. Worst experience ever. Pedicure I now have 4 raw places from using hard buffer. My SnS was done while pedi. Not good, and the mani I got after was horrific. I left bleeding and head spinning from the charge and incompetence. There are a lot of better places and who actually care. read more

Just wanted to say that if you are a mommy and have to bring your baby with you, Please go spend your money elsewhere. I decide to go get my nails done at this place with my cousin's since they recommended this place. But after the experience I had today I will not spend my money here again. My 4 month old started to become fuzzy and within the first minute I already had JENNY telling me if I had a pacifier or bottle for my baby. I took it as if she was telling me to "stick something on my child's mouth so he would stop crying". I understand other people go to nail salons to relax, but the approach she took about the situation made me feel as if me and my child weren't welcome there. We had to wait for one of my cousins to finish getting her nails done and it wasn't until all the customers left that they decided to try and accommodate me. But that was when my baby was already at sleep. Really bad customer service. NOT KID FRIENDLY, or BABY. The service that Daniela provided to me was great, she was the only one there that made me feel welcome. read more

Absolutely horrible! Went in with my daughter to get a simple gel pedicure for us both and to get gel manicures with a nail take off for me! pretty simple you would think, in there for over two hours THEY HAD NO WAITING CUSTOMERS; left without getting my nails painted the lady was so rude, absolutely horrible do not waste your time or money at this nail salon! She wanted to give me a sloppy manicure and leave my acrylic nail on but damn sure was gonna charge for a nail take off! The pedicure was rushed and sloppy. Homegirl couldn't even do a decent kids pedicure! :/ horrible all the way across the board! This place is a joke! Person rushed on my feet, attitude, messed my toes up and didn't want to fix it, after asking again she finally "fixed it" but it came out ugly and I am Unsatisfied with my toes. If you don't speak up they will try to take advantage of you and get more money. They originally told me one price and then told me something different when it was time to pay. And then said I agreed to a price, when I did not and showed me camera footage of that proved my point but wanted me to pay more than the price listed. Absolutely PHENOMENAL!!!! I went in the middle of a Monday and they were not busy at all. Very very clean. Very sweet staff. I called ahead to see if there was a wait to get an acrylic fill and the gentleman said that I could come in now so I put it in my GPS and realized it's 5 minutes from my house!! I also loved catching the subtle scent of essential oils during my session -- a huge bonus since I love incorporating them into my life. I love this salon! I've been going to Jenny since February 2020 and she never disappoints! I used to get my nails done all of the time but the 2 times prior to Jenny I had horrible experiences. The ladies shaved my nail down so thin and my nails were fragile and breaking. Since going to a Jenny my nails have never been stronger. They grow quickly and are nice and healthy. I get acrylic on my natural nail and when COVID hit and the salon was closed I had to finally soak my nails off. I was so pleased that under the acrylic was a strong and healthy nail! John also is a great nail technician! He's done my nails a couple of times and they were beautiful. The salon is clean, they play dope music and the way Jenny designed it is glamorous but still chill. Pricing is reasonable. They have every color you can imagine in polish, gel and acrylic. I've never been told they couldn't do something I was looking for. Overall love this salon and the vibes that they have. I cannot recommend this salon enough! 10 out of 10. I have been coming here for quite a while now and I've found the staff to be kind and professional! Appointments are best, but they will always do their best to squeeze you in if you drop in instead. I've had to drop in myself and the wait is never excessive, even though they stay quiet busy. My regular technician is Ben, he's amazing! I love to do crazy artwork on my nails , but I can't have long nails because of my job duties. He can do amazing artwork on relatively short nails though. I used to go to a few different salons and I will not go anywhere but Queen Nails & Spa again. The service cannot be beat!! This nail salon is my new favorite place to be pampered. Everyone is always friendly. The technicians truly care about the customer's experience. The salon is beautiful and modernized. There are many drink choices to choose from. I usually get acrylic nail sets and the Queen Pedicure. I am very picky with my nails, but I have never been disappointed. After giving it some thought, I do believe I clearly communicated what I wanted, and I ultimately feel that I may have been overcharged. To start with the positives, I called ahead to see if they had availability for a walk-in. They told me it would be about 30 minutes, but I was welcome to come early and sit in one of the massage chairs while I waited. I appreciated that and did exactly that. It was relaxing to sit in the chair while they finished with other clients. Once they were ready, my pedicure began. I originally selected a lower-tier service, but the technician explained the Detox Pedicure very well and suggested upgrading. I agreed, and overall the pedicure experience itself was pleasant. While the pedicure was being done, another technician started on my hands with the manicure, but when another walk-in client arrived, that technician left to start a pedicure for the new client. The technician finishing my pedicure then move to her station and continued with my manicure and applied the clear dip. It was a seamless transition and excellent team work. I will say that I did like the quality of her work on my manicure and the dip. However, I did notice something with my pedicure. I had asked for clear polish on my toenails, and while it was drying it looked like some white dust had settled on the polish. I was trying to figure out how to mention it, but when the technician later applied oil to my toenails, the white appearance seemed to disappear and the nails looked glossy, so I assumed it had just needed to be brushed off. When I took a shower later that day my nails looked like I originally saw with a white dusty and matte look to it with some spot shiny. When I went to the register, I was surprised that the total was $130 before tip. I had calculated the $55 Detox Pedicure plus the $45 dip manicure, which I thought would be around $100. I assumed I may have miscalculated and didn't question it at the time, so I paid and left a 20% tip ($26) for a total of $156. When I got to my car and reviewed the receipt, I noticed there was an additional $10 charge listed for a "Cuticle Trim", along with a $20 "Additional Charge". $30 extra on to the bill. At most salons I've been to, the price of a dip manicure already includes the basic manicure prep such as cuticle trimming and nail shaping before the dip is applied. I get my nails done fairly regularly, and this is the first time I've ever been charged a separate and unclear $10 cuticle trim and $20 additional charge fee on top of the dip manicure price. The menu did not clearly indicate this additional charge, and it was never communicated to me beforehand. While I did enjoy the service quality of the manicure and the overall pedicure experience, I was not happy with the final finish of my toenails and was especially disappointed by the lack of transparency in pricing. This experience left me feeling unsettled. Clear communication about pricing, especially additional fees, is important so clients can make informed decisions before services are performed. Unfortunately, I don't feel that happened here. For that I don't plan on returning.
