Horrible service. The woman that helped me seemed to be bothered because I did not order expensive stuff. I told her I wanted a plain mani and pedi and she insisted on getting gel and sea scrubs and all this extra stuff that I told her I didn't want. When she did my nails she left them full of bubbles and I told her I wasn't happy so she did them again and they still had a lot of bubbles. When I told her to redo them she had an attitude and as she was removing the nail polish I could feel she was yanking on my fingers because she was mad. The place is dirty and the ceiling has mold. The owner sits around the store with no shoes and his dirty feel on top of the chairs. This place is disgusting and I am never coming back...and I don't recommend it. Really disappointed with the owner and how she manages her business. She gets loud with customers when she's in the wrong. At first she would take appointments, then she changed her policies and wouldn't take appointments. As a customer you work with that. But when you show up first hour to catch your lady and they said she has an appointment? Something isn't adding up. I tried them yesterday for mani and pedi. I guess they've been around a while because everything looks worn and not do clean. The gel set machine was so dirty I was afraid to put my hands in it. I've been to Queen Nails two times. Both times have been pleasant. I was greeted by friendly faces, and both times my nails have been done by Lynn. She's very attentive, gentle, and you can just recognize her expertise as a nail tech. She listens and tries to give you what you asked for, i have been very happy with my sets done by her. I walked in for the first time today because I took a chance some where knew and I was very disappointed in the results with the full set gel nails I had done. Environment as nice and employees seemed friendly but I have no clue as to why my nails were done so thick and uneven . I didn't have the time for anyone to fix anything because I had other things to do for the celebration I'm attending but now I am embarrassed to show my hands because of The quality of work done . I doubt it was his first time doing nails or maybe he just wanted me out of there ASAP but if I am paying 30$ I would expect my nails to look way better than how they were left . I've been coming here since I was 15, when they first opened. Lynn and Jimmy are amazing. Even when i don't come to them for a while, i always come back and they welcome me as if I never left them. My last visit I came for a fill and had told them I wanted a green but I didn't see it on the choices they had; so I showed Jimmy a picture and he matched it exactly. I love my nails. I just moved to the area and this was the first place i go to. This place is DIRTY. Its very uncomfortable to sit knowing nothing around you is cleaned or sanitized. I went to the back to get my eyebrows waxed. All i see on top of my head is spider webs on top of the bed and right above the products they use for facials. Never coming back very unprofessional. The nail lady was not careful and cut her finger, it didn't stop bleeding for over an hour. When I washed my hands their paper towel dispenser didn't work and they had one wet hand towel for everyone to use near the sink. This place is sooo horrible !! Very poor customer service and super stingy with their nail polishes. I wanted to use regular nail polish from the dnd color brand and they denied me uses those colors ! They wanted me to select the ones on the wall that looked super cheap ! They wanted me to get gel in order to use the dnd brand which also comes with a matching regular nail polish. This place need to close down !!! read more

I must say this is my go-to place! Although it doesn't look modern or updated, I'd rather come here than any other fancy expensive salon. Jimmy is my guy and he never disappoints! He knows what he's doing and if you have any blemish that can't be covered up by nail polish, he knows how to make it work. There's nothing royal ("Queen Nails") about this place. The restroom is filled with dead and live cockroaches!!!! The owners are aware of the problem because they have roach traps and Raid spray in the restroom but it is NOT working. This is my first here. I liked the work that was to me. And for that, I give it a 4.7 stars. On the other hand: not pleased with the lack of communication for added services. You'll end up being charged MORE then you anticipated. But, when ever that happens --like it happened to me, today-- please stand your ground, and pay for what you requested. Note: Advocate for your rights in a strong respectful voice. For instance, When ever a customer is NOT communicated the extra services done to them, it is the customer's right to stand their ground and pay for the service requested. Having said that, I advice that you ask --before hand-- what services are covered. For example, if you ask for a $16.99 full set, then inquire "Is a particular size/shape, color, and/or polish type (e.g, gel polish) covered in this service? In my experience, the technicians will fail to communicate the extra charges, which will result--on your end-- paying a different value. Case in point for today's visit: The technician failed to communicate that I was going to be charged extra for the my color choice (it was a gel polish), and for the round shape filing. This is what I call a Big Fat SCAM. At the register, the manager--which by the way--refused to provide her, was charging me $32. And although I explained to her about the lack of communication about extra charges, she was adamant to still charge me at least $28 for the ERROR on their part. Long story short, the argument escalated. She (manager) twisted the situation and turned it against me. It was not pleasant, and I am proud for threatening to call the police. She felt intimidated and I was feeling so disappointed, and she was feeling so angry. Conclusion: I was upset at first, but at the end she was furious for not being able to rip me off. Because at the end, I stood my ground and paid only $17. But of course, I made sure that I told her, 'your ways of doing business are very sneaky and abusive. And it's not right.' Reflection: These small businesses expect for you to know their system. But, I did not let them scam me. So please, don't let that happen to you. It is their job to communicate with you about additional charges, and to tell you what exactly is covered for the service requested. On the other hand, prices are reasonable and I actually did like my nail, plus the speedy work. I'm sad I can't go back. so I used to love going to this place. jimmy who does airbrush gets down and I would always leave with amazing nails and for my toes I would always ask for diamond because she puts in a lot of effort to make sure your toes are clean and gives your legs an amazing rub down. lately this place has gone in a downwards spiral, jimmy has been acting very rude and his wife also so I just stopped going. why am I going to spend my money at a place where I don't feel welcomed. Although it was busy and they were missing staff, they did amazing keeping everyone happy. Jimmy is absolutely Fabulous!!! I saw his great reviews on here and was lucky to have him to my nails.
