Wikipedia I'm glad I checked Wikipedia and not the Urban Dictionary for the definition of "Pupusa." El Rinconcito, which translates to " the little corner", is a quintessential hole in the wall a few steps away from downtown Sugar Hill. It serves up very traditional Central American dishes such as Honduran pupusas and baleadas as well as authentic Mexican tacos, tortas, and burritos. Not fancy, but more festive, with various Latin American flags hanging over the kitchen and counter, the restaurant is a great break from the ordinary. While you won't find a margarita here, you will find great food at great prices. Everything is cooked fresh to order, served up hot, and you won't leave hungry. Most items are around $4 with meals around $12. Service is friendly, and it helps if you speak Spanish, but large signs with pictures, descriptions and prices line the counter, make it easy to order and get past the language barrier. They will definitely keep getting my pesos.

Mi gente Venezolana--- EPA is back with Stephanie Viloria as the Head Chef after receiving professional status & training in Spain. Bringing the new 'Haute Cuisine' add-on to its original name. 100 Sanitation score! Smaller than original location but the rebranding and nee curated space reflects elevated quality of food, service, and overall ambiance. Clean + equipped restrooms (for women). Excited to see how the music area is utilized during events! It's located inside a gas station, which actually makes it kind of cool -- they also sell a bunch of Venezuelan snacks and groceries there, though most of them are overpriced too. Still, it's super convenient since it's close to my house. Right next to Quesitos there's a small bakery that sells Venezuelan desserts like tres leches and brazo gitano, so you can really get all your cravings in one stop. The service today was amazing. A Mexican guy helped us and his attention was 10/10 -- super polite, friendly, and fast. That honestly stood out to me because sometimes service at Venezuelan restaurants can be hit or miss, but he did a great job. Just to clarify, I'm talking specifically about the Quesitos Express location on 3270 Steve Reynolds Boulevard in Duluth, Georgia. I couldn't find it here on Yelp, so I'm leaving my review under this one since it's the same company. Everything I mentioned (and the photo I'm adding) is from that location. Overall, Quesitos is a great spot for Venezuelan comfort food if you don't mind paying a little extra.

The Reina Pepiada was good, flavorful, and the arepa had a nice crunch on the outside. But the Pabellon arepa was the standout. The plantains were caramelized nicely and had a crispy exterior. The amount of cheese was generous and gave that extra savory flavor. The beans and meat were seasoned nicely. I will definitely return for this one! They're open until 10pm which is great for late night meals and way better for you than fast food joints. Keep in mind this is inside the Circle K gas station so there is no signage for the restaurant, you have to walk into the gas station and the order kiosk is on the left side next to the register. Everyone at El Mana is a volunteer, with proceeds going to the construction of a church. Eat Pupusas, do good! The restaurant is beautifully decorated with little details representing El Salvador. I think our server is also the cook that makes the pupusas so you can tell the food is authentic. I would say the ambiance is not as modern and the lighting is somewhat dim inside. Overall, I'll keep coming here whenever I miss a food from my parent's home!
