I brought back a stapler i purched the day before. When it was opened, the spring jumped out we couldn't put it together. It was broken before it was opened. Because of their policy, no exchange or return, they wouldn't give me back the money. I asked why they sell broken goods in the first place. They are currently making profit on goods they sell broken and refuse to compensate. I was told there's nothing they could do and contact the company. I like shopping here as it has a few stores which I usually go to in the regular mall. Gap, La Vie En Rose, Guess, Aldo....the stuff is definitely way cheaper than in the mall. This is not the place to score high end designer goods, but it is good to get basic clothes. Yes, you can go to the outlets in the States, but the current exchange rate plus gas and driving time do not make it a good deal for such items. Plus this place is just a 5-10 minutes drive for me. Recent deals: $2 cotton basic underwear from La Vie En Rose (7 for $14). $20+ summer sandals from Guess and Aldo. Walmart is ok here, I go there for the washroom and McDonalds. Ssshhhhh.... Food wise, I love Naan Bites. It is very yummy Indian food. I come here for that too. Parking was so plentiful that I actually drove from section to section. Too lazy to walk in the heat. read more

For an outlet style mall close to the city, this is as good as it gets. They are slowly starting to get more stores and I hope they will continue to do so. You do however, need to dig through the racks. Most items weren't able to sell in the regular stores and that's how they ended up here. I have been here twice. Both times left a bit to be desired. Tonight was a real let down, to find out that on Mon & Tues, nearly every store closes at 6pm. The only thing open, that we went to, was Guess, Walmart & The Liquor Depot. On the other occasion we went there, I found that for the most part, the prices weren't any lower. I only came here in the first place because I was told that stock had been sent here from other stores] ( never did find the elusive items I was sent there for ) The La Senza "outlet" had barely any stock in it, and what was there was not on sale, except for a small section in the back corner. ( unlike the outlet in Edmonton where most of the store was clearance prices ) I don't think I will be returning anytime soon. read more

Nice giant strip mall in the middle of suburbia. There really isn't much else out here, other than the nearby casino complex. Parking is plentiful, as far as the eye can see. There are plenty of clothing stores, but usually I'm just here for the Walmart. The land to build this mall must've been quite cheap, since the complex is literally split in half in one direction by high voltage lines, and in the other direction by railroad tracks. From what it looks like, when there is a train going through, the N side the mall is completely cut off from the rest of the world. They better hope that a train doesn't break down in the middle of the crossing, or nobody is going home. read more

I live just in the border of new west and Burnaby, this location is only 5 minutes from me (depending on the Queensborough bridge traffic). Originally this place was my go to for Walmart, best buy... But now it's become some what of an "outlet mall" stores include Bench, AX, Guess, Mexx, Gap, Aldo, quiksilver, below the belt so on. If you' re looking for deals it's definitely cheaper than regular mall prices and I find it not as busy. I know most of us like to go down to the States for our cheap outlet shopping, this place hits the spot and i dont have to wait to cross the border and no limit!!! Somewhat of a weird layout, the walkways to different parts of the mall don't connect but otherwise it's not a bad place to shop for good deals. Happy shopping! read more

Lots of store selection. Good place to go shopping when it's not raining since it's an outdoor mall. If the same store is available at the US outlet, then by comparison, the prices would not be as attractive because the US outlet definitely has a higher markdown. But if you wanna hit La Chateau outlet or Mexx or don't wanna go all the way to US, then this outdoor mall is still worth checking out. It's much closer than driving across the border if you live near New Westminster area . Also it's got Wal-Mart and could be a closer choice than going to North Van's Wal-Mart. Overall, good variety of stores - shoes, baby clothes, clothes for men/women's, sportswear, beauty supply, lingerie, etc. Nice choice for families or men who like one-stop Christmas shopping. Most likely it would be less crowded than malls like Metrotown and much easier to find parking. read more

This Mall has a very odd layout for a place that is anchored by a Walmart with a range of US based retailers and some local based restaurant chains. I prefer outdoor malls because there are more walking opportunities to burn off energy between spending experiences. If you look closely the Mall has a walkway/bikeway the runs right through the center of the property. Don't worry the cars don't seem to notice people safely walking from store to store. Behind the Quicksilver Outlet there is a path to a dock with a with a nice view of the Frasier River.(see photo) read more

