I just moved to Austin from Seattle and have been trying to find my new nail place and it's safe to say I've found it!! I saw other reviews and decided to come here after having a not-so-great experience at a different salon on the west side. Annie did an amazing job with my dip manicure. She is very detail oriented and took her time to make sure I got what I wanted. This place is about a 20 minute drive from where I live, but it's absolutely worth it. They took me as a walk in. There was a small wait but it was worth it. I got a premium pedicure sling with a manicure. The pedicure was great. She took her time and the massage on the calves was much needed. It was my first time getting a manicure while still in the pedicure chair but I enjoyed not having to move. The location was well lit and very clean. read more

I love H&H nail spa! They always do a great job and take their time when doing your nails. Lindsey does such a great job - I've never had a better experience at nail salon. Definitely sticking with them! I had to go to a different salon recently for a bridal party nail gathering and it was the worst experience I've had! This was my second time to this spa, and I don't think I'll be back. When I got home, I looked classic spa pedicure for thirty five dollars specifically at H&Hs. I did not get a sugar scrub, and I got one swipe up my calfs and 1 swipe down with a hot towel. Nothing on my feet at all, no massage. I asked for massage on my feet even said I was willing to pay extra and he just sat there giggling. Tried to upsale me on more expensive pedicure. I don't fall for that anymore. I don't need 6 different creams slathered on my calfs. Very disappointed. read more

Hello...Today was my first visit and I was lucky enough to get Annie to do my mani/pedi. I recently came home after being hospitalized for nearly 4 months. I'd had swollen legs and feet that are better now but still show the ravages... I'll just say that between the legs and the ingrown toenails, I was a mess!! Annie was SO sweet and gentle and very professional. I was worried that blood might be spilled:). In no time, I had beautiful, pre hospital nails. -DONT DO IT! Just moved to the area. Wanted a simple gel mani. I was the only person. But the lady doing my nails was painting my nails like a 5 year old on crack. She shaped my nails and didn't even ask how I wanted them. The gel peeled off within 3 days. It was the worst nail job ever. The cuticles were not clipped off. I've been doing my nails for over 10 years and after going here I am investing in my own stuff to do it at home. It was that bad! read more

Came here exactly a week ago today. Didn't get to write this review earlier, but here it is. I am new to the area and was excited to try this salon. I made an appointment at 10am for a mani with dip ombré and pedi with regular polish. When I went in, I told the lady there (Kim) I had an appt and she looked at me like she wasn't aware. But she sat me down bc I was the only person there. Lindsay did an amazing job with my feet. The pedicure experience was the best I've had in years. Kim did my nails. I showed her a pic of what I wanted and while she got it almost close, they all started peeling by Friday afternoon! She completed one hand and a previous client came in as they had an issue with nails falling off. She left me after finishing one hand to go work on the other client. I thought it was okay since it would be a quick fix. She was gone for over 20 min! One of them kept saying the picture had chrome in it and I kept saying no. Instead of arguing back and forth I just said it was fine to do the chrome. She finally came back to finish the other hand. No drilling was done to remove excess underneath my nails. There was glue or polish from the UV light that was stuck on my finger (see picture) that they did not remove. This is not my first time, been getting my nails done for 15 years. This is the first time that my nails were not clean all around and no cream or cuticle oils or anything. I didn't let them remove the stuck on polish or glue on my finger because I had already been there since 10am and it was 1245 by the time I left. This design should NOT have taken that long to get done, especially when I was the first and only client in the salon at 10am. Very disappointed and extremely sad because I did this before I left for my CA trip and it only lasted 2 1/2 days. read more

I went with one of my friends for a fun nail appointment! Lindsey and Kim were incredible! Extremely friendly and welcoming and took their time to make sure our nails were done perfectly! They paid attention to details and did not take shortcuts with anything! We never felt rushed - we felt prioritized the entire time! Truly some hard working women in this salon! Highly recommend making an appointment as they are a small staff. Best pedi I've had in lord knows how long and they really take care of you without feeling like you're being ripped off. I walked in to check this place out today and WOW! It's a fairly new nail salon and the staff is very friendly and talented. The salon is very clean inside and I love how many choices they have of colors, designs, and nail styles. Andy did an amazing job on my nails and toes! He was so friendly, gentle and precise in his work. I will 100% be returning and will make this my "go to" nail salon. All services were 20% off and they even gave each customer little lotion as a gift when you checkout. The only downside is there's limited parking options but that is definitely not a deal breaker for me. I will be returning! read more

