At least your employees have enough decency to share the fact there was no order, and my doctor confirmed same AFTER I returned home and called them!! Unbelievable!! I have to agree with the other reviewers. This labcorp location has to be the worst in Atlanta. Customer service is awful.. the whole process stinks. You walk into a dirty waiting room, put your name in the computer, wait for a very unfriendly lab tech to come and get you, usually a good 20 to 30 minutes after your appointment time. There are many better places in Atlanta that have real customer service, clean facilities, and faster turnaround time. I will not be going back. read more

I have been going here for 6 months due to acutane and I personally love the staff. they are all very helpful and nice. they take your blood very gently so don't worry if you have to get your blood drawn. thank you labcorp. read more

Pretty mixed feelings on this labcorp locations. My first visit here was a good experience. It was quick in, so my biz, sign some papers and I was on my way. The lady working was really nice. But then there was my next visit which wasn't so great. The lady acted like I was some sort of criminal; she was more attentive than a TSA agent and not friendly at all. Wow worst run lab in history. I arrived and checked in a 10:40 for an 11:15 drug test. How long could it take. I told the desk that I had an appointment in 2 hours later. I waited until 12:15 and had not had a drug test yet. I had to leave with out getting the test. They had a sign over the desk that said if you have not been tested in 30 minutes come to the desk. So went to the desk every 30 minutes and they looked at me like i was the jerk. Stay away. Go to another branch. read more

I thought the entire experience was pleasant! The ladies were so nice upon arrival. I was nervous to be out because for the obvious, Covid-19, but I had to do a mandatory urine test for a new job. This place is terrible. The paperwork I got said no appointment needed but to call in advance - I did and no one answered so I headed over there. The waiting room is HOT and there are only like 6 chairs. You can opt for a Text when it's your turn so you can wait outside (which I did) but of course they texted me before I was ready and then told me to wait in the (also hot) hall if I didn't want to wait in a tiny crammed waiting room during Covid with 6 other people. I've been to this location twice for labs and I will continue going back there in the future!! Both times I had blood drawn, the techs were kind, friendly, quick and stuck me effortlessly. It was a pleasant surprise. The only drawbacks are: you have to pay for parking (couple bucks) and the waiting room is super small. It seems to be busier in the beginning of the week! I waited close to 2 hours for routine blood work. They are severely understaffed and 2 people are doing multiple jobs. They were very crowded as they were also doing drug testing. I was patient until close to 2 hours had passed and they told me that there were still 2 people ahead of me. I am diabetic and had not eaten in hours. It was my first time at this location and definitely my last. The employee did not understand why I was surprised that I had to wait this long! That in itself is a problem. read more

Waited over an hour to do a drug test. After 30 minutes you have to pay for parking. Multiple people that checked in after me were seen before me. There was poor social distancing. The waiting room was packed so was the hallway with people waiting. There were people without masks! Over it. read more

Rude staff. Real feeling that you are in their way. And dirty. No hand wash options in the bathroom---NO RUNNING WATER (literally) and three empty hand sanitizers. Blech. The woman who drew my blood was at the reception desk, in the waiting room and god knows where else---she did NOT change her gloves. I was very uncomfortable having her touch me but I did not speak up. I will not return to this location. I WILL speak up at the next location. I walked in to get a drug screening and the girl at the front desk did not want to help me whatsoever. There were eight people in the waiting room and only one back office staff person working. A few of us asked for water and they said they did not have anymore cups for me to have one. I was called back and the lady was very rude to me and completely nice to another girl who was getting a drug screening. I felt like I was a prisoner there and treated very poorly. I literally walked out of the office crying and will never go back. I ended up traveling 40 miles to a different location because of this. read more

If I could give a zero star I would. Horrible customer service, rude and horrible attitude. The lady at the front desk makes fun of everyone who walks in and cackles and laughs with the other ladies. They know everyone in the waiting area can hear them and hear them making fun of people, yet they continue. They made fun of a disabled man in the waiting room. Completely unprofessional. Waited 45 minutes for my blood to get drawn. Vial of blood was dropped on the floor afterwards. Still awaiting lab results and it has been over a week, never waited more than 2 days with any other lab. Very disappointing experience. read more

