Boy, this mall doesn't seem to get alot of love. Though I don't shop at most of the stores here, I'm grateful to have Target, Best Buy, & Macy's Furniture not too far away; I also, enjoy the Teriyaki One that's a relative new tenant. There's parking on the roof of the building; I'm pretty sure it's paid parking. It's weird if you try to google QPM's website, it'll take you straight to Target's website. Their Facebook page seems to highlight just several of the businesses there, which doesn't help the ones not mentioned. Other stores here include, Gong Cha, Red Lobster, Chipotle, among others.

Queens place mall not the biggest mall but it serves it purpose. I have been coming to this mall for years ..me and my wife shopping at target and stopping off at one of my favorite technology stores best buy wow for some new tech to add to my collection. This place has become somewhat of a pastime for us shopping here especially during the holidays with the decorations and oniments..along with the Christmas music and Christmas tree. It is such a good feeling shopping at the mall during the holidays .going to jc Penney or victor secret on if my wife's favorite places . These are some good memories in this particular mall .that makes shopping together here more memorable .after stopping at a few more spots like urban outfitters. We have gotten a little hungry and now we going to one our favorite restaurant in queens place mall red lobster. This is were we come after shopping all the time to get some of those famous red lobster biscuits. Along with Meal and sit down and enjoy our selves for a few hours. The atmosphere is always upbeat and peaceful at red lobster and the staff is also ..so we will definitely go back to this mall I'm glad this place is in my favorite borough.

Queens Place Mall is a medium size mall. It's not as large or as interesting as nearby Queens Center Mall. They don't seem to have a website. The directory in the mall listed 16 stores. The mall isn't particularly fun to wander or explore. There are 6 total floors. Some of the escalators were broken. There's Wi-Fi but I didn't use it since there's an annoying spam sign up process. I didn't see any bathrooms, but there are some inside the Target. There are a few restaurants, but most didn't have seating. The mall isn't exactly near a subway station. It's half-way between Grand Ave. and Woodhaven Blvd.

Queens Place Mall is an annex of a larger mall, Queens Center Mall, that sits in Elmhurst, Queens, NY. It contains essential stores: Target, Best Buy, DSW, Outback Steakhouse, Red Lobster, etc. It gets the job done for groceries, hygiene products, shoes, and lunch while you shop. It is very dated and limited for the lack thereof variety of stores.

Not to be confused with the larger Queens Center nearby / next door, the QPM is just fine.

The only reason to shop here is because of Target, the rest of the mall is creepy and depressing.

The variety of stores here is like a buffet for your wallet, offering a little something for everyone. I love visiting occasionally to shop and hang out with friends. It's a great spot to bond over spontaneous purchases and the eternal debate of whether we really need another pair of shoes. I used to be a regular here, practically a mall rat. But, you know, adulting happened. Still, every trip down these halls is a stroll down memory lane. Malls are like dinosaurs - magnificent, nostalgic, and unfortunately, a bit endangered. But I hope this one never goes extinct. It holds too many memories, and let's be real, where else am I going to find a place with such a perfectly balanced blend of capitalism and camaraderie in the five boroughs?

This outdoor…read moremall is located in Glendale and consists of 5 main buildings with a green plaza-type area in the middle. Stores are located on ground, first and second floors, there are some commercial office spaces too. Parking is available for a fee in either structures or in the spaces directly in front of the stores. There are a fair number of stores for what is essentially a glorified strip mall, it's not quite large enough to make it a serious shopping destination, more of a come-by-for-specific stores kind of place. Of the approximately 50 businesses here, a dozen are commercial offices, another dozen service/utility stores (doctors offices, glasses store, UPS, T-mobile), a Regal Cinemas movie theater, a couple hobby stores (anime/manga, games, Bee's Arts & Crafts), several food/drink spots, some apparel/accessories stores (Foot Locker, Forever 21, TJ Maxx, White House/Black Market, Sacca's Suits), a few sports facilities (swim school, NY Sports Club, karate school, laser tag/bounce family fun center) and two home furnishing stores (Home Goods and Ashley Furniture). Probably wouldn't go out of my way to come here though I can see how it's convenient to have these store nearby for those that live in the area. There is a fun 3-story tall street art mural of a boy with big ears on one of the parking structure outer walls.

