During this visit, my spouse selected the basic pedicure package, which clearly included regular nail polish color -- not gel polish. However, when we went to pay, they suddenly charged us an extra $18 claiming that gel polish had been used. We calmly explained multiple times that only the standard/basic color was selected and no gel service was requested at all. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the employee who did the pedicure became extremely rude, started speaking aggressively in their own language, and accused us of lying. The male owner was also very dismissive and repeatedly insisted that we had used gel polish even after we explained the misunderstanding. Thankfully, the female owner acknowledged that the worker made a false accusation and agreed to refund the extra $18 charge. We appreciated that part, but the overall experience was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. Customers should be very cautious when visiting this place. Double-check every service before paying, and make sure you clearly confirm what is being applied during your appointment. Unfortunately, there also seems to be a significant communication/language barrier, which made resolving the issue even more frustrating. Very disappointed after being repeat customers.
