I came in around 7:30 AM as a walk-in. Even though there were several people already waiting, the check-in kiosk scheduled me for a 7:50 appointment. I received a text at 7:45 letting me know they were ready--super efficient! The phlebotomist was excellent. She was so skilled that I didn't feel a thing during the blood draw. My first time at this location. Thr location in North Babylon, NY pops up on Google but it's permanently closed. This Quest Diagnostics office is located within an office building. Although system shows booked for that day, if you can get there at 6:30 AM you may be able to see someone which was in my case. Checked in at the kiosk and saw someone right away (literally waited 2 minutes). Although the phlebotomist was completely inadequate with learning hoe to work the computer (I sat there 30 minutes) and had to ask 2-3 people on hoe to enter my information into the system, blood drawing took 1 minute and I was out of there. All in all, great experience, staff was friendly and professional and facility was clean. Would recommend if you're in the area. Make sure you bring your prescription to the appointment! Heard a patient didn't bring one and they won't keep in the system longer than a week. read more

Quest website was down for Quest Lab 500 Main Street, Babylon, suite 202-203. I could not create an appointment for labs the phlebotomist on site was very rude & would not take walk ins. worse place to go to. they ended up doing the wrong blood test. When I went back and told them I waited 1 1/2 hours to be seen for them to do the right test and they were very rude. I called corporate office to complain and they were just as rude and told me I needed to wait like everyone else. I have used blood corp in the past and never had a problem. The reason I went to Quest was that my medical doctor said that the blood tests populate his computer automatically. I will never go to Quest again. read more

I've had mostly good experiences here. The first time I went my blood was exposed to oxygen abs I had to redo the entire thing so that was unpleasant and inconvenient but they were very apologetic and made sure I was seen asap when I returned. Although skeptical after that I'm a firm believer in second chances and now third-returned yesterday and I was in and out in no time, but I highly suggest you make an appointment given current circumstances and def don't go there with COVID symptoms - I was told someone did that abs they had to shut down more than once (come on people!). If you don't make an appointment the wait is typically 20minutes depending on the hour-and you can wait in your car if you feel more comfortable which is nice. read more

Normally Northwell Health is always my go to, but my doctor requested labs from Quest. The staff is very nice, no complaints there but quest has to get their act together at this location. Not only are they way understaffed but there is no system for walk in appointments. I mean come on, if you see that there is a lot of walk in why not hire another phlebotomist to take care of walk ins as they come, especially on a busy day like Saturday. With the hours of operation from 6:30-2:30 during the week where 95% of people actually work, how can you expect for people to come in and get blood work done. Otherwise this is a nice place with very nice people working, but management has to figure out how to make this work because waiting for 3 hours on Saturday is not fun at all. Just a waste of time! Very nasty. 1st time I went as a walk-in. I asked for an estimated wait time and was told she couldn't give one. I said "you can't give me an idea as to how long?". She said "No". I left. The 2nd time I made an appointment. When I got there I was told that my appointment was at Massapequa Pk. I know I didn't pick that location. I asked the same nurse "What do I have to do? Do I have to check-in here?" The same nasty nurse said "No. You'll have to go there". They had one upcoming appointment and no one in the waiting room and 50 minutes before they closed. read more

The billing department is the worse. Multiple calls. Have 2 insurances and for some unknown reason they will not bill the 2nd. I've called them multiple times about it. Keep getting bills and then sent to collections. Going to lab corp from now on. read more

I just wanted to add to my one star review which would have been zero stars if that was an option. At the advice of my wonderful doctor I went to the lab at Good Samaritan hospital in West Islip. No appointment necessary and was in and out in 30 minutes. The staff was wonderful and I recommend you try them. read more

Went to 500 montauk hwy, babylon, ny. Got there at appt. Time when they opened 630am. Employee showed up, door was locked and she had to call a fellow employee to find out who had the key to open and who was supposed to be opening the office. NOT the first time this happened! Turned out because nobody was there with a key....the earliest time they could open was 8am, so i went to the location in Massapequa Park, NY 15 Min away and signed in. Now 8:21am and still waiting to be seen. They only have one person doing testing for all patients currently here. Because of that the waiting time length keeps getting longer. Now just extended to 68 minutes. I left due to long wait. Babylon staff is always nice when I go first thing in morning and it is clean. Lack of communication is unacceptable!! read more

Building is nicely kept, waiting room is spacious, but seats can be limited on a busy day. I had the misfortune of being a walk-in on a day that school is closed. I suggest checking the quest website for wait times or better yet, schedule an appt. I like the kiosk check-in and queue on the tv, but noticed it was a bit inconvenient not having a "receptionist" of some variety. When people had questions, they had to wait for a phlebotomist to be available. This feature is also not accommodating to elderly patients or patients with impaired vision. The associate that attended to me had "rbf" and their procedure for what I was there for was poorly communicated. Despite it's convenience to work, I will not likely return to this draw station. read more

So I rushed to this lab that my daughters Doctor told me was still opened because my daughter is only home from college for the weekend due to her being really sick. As I entered the Quest Lab the woman in the back was cursing so loud she didn't even realize people had entered the waiting room. She finally came out and was so hostile talking aggressive saying that we needed an appointment to be seen which I politely said I did not know due to this being my first time at this lab. She proceeded to be so aggressive . IF YOU DO NOT HAVE MANNERS ON HOW TO COMMUNICATE WITH PEOPLE ESPECIALLY A REALLY SICK YOUNG PATIENT GO PAY FOR A LESSON ON HOW TOO!!!!! WORST PLACE EVER !!!! I waited 2 hourssssss to get my blood taken and then when they were slow as ever woman working was nasty and mean to everyone waiting and even yelled at an elderly couple in there 80s bc they asked how much longer. I couldn't believe the wait time. I've been to quest in babylon and commack and this one is HORRIBLE!!!!! Quest diagnostics really should fire them and hire new workers. Even after i finally was up, the woman didn't even understand what some of the codes were and didn't give me a full blood work as my dr said it was self explanatory and she was uneducated and didn't do the full test. I went here on Friday. There was only one woman working who really cared about her patients. I felt nothing when getting my blood drawn because she did such a great job. I gave 4 stars only because the facility was understaffed. The woman working had patients waiting near closing time and she most likely had to stay well beyond close time to take each one (I wasn't there but I assume so). read more