My daughter and I just left here and am very disappointed. I've had tons of pedicures all over the place and this was the worst. First, she cut my toe nail completely crooked and it looks weird. I was thirsty, but neither my daughter or I were ever offered a drink. My daughter is 9, so I figured simple pedicure means simple price like most places, nope. $28 for a kids pedicure that took 10 to 15 minutes. As for my pedicure, there was no soaking time and the lady went straight to pulling out the cheese grater without putting any of the callous cream on. I actually said something at that point and she put the cream on but did a pour job of making soft feet because they hadn't soaked in water or the cream for more than seconds. Then I go to pay and see the sign about the extra charge for paying with credit card, I pay with cash. She takes everything off the bill to adjust for cash pay, enters it all back in and comes up to the same price. Interesting 5% off of $63 is equal to $63 apparently. If just one or two of these things happened, I'd just blow it off like I usually do, but all this added together made me leave very angry. I won't be back read more

This my new go to salon for pedicures! I went out on a limb to try this salon because of the reviews and the fact that it is close to my house. The salon was very clean and quiet. It's pretty small, so I expect when it is busy it may be hard to get in, but I walked in around noon and was seated right away. The owner was nice and asked if I wanted anything to drink. The lady who did my pedicure was AMAZING. I got the deluxe pedicure and she massaged my legs and feet for a while and did a wax treatment and hot towel treatment. She did the gel polish meticulously and helped me pick a cute light pink color. Will be back! read more

I'm new to this area so I googled best nail salons and H&H popped up. My 1st time visiting this salon and was pleasantly HAPPY. I read reviews prior to going and made an appointment with Kim. The salon I'd been going to in Cedar Park has shut down, so I've been trying some of the ones closer to Pfl. This was the first one I tried. This salon was a bit smaller than the one I'd been going to. Decor was plain, but comfortable, as were the massage chairs. The technician did an OK job, but did make me jump once when she was working around an ingrown nail. I thought it was taken care of, until I tried another salon 6 weeks later, and that technician corrected the issue painlessly. Check my other reviews if you want to see the name of that salon. Absolutely horrible. I had them redo my nails several times and they still couldn't get it right. i asked the lady to do them one solid color but she insisted on ombré so she can get the extra money. I got them soaked off 5 days later because they never grew on me and i hated them. Bad shape and everything. read more

When I asked why the nail looked so bad, the technician told me I needed to see a doctor. That was alarming. If a tech suspects infection, they should not continue the service. Instead, she kept working. The skin around the nail is now red, crusted, painful, and the nail is discolored. These problems commonly happen when: * The cuticle is cut or pushed back too aggressively * Tools are not disinfected between clients * Nail clippers and cuticle nippers are not properly sterilized * Foot files, buffers, or pumice stones are reused, which traps bacteria and fungus * The pedicure tubs are not fully disinfected or the liners are reused * Implements are left out in unclean areas where contaminants spread I also noticed visible mold or mildew buildup underneath the pedicure bowls. That alone is a major health code violation. It suggests surfaces and water systems are not being properly cleaned or disinfected, increasing the risk of cross-contamination. I am now having to seek medical care for a possible bacterial infection in my toe, which is extremely frustrating because it is preventable with proper hygiene standards. I will be filing a report with the health department based on what I experienced and what I saw. I would strongly recommend that others avoid this salon until their sanitation practices are corrected

Finally we were told someone was available for my nails and My daughter was next in line for a pedicure after waiting for over 30 minute. A few caucasian women walked in and they told us they will have to get them in first cause they would pay more. They were walk ins so I was so confused and my daughter was upset and sad. Due to this being her first experience and it turned out this way. We ended up leaving to go to another nail shop so her day wasn't spoiled by horrible people. She's only 9 might I add. I highly don't recommend these rude people at all. The vibe was giving racist and money hungry. No wonder its rating is so low. They're not very nice people at all!

The rushed atmosphere made it difficult to enjoy the appointment, and I left feeling more like a number than a valued customer. While the pricing may attract some people, I personally will not be returning. Good service is worth paying for, and unfortunately, this salon did not meet my expectations.
