However, this time the gel polish application wasn't perfect. Not painted evenly/spots were missed (check photos) but I'm alright with it because I didn't notice until I got home. FYI a Fill for Gel-X is the same price as a new set but I didn't have as much time today so I opted the Fill.

I didn't have a great experience, just an average one and so I wasn't going to write a review…read morebecause part of me felt like okay, maybe my standards are a little too high because I have this amazing nail salon in the city that I go to and they are unmatched by any nail salon I've ever gone to and they have great prices but alas I have moved from the city 2 yrs ago and have been trying to find a local nail salon. This one had good reviews on Google but I should have checked Yelp. To start, when I was getting my pedicure and the technician used the exfoliating brush, she pushed to hard, cut my skin off, and said nothing and didn't address the fact I was now bleeding. Then my daughter pointed out a roach behind the pedicure chairs. Next, when it was time for the color, they used the wrong color on me and my daughter because they don't have a good system in place and have, for example, 4 different colors that are all number 1 because they are different brands of polish so me and my daughter had to choose a different color, albeit similar so it was okay, but still a delay and inconvenience. Then when it was time to pay, the manager/owner (?) wanted to charge me more than what she had said on the phone. In the end, she kept her word but still frustrating to have to go back and forth and deal with that. But the thing that made me write this review is that my gel manicure didn't even last for 24 hours. I woke up this morning and about a third of one nail is without polish. I've never had gel last less than 2 weeks and this didn't even last 2 days! I had my nails done because I have a party this weekend and now it looks like trash. Nothing exquisite about this nails or this nail salon. My search for a Hamptons nail salon continues...

This was absolutely the worst nail salon I have ever been to. I waited 2 hours in a pedicure chair…read morebefore even being touched and I had an appointment. They took 4 clients before seeing me. The man got in several fights with his staff in front of a full room of clients and hen proceeded to chase two clients down the street accusing them of not paying. To be honest I would have not even come back after being chased down the street. Fighting with a customer is absolutely unacceptable on any level and to then have a screaming match in front of other customers not once but 3 times, mortifying. I feel terrible for the staff who have to work for someone like this. Don't attempt to walk in or make an appointment, you'll sit for 2 hours.
