The lab is not marked outside or on any signs, you want to go into the Medford medical center, and you have to take the elevator not the stairs into a waiting area for several different offices the quest labs one is at the back through a doorway. They do not have a person for check in, only kiosks and those seem to not work well (I had to restart several times because it just didn't like my phone number and wouldn't accept it until the third try) also booking online is difficult or impossible through Fullscript, so I had to get on a standby list and only had to wait 20 minutes. My doctor sent orders for my tests multiple times - electronically and through fax, but apparently Quest Diagnostics never received any of those orders. We were made to wait for many hours and the doctor had to go through so many hoops to finally have my samples taken. As if this wasn't bad enough, it has already been 5 days and my test results are still not available. Customer service is a complete nightmare - I was put on hold for more than two hours and then gave up. No one picks up the phone. Customer service chat is useless as they cannot answer any questions and keeps asking me to call. What's the point in calling when I am expected to stay on the phone all day to simply speak to a rep? This is utterly unacceptable. read more

This review is mainly for the location on Route 101 in Amherst, NH but the Bedford location isn't perfect, either. In fairness, Quest is half the cost of having testing done at a hospital. The people are pleasant enough. But recently the Amherst location moved to an adjacent building and now requires appointments (no walk-in opportunities, unless you want to wait as a "standby" for three hours and hope they get to you). As a regular customer, an email to the extent of "we have moved and now you need an appointment" would have been nice. Also, pretty much every time I have gone to either the Bedford or Amherst location, the paperwork either isn't there (it all has to faxed, which is absurd in today's day and age) or they lost it. Net, net: I then need to go back another day, which is a huge waste of time. Quest, you have worn me out. I'm simply going to pay more and have my bloodwork done at the hospital. It will cost more, but it will be done right (the first time) with no hassle. read more

Good luck finding this place. You can tell from the parking lot sign what building it is, but they can't be bothered to put up any signs. I'm applying for insurance and the company I am doing business with has contracted with a quest diagnostic company to collect labs. They seem to be very disorganized with their records, didn't have access to the sensitive information I provided to the company and then were misinformed about collection sites near me. After trying to have a home visit scheduled the person I was supposed to contact never called me back. I called the company back several times and after several days they finally called back and there was dead air on the other end. I'm very frustrated having to deal with them. I just want my insurance policy. read more

My provider has allegedly sent my lab order two days in a row and each time I went to Quest they said they never received the order. After the first time, I called to confirm whether or not the order went through and was funneled into a nightmare of a recording that greets everyone when you call. Of course it does not give an option to speak with a human being to confirm that the order was received. They even go so far as to say on the greeting that if your provider has said they sent the order there is no need to call to confirm. Condescending statement if there ever was one. If I could confirm I wouldn't have wasted approximately 3 hours of my time this week. The error may have been on my providers end, I don't know and can't get an answer from anyone on either end. The fact that Quest denies the customer the ability to simply call to confirm receipt of an order to simply avoid wasting a lot of time is the reason for this review and they Need to take another look at how their customers are being served. read more
