I really don't understand these reviews on here. I love this nail salon. They do an amazing job with the designs and the polish lasts unlike other nail salons I have visited in town. I have traveled all over the US and the ladies here are the best I have encountered, always friendly and professional to everyone that walks in the door. I've been going here for years, always ALWAYS great service. They are kind and friendly, and if you go often enough they greet you by name and ask about your family, I always feel welcomed there. Sometimes they are busy, to be expected - it's a great place, so I try and go when it's less busy. I've tried several in town and pedis are far better at Queen Nails. read more

I bought my wife a gift certificate to Queen Nails. She had been going there for some time. The young lady that worked with her for so long is no longer available. The past 2 trips to the salon were out and out disasters! One occasion the color was put on so thin and you could see through to the nail itself. Some of the nails were wavy and had visible brush strokes. My 4 year old granddaughter could have done a better job. The last time my wife had her nails done, she took in a picture of the colors of the nails and tips. It simply didn't turn out in the same color spectrum. The finished product, once again, was irregular and poorly finished. She will never return. read more

The woman who did my nails was a bumbling idiot. She doesn't know how to do any design. I asked for a lily, it looked like a star. So then I said just do a Rose, and it looks like a bullseye. I was so pissed and just left. I will never go back a again. read more

This is my favorite nail salon in town. They actually honor appointments when you make them and they always have new colors for you to try.

In my seemingly never ending quest to find a good nail salon in the Sioux City; Queen Nails is a fail and waste of money. I had to take off the polish when I got home. The guy tried to skip the base coat & then got irritated when I asked why he wasn't using one. Then he wouldn't wait between the base, color, and top coats for each to have the appropriate amount of time to dry so the Polish was gummy and wouldn't dry properly. Also the guy bumped my nail and smeared the polish; instead of taking the polish off and reapplying he tried to just put another coat over the lumpy smudged polish. I am a cosmetologist so I'm fully aware of what is and isn't good practice in a salon and spa. It's not like painting nails is rocket science or I had too high of expectations. I do however expect more out of a business and from individuals who claim to be licensed professionals. I won't be going back. read more

Rude. Not from this area but I wished I had paused to read the 2 reviews before going to this place while visiting. I only needed a manicure but the way they acted you would've thought I asked them to do something for free! They were very rude once they realized that's all I wanted, 2 people asked me a total of 7 times if I wanted shellac which I kindly told them no thanks I just need a manicure. After the piss poor cuticle job she applied lotion then looked annoyed as she slammed the polish in front of me and said "can you open this" (btw this was their polish bottle) uh no you just put lotion on my hands. She painted my nails with so much polish it was literally very thick in some areas and did not have the fan going so I could dry in between. No Base coat was used either. She dragged my MK purse from her station to the drying station with my shoulder strap on the floor and she even got her foot caught on it and stepped on it. Never again. Be happy with any service you get not just the ones over $25! read more
