While my review itself is a bit late, I do think about this place often because of how good the food was. I haven't had pepitos before, but this made an amazing introduction for me! From the outside, it looked like the rest of the plaza and didn't stand out much. Stepping in, it was surprisingly pretty cool and a bit modern with the lighting and walls. It was clean too. I would recommend getting a pepitos over the burger, though both are great. It's just easier to put away the rest for later because of how filling eating just half is. The fries were crispy and good for trying out all the sauces. And the sauces? Love the variety. The bacon sauce truly tastes like bacon and has bits of it in it. Corn is probably made with sweet corn, and it was creamy. Love the garlic. The honey mustard was good too. Cheese confuses me. It wasn't a cheese flavor I am more familiar with, and it wasn't like the cheese used in the meal. I didn't dislike it, but I also did mix sauces together, and I liked it better once mixed with something else. Garlic still is just great overall though. We ended with churros, which were pretty good. They drizzle lots of chocolate, caramel, and condensed milk over them, and while I felt guilty after eating so much food, I loved every moment. They give quite a bit, and we couldn't finish them all. Great dessert for sharing, and another draw to this place if you don't want a full meal, though I highly recommend getting food as well.

Pardon my French, but... Holy sh*t!…read more I was craving Venezuelan food... and a burger... so I decided to combine the cravings. Normally, when I get Venezuelan food, I'm too drawn to the arepas, empanadas, and cachapas to get something like a burger. I've seen several Venezuelan restaurants with burger options I've wanted to try, but like I said, normally, I go traditional. However, today was the day I decided to finally do it! I opened up UberEats and... what is that? A Teque Burger? Could it be??? Yes! The "bun" is tequeños! Immediately, I knew I had to order one of these. I went with no bacon today and chose cheese sauce as well as house sauce. The description didn't say whether or not it came with fries, so when I saw the temptingly priced $2.99 french fry option, I threw them in my cart. I can't speak on ambiance because I ordered UberEats, but service was quick to pack up my order. My food arrived hot and fresh, just minutes after I made it home from the gym! Perfect. The verdict? As you can tell by the excitement of my review: a huge success! The Teque Burger was grilled to perfection. The tequeno bun was mind blowing. The whole thing was absolutely delicious. I cut my burger in half to save the other half for later. As I ate my burger and devoured the meat, there was still tequeño bun overhang for me to dip into the sauces. They gave me ample garlic sauces which was yummy (always one of my favorites), as well as an orange sauce that I couldn't quite place whether it was house sauce, cheese sauce (it didn't taste like cheese), or their "special ketchup sauce" (is this the same as house sauce? Or is house sauce the garlic sauce? Or is it its own thing? So many questions!). Whatever it was was great. The fries were delicious too! Can't wait to try the pepitos next! I'll be bringing my boyfriend in soon (he's from Venezuela), but he may only be able to eat fries because he doesn't eat meat. Hopefully you get some vegetarian or seafood options in soon... or perhaps I missed them. ¡Muchas gracias!

I was really impressed by the food presentation because a rice pyramid was not on the books this day but trust me when I say I wasn't mad at it and we enjoyed the taste even more! The arepa was out of this world. Just what I asked for! I love the sauce options. So good Must return and get it again I just didn't enjoy the dessert. Something about hot guava sauce wasn't my thing.

I've driven past Aprea Mia more times than I can count, always telling myself, "I'll try it one…read moreday." Well, that day finally came, and now I'm wondering why I waited so long. Before we get to the food, let's talk about the parking because it's an experience all by itself. . The restaurant shares a tiny lot with several neighboring businesses, and most of the spaces appear to be reserved. If the lot is full, there's street parking behind the restaurant, but be prepared for a short walk. I couldn't find any spaces designated for Aprea Mia, so I crossed my fingers, grabbed an empty spot, and made a quick dash inside for my pickup. I stopped by for lunch on a Saturday looking for something fresh and light. The menu made that harder than expected because so many dishes sounded tempting. I eventually settled on the Organic Vegetables of the Day with grilled wild shrimp. My online order was ready when I arrived, and the friendly staff had me in and out in no time. The restaurant had a bright, vibrant atmosphere, and both the dining room and patio were bustling with diners. The vegetables were the star of the meal fresh, perfectly sautéed, and exactly what I was hoping for. The grilled shrimp, however, didn't taste grilled at all. They weren't bad, but I wouldn't order them again. At just over $25 for what amounted to a light lunch, the price also felt a little steep. That said, I really appreciate Aprea Mia's commitment to serving fresh, locally sourced, organic, and gluten-free ingredients. With so many other dishes on the menu that caught my eye, I'll definitely be back.

**This review is for their Gainesville location that opened not long ago…read more You know my love for Venezuelan food so the fact that Gainesville now has another Venezuelan food spot is a huge YES for me. They have a fun menu but my main go to is their pastelitos because they are hard to find. Call ahead like I did and get some pastelitos to go!! @don.arepacho is inside a Mobil gas station off Browns Bridge Rd in Gainesville. I've been back a few times and every items has been good, but be warned, if you order the VERGATARIA burger, make sure you're hungry AND have your stretchy pants on... that thing is NOT playing Their dining area isn't what I would call a full dine in set up, they have a few small tables in case you decide to eat there but it isn't a full DINE IN restaurant like the spot they have in Norcross. If you show up at any get together with pastelitos... everyone will love you, ask me how I know Get your order in and let me know if you can finish off that burger!!! Pictured here LA VERGATARIA - Venezuelans have always liked dressing up their burgers, so don't be surprised by this. You're gonna have to be comfortable with getting a little messy here Pastelitos - These are Venezuelan pastelitos, my favorite.
