I came to Quest today to get blood drawn for an allergy test. Usually, it's check-in and wait for…read more30 minutes before being seen at OTHER places, but not here! I checked in with a text message and they also have a kiosk inside where you can check-in if you don't have the text message. Phlebotomy Technician Emma came out to greet me within 1-2 minutes of my arrival. She was kind, courteous, and most-importantly- knowledgeable. She had me enter the examination room and have a seat, ran my information and confirmed it all with me, then she asked "are you ready?" I responded, "I don't know. I'm not really sure what we're doing. This will be my first time doing this kind of thing." She explained everything to me and let me know she was going to draw blood. Immediately, I let Emma know that each time I've ever had blood drawn, I have always passed out. Instead of dismissing this, she asked if I would prefer a lying down position during the procedure. I told her, "yes, because I don't want you to have to catch me". We both chuckled, then she explained that they don't catch people here. She showed me to a reclining chair and had me lay down with an ice pack behind my neck. She said the ice pack helps. She also continued conversing with me as we went about the procedure and we talked about how my first time having blood drawn I ended up face-first in a trash can because no one knew it was going to happen and how most of the people that pass out due to blood draws in this office are male. I thought that was really interesting! She also noted that most of the time, the ones that DON'T say anything until afterwards are men who are tattooed up! We both surmised that it must be because they're embarrassed to say anything - especially since this office is mostly comprised of women. Nevertheless, she had me transition slowly to standing up. She checked in with me, watched my color, and made sure I was feeling before sending me on my way. PT Emma was top-notch in my opinion! My visit here was the first time a medical professional took me at my word and even believed me- taking steps to help me not have to pass out! If I could give this office 10 stars, I would! 10/10 service!

Emma and Antoine were the ones who took care of me and they did a fabulous job. It was the most painless draw I have ever had and they were seriously so kind. I told them how anxious I was and they made me feel so comfortable and that I was not crazy. So thankful for a good experience and won't be going anywhere else now.

Her type of care is top notch! In an hour I was seen and done. In an hour!! Which actually didn't feel like an hour. Have to pay for parking. Free up to 30 mins FYI. Clean office! This is my first time visit, had to go downstairs to get blood drawn, wasn't a success. Wasn't feeling the vibe anyway. Went back upstairs, Melinda, she drew my blood so quickly, I didn't have time to pass out! Lol. Overall great experience!!

I am young and used to not being listened to, but this visit took it to the worst possible level. Dr. Mabile has ignored my pain on multiple visits before this since 2022 and never provided any medication or numbing, but what I experienced with Dr. Illston can only be described as casual cruelty. She first left me in the room for over 45 minutes, then came in and out repeatedly, leaving for long periods. She also refused to re-prescribe me my birth control, which cost about $2.00 with insurance, even after I asked. She instead prescribed me Slynd (which they seem to be pushing lately), which costs over $200 even with insurance. During the pap smear "attempt," I was given no pain relief, and she ignored my discomfort and pain and tried to tell me that a tampon and speculum were the same size; therefore, this should be no problem. She also inquired about my sexual activity and virginity status, then recommended penetrative sex as a way to get used to the pain. Needless to say, her comments were extremely inappropriate and rude, bordering on discriminatory language. I would not recommend this practice to any woman of color or queer person, as they are not affirming or understanding in the slightest. Dr. Illston, in particular, should be fired. For such a medically invasive field, one would hope they'd be better, but practice does not care about you or your feelings.