Was shopping at the new stores in Queensborough the other day and they were amazing.. Started with a quick trip through the Starbucks Drive Thru (a must!) and grabbed a Pumpkin Latte - SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOD!!! Staff here are amazing and quick!! Then we headed to Bench and got a hoodie for only $40, and also Armani exchange where I saved over $100!! Way better than Metrotown, no crowds, lots of parking, drive thru Starbucks, and great deals!! Can't wait for the Walmart to open it's Supercentre and Lowes to open...!!! read more

Admit it, Vancouver. It's okay. We know this is an expensive city. With rent running roughshod over one's disposable income, it can possibly be all indie boutiques, organic foods, and quaint bistros ALL the time. That's why places like Queensborough Landing - a huge outlet mall out there in the middle of the Fraser where no one will see you save - exist. Oh yes, it's a little slice of guilty big-box shopping heaven. Outlets include Guess, Mexx, Roots, Tommy Hilfiger, and Aldo. There's also a Best Buy, Home Outfitters, Petcetera, and way off in the distance, a Wal-Mart. A few indie stores are sprinkled in for good measure, such as the excellent Tropicana grocery. There is loads of parking here at any time of day. The nice thing too is how well-connected this place is to the bike and transit network. If you're coming by bike, you can take it on the SkyTrain to 22nd Street Station, ride it over the bike/pedi overpass to the Queensborough Bridge, and then follow the bike lanes that run through the centre of the mall. Then fill those panniers! I won't tell. read more

I love this place. This is my go to location for office attire. I love the fresh air, the deals and selection. I can't imagine Queensborough Landing is very accessible by transit though. However, if you arrive at around 10am, you will practically have the place to yourself. Too bad the Best Buy is gone. I used to park my husband there. It kept him busy while I shopped. Now he just sits in the car and reads. It sort of kills the mood! Bring back Best Buy or some "guy" distracting place and I'll give QL a 5 out of 5. Until then, it's only a 4 from me. read more

What with hard times in the economy and a $1/L for fuel I am happy to have a local outlet mall. They have a great range of outlet shoppes like LeChateau, Quicksilver, and DC to name a few, plus they have a Extreme Pita, Tora Sushi, Marble Slab, and Starbucks to keep your hunger at bay while you explore the shoppes. Also present is the WalMart and BestBuy for big box stores. Also to note is the close proximity of the Starlight Casino... in case you need to recoup some of your shopping dollars (well, you can try to). read more

Not friendly for transit options and pedestrians. Once you figure out your stop you are basically soon walking along the side of a busy highway/underpass. Walk/Don't Walk signs are in places that don't make sense and in one case, I waited with several other people for the light to change while traffic moved in all directions 3 times. Yes, the walk signal button was pressed. Just baffling. That part of the rant over, as other reviewers have mentioned, shopping at Walmart can cause conflicting emotions. Well, I walked in, then directly walked out. I just couldn't do it. I wandered through the various stores across the street, but was not impressed by the quality or the prices. The styles were kind of boring. (at least to my taste) No offense to those of you who find stuff they like there, just not my style. Came here by chance on a Saturday and was thrilled!! The mall wasn't very busy at all and so we parked over by Home Outfitters and headed off. Love the selection of stores and oddly found it much better than hitting outlet stores in the states. My friend and I left with full bags and were very pleased. My only reason for knocking off a star is that we were starving after our third store and there was nothing in that area of the mall for food. As we drove out, the Starbucks etc were there, but we were about ready to eat our arms. Food mixed in with stores is never a bad idea! Especially when that's a main shopping area. read more

This is one of the better outdoor malls I have been too. They have a great selection of stores here. Banana Republic, Quicksilver, Gap, BCBG, Garage, Children's Place, Etc. I love going here when it's not super crazy or when a sale starts. It's really great! I had no idea there was an outlet mall just half an hour outside of Vancouver. I have been to the Seattle Outlets before, and honestly, I would rather go to the New West outlet mall because it has most of the same stores, and their prices were pretty amazing. I went to the BCBG outlet and found this dress I had my eye on last season. The dress was originally $456, and it was on sale for $95. I was beyond pumped! My friend and I also went to Sirens, Spring Shoes, Dynamite, and Banana Republic, and there were so many cute things. We indulged in a few things that weren't on our list just because the deals were too good to pass up. The stores were open until 9 pm so we had plenty of time to head there after work and browse all the different stores. Next time I'm going to check out the Quiksilver and Aldo outlets because we didn't get a chance. Plus, there's lots of good food around. We hit up Nando's Grill after our shopping, which was really delicious, and contemplated going to Marble Slap after but our bellies were too full. It was a really great evening spent and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for some deals. read more