Literally got there and they said they didn't have any cups left for the employment drug testing. Why. All they do is tests with p*ss so why don't you have enough cups. Ridiculous. My health insurance company has a wellness program and each year we get points (redeemable for gift cards) and a discount on our premium for completing certain activities. One of these is a "biometric screening" for things like blood glucose, cholesterol, etc. So, I found this LabCorp location (which wasn't really all that close to my house but it was the best I could do) and signed up for an appointment. I arrived a few minutes early. Check-in was simple, I just scanned my driver's license and I was already in the system. Then I waited. It got to be a little past my appointment time but I know medical offices are like that and probably at about 8:50-8:55 (for an 8:45 appointment, so not too bad) I got called up to the window. They asked what I was there for and I told them. I had all the proper paperwork but they refused to even look at my insurance card, they just told me they couldn't do the tests (not even an employee wellness screening). I talked to two different employees and both of them flatly refused to work with me (according to my insurance company, they should have called the insurance company to discuss things but that was never offered and I was rather upset by this point so it didn't occur to me to suggest it right at that very moment). I left without getting any tests done. A 30-mile round trip drive and two hours out of my morning for nothing (well, I had a pounding headache after all of this, if that counts). The "drive safely" advice on my way out from the ladies at the desk rang hollow and insincere and honestly made me even angrier. False politeness is easy to detect and it isn't appreciated and it doesn't help defuse any situations. No one ever said "well, they sweetly told me to have a nice day so I'll just forget all this other bad stuff that happened." To top it all off, parking is paid only. read more

Pretty hard to rate a place that sticks you with needles, but if you have to have blood drawn for any reason, LABCORP at 995 Johnson Ferry Rd in Sandy Springs (right across from Children's Hospital) is the place to go...the sign-in system is very easy to use, the personnel are friendly...and best of all, proficient in blood-drawing (that's pretty important, right?) I've never had a good experience whenever I'm taking a drug test and I've taken many for my job because I am a nurse and did a lot of contract work. It's like they all hate their jobs and don't want to be there or that's how they act. This location didn't smile but they were not rude. Also, for the first time ever there was no wait. I made an appointment and I was in and out in 10 minutes at lunch time and for that, I am very happy. The location is in a standard office building but easy to locate. There is a paid parking lot but since I was out in 10 minutes, I didn't have to pay. Once you enter the building, it's on the 3rd floor suite 320. Once you get there, just follow their direction carefully. Don't move when they tell you not to move and you won't get yelled at. I recommend making an appointment on the website. read more

I've not written many reviews on Yelp but after my experience at this Labcorp I felt compelled to write one. The visit started out bad from the start. My printed sheet to get my labs said hours were 9-4. I got there at 137pm. The door was locked. I saw a little sign that said Lunch 1-2. Ok that's nice wish it would have been on my form so I wait. The door then gets unlocked. I was there for a pre employment drug screen. The front desk lady told me to "sign in". I did then stood there for further instructions held out my paperwork she looked at me very repugnant and said take a seat there are others who need to sign in. Ok, you could have said NICELY please sign in then take a seat. Instead you offered only looks and an attitude. I sat down. I asked her a question about a form and if I needed to fill it out she looked at me, IGNORED ME, then turned back around. I watched her then deal with a flow of folks to whom she was equally rude to. They called me back 22 mins later (yes I clocked it). The lady who was different from the receptionist said go around the corner and head straight. I did and stopped at the counter. There were THREE ladies there I'm not sure what they want me to do if I'm In the right place etc not one of them has even acknowledged me I stand there for 20 some seconds until I said is this where you want me ? The lady who lead me back said no right around the corner like I told you. I went around and stood there. The lady behind the counter still hadn't said hello. The receptionist was staring at me. I again had to speak up and ask what she wanted me to do. I said I kind of need some directions here. She apologized realizing they were in the wrong. Then proceeded to give me some directions. I gave them my specimen and again silence as I'm holding this cup of pee. I again had to ask where I could put my specimen. I saw papers over the counter I had to ask what I needed to sign or do. She answered to sign this form I signed it then asked about the others she said ohh yes those as well. I signed the papers and left. I could not believe how they treated me as a "patient". As a provider who orders labs for my patients and sees folks on a daily basis for their ailments I can't imagine treating any of my patients like they treated me. Not only will I never go to this labcorp location again I as a provider will also never send any of my patients there ever again! read more

Horrible customer service. I went to the lab with a valid order from my doctor for a specific blood test, one that I've had done at LabCorp (different location) 2-3 times before over the last 6 months. They refused to do the test because the order did not include the LabCorp-specific test code. I asked the woman at the window why she couldn't look it up herself and she insisted that the doctor has to write it down. I spoke with the manager on duty and was told the same thing. My doctor's office was closed for the day, so I called LabCorp customer service and the woman apologized, but said that she cannot override the location manager. This is an idiotic policy. I have also had bad experiences at the North Decatur location. I rushed over to a nearby Quest Diagnostics Lab and they couldn't have been nicer--even though it was almost closing time, they said it was no problem to do the test. What a contrast. I will be using Quest going forward. Had Quest not been so accommodating, I would have had to take more time off from work. It's bad enough I had to pay for parking twice and waste an hour of my time. Shame on you LabCorp. read more

I have had 3 blood withdraws with 3 different ladies in the last year. at the location on Johnson Ferry Road, I have had the best experiences ever on having blood done. I have had a number of bad experiences in the past years, and dread having blood work done. Couldn't have had a better experience from this location. read more
