We ordered the carne asada meal with plantains & black beans, bean pupusas, jalapeño pupusas, chicken tamale and child's baleada. The carne asada meal was enough for my son to eat and share some with my husband and younger son. I was even able to enjoy several plantains which were prepared perfectly. The pupusas were some of the best we have ever had. They were stuffed with a generous amount of filling and the pupusa dough was moist instead of dry like some places. The bean and cheese pupusa was our favorite but all flavors ordered were delicious. La Union Restaurant Pupuseria will be a regular dining spot for our family when in the area.