There's a Chili's, CPK, Pot Noodle, Subway, Don Nico (Mexican) as well as an Auntie Anne's, Mr. Cow's Corndogs, Starbucks, Cold Stone (ice cream) & Hokkaido Cheese Tarts. Not to mention, the biggest T.J.Maxx & Five Below I've ever been to in NY. There's also a HomeGoods, Laser Bounce (arcade), Slime Time, Ulta, Footlocker, an arts & crafts studio, movie theater and a few toy stores. Can definitely be a fun time with kids- the girls even played frisbee & volleyball on the synthetic grass, got bubble tea from Pot Noodle, which was surprisingly good and won some prizes from Laser Bounce too. Not an ideal place for clothing shopping and the parking was quite expensive- $30 for 4 hours but either way, we'll be back :)

It is named for the neighborhood of Woodside, which lies in northwestern Queens, abutting Long Island City. During New York's colonial period, Woodside was known as "suicide's paradise," as it was largely snake-infested swamps and wolf-ridden woodlands. The Dutch gave Father John Doughty, a colonist from Massachusetts, a charter for 13,000 acres in 1642, and thus began the region's settlement. During the mid-1800s, several wealthy men moved from Charleston, South Carolina to build mansions in the region, including John Kelly. Kelly's son John Andrew Kelly worked as a newspaper man and wrote a set of articles entitled "Letters from Woodside," after his view of the woods from his window. When developer Benjamin Hitchcock bought the Kelly estate in 1867 to develop a village, he favored the name Woodside over "suicide's paradise" for his new town. Woodside saw a huge building boom in 1869, when Hitchcock broke the Kelly farm into lots, which he sold for between $100 and $300 each. He also built streets in the village, and his interest encouraged other builders to join in developing the area. Eventually, other large estates were sold and developed. The Long Island and the Flushing Rail Road companies merged and opened a station in Woodside in 1895. When the Queensboro Bridge opened in 1909, the population of Woodside rose to nearly six thousand people. Elevated train lines branched into the neighborhood and opened in 1917, causing the population to jump again. In the 1920s, the last tracts of undeveloped land disappeared. After World War II, many of the houses in Woodside were torn down to make way for apartment buildings. Woodside Plaza, located at the junction of Roosevelt Avenue, Woodside Avenue, and 60th Street, was originally known as Woodside Memorial Park after its construction in 1971. Commissioner Stern renamed the property "Woodside Plaza" in 1998. There is a large monument in the park, made of smooth gray marble, with the following inscription in gold lettering: "WOODSIDE MEMORIAL PARK: Dedicated to all members of the community who made the supreme sacrifice for the good and welfare of their country and for the peace and freedom of mankind. THE WORLD WARS, KOREA, AND VIETNAM." Also in the park are several young trees and new plantings including Willowleaf cotoneaster (Cotoneaster salicifolius), Siberian cypress (Microbiota decussata), lillyturf (Liriope muscari "Big Blue"), cranesbill (Geranium masculatum), Bloody geranium (Geranium sanguineum), Evergreen barrenwort (Epidium davidii), Threadleaf bluestar (Amsonia hubrechtii), Meadow sage (Salvia pratensis), and comfrey (Symphytum officinale). The property is paved with square and hexagonal tiles. There are several sets of wooden benches, as well as two lampposts, a flagpole with a yardarm, and a drinking fountain, all of which were added during reconstruction in 1999. Woodside Plaza is now part of the Greenstreets program, a joint project of Parks and the Department of Transportation begun in 1986 and revived in 1994. Its goal is to convert paved street properties, such as triangles and malls, into green spaces."

It's not the most organized place on Earth but they do have dressing rooms and had a present attendant to assist you in getting one. I found a cute sweater that when I tried it on, felt like was made for me so I opted to get it. Little did I know that meant joining and endless line that swerved into narrow rows that if you suddenly changed your mind, you'd be trapped in. Also, I hope you don't object to children and families because I definitely saw quite a few of them here though none bothered me and I actually felt reassured that home training and good family values still happen since the family in front of me behaved respectfully, the parents were attentive and they seemed like a functional family that cared about one another. Those rows are far from boring since you'll see all kinds of items there. I opted to include a hairbrush since I needed one and you probably can't have too many of them. The line did move, I got my items checked out and ended up on my way. There is a changing room here in case you want to make sure that nicely priced down dress you like looks good. I always appreciate the shoe section, they always have my size. The bedding area is where it gets tricky. You can find a nice bed in a bag but it's always a king size. It's rare for an nyc apartment to have a king size bed in it so I'm guessing that's why kings are always there. They literally have so many sizes here, there's home goods, pet stuff and electronics. It's pretty much like every other marshals you'd go to. Just remember about that line I mentioned earlier, it's a killer especially when there isn't a lot of people at the reregister.