First, the Walmart which is my dirty secret but hell, can't go wrong for some of the prices. There is alsoa Best Buy for all your electronic needs that you can't get at the Walmart. I am a fan of the Ricki's as they always have something in my size that I can wear to the office as well as on a saturday afternoon. There's Armani Exchange and BCBG Max Azria here for dirt cheap prices. Aldo, Gap Factory, Bootlegger, Dynamite, Mexx, Home Outfitters- just a few of my top faves. Not as good as the premium outlet in the States, but for expensive British Columbia pricing, it's fairly affordable. I just find the location inconvenient as there is no easy access to public transit. However, I like the idea that they have Starbucks and food establishments as well for the hubby to kill his precious time while I go crazy digging in the racks! read more

This mall is great! As said in another post, there are hardly any crowds unlike Metrotown. When they have sales, they aren't just trying to attract customers, they have great sales at each store. It's especially a great place if you are and in and out kind of shopper like me. read more

The Walmart in Queensborough located in Queensborough NEW WESTMINSTER has a bad employee named Jai. She gives free bags to members of her community. She hawk-eyes customers from other Asian descent but favors the Caucasians. She pretends she likes babies. She yells and actually told my aunt that she does not care if Walmart management learns of the way she performs her job. When told the manager will hear about her behavior, she said she doesn't fucking care about the manager. Is that the language and respectful behavior of a Walmart employee? She has very poor customer services, rude, lecturing people on how to run the self-check outs. This woman is also a member of the dominant ethnic group lurking in Walmart. This employee should be taken off the shelves and put somewhere else. She's bossy, condescending and a a hypocrite. While she gives free bees to some of her "relatives", she's an asshole to the rest. She gives Walmart a bad name. As Walmart credit card holder, I have enough self-pride not to shop at Walmart because Jai humiliates customers. Fire her or take her off where she works. The rest of these Queensboroigh Walmart are great, superb. But Jai makes me think twice before shopping at Walmart. After all, Superstore is a lot cheaper and with quality products. read more

However, if you want a good place to shop for all the name brands that would be cheaper than Robson St., this is a good place. I particularly enjoyed Mexx and Bench. BCBG Outlet at Queensborough Landing - Beware of final sale I was careless. Came here today to buy a dress to go to a wedding. The price on the tag said it was for 39 marked down from 81. I bought it. I didn't notice the price wasnt right until I left the store. They charged me 49 for the dress when clearly the markdown price said 39. I came back 2 minutes later and ask them about it. Well it was no refund except store credit. I do not want store credit when it's not my fault. The staff wrote the 4 like a 3. Also,they said it's for $49 because there are no $39 dress. How the hell would I know!!! So many stuffs were marked down. So beware. Check the price when they scan in the system before paying. And sale are final once you give them your credit card. It's company policy that store exchange only but the manager won't give me her name so that I can contact head office about it. I guess she is the manager?? It's company policy so why won't you give me your name. No one takes responsibility. Price is not that cheap, cheaper to go down to the seattle outlet. Terrible if you travel by bicycle. On Sunday we rode to Queensborough to do a little shopping and have some lunch. There was nowhere to safely lock our bikes. Instead of wandering the mall as we had planned, we ate a quick lunch and shopped at two stores. One of us staying with the bikes, while the other went in to make a quick purchases. We won't be back to Queensborough for our Sunday peddle and shop adventures. read more

I enjoy that there is one stop for many, many things such as Carter's, Gap, Walmart, Timmy's and that you can discover new shops just from walking from one store to the next destination. But I don't enjoy that there is so much walking from one store to the next when in the rain or cold. It's a huge complex, so its best to map out which stores you want to hit on that particular trip and just come back and do the other stores at a later time. My son will only last an hour at most. But if you have lots of time, you could spend the whole day.....I probably could in my 20s! read more
