After he was done, he asked me what i wanted. I told him my husband need his blood drawn. He asked for my husbands date of birth and name and then told him to go sit and wait. I tried to explain to him that my husband was hard of hearing and he got nasty with me. I asked that he explain to the lab tech to speak loudly when she came out to call him. This old man told me "Oh he will hear her all right. She got a loud voice" He was really rude.

The first thing that impressed me was the separate waiting rooms - one for sick kids and one for well kids - genius! The front line staff has always been welcoming, courteous and helpful. The nurses are very kid-friendly and incredibly knowledgeable! I have called the nurse line so many times over the years and feel like I have always received professional and reliable counsel, wether it is to bring my kids in to be seen (we are almost always able to get in same day which is a HUGE plus!) or a recommendation to try an OTC medicine first (appreciate not dragging my kid in if it's not necessary!!), or even an assurance that I was managing a sickness appropriately. I even appreciate the billing staff who, because of inadequate insurance for a time and a very sick child, I got to know early on, always handled our situation with kindness and compassion! All of this is, IMHO, exceptional compared to our previous experiences with two other practices, but, of course, wouldn't even matter if the doctors weren't absolutely top-notch medical professionals! Their expertise and dedication, apparent to me in every interaction, is what continues to make me confident in recommending Northeast Pediatric, and also why they are getting all five stars! (Shout out to Dr. Earles and Dr. Antone, who are the doctors we usually see). No practice is perfect, so as for negatives, sometimes the wait time to see the doctor can be a little long, especially if you've called for a same day appointment and they are fitting you in, but in talking to other moms and my own experiences, this is a universal issue with every medical practice wether it's pediatric, adult or specialty. And no, I'm not related to anyone there or getting paid for this review!. I just felt after sixteen years that it was time to share my experience which, thankfully, has been really great!

Now my prescription is overdue and they've refused to fill it for the last 3 days because my doctor is on vacation. The employees have also been consistently unhelpful and rude. My wife's doctor said she needed to get some X-Rays related to her injury after a recent fall…read more Within the Henry Ford Hospital System, this is the closest location. We arrived just after 7pm and went through lobby check in where they checked our temperatures and cleared us to proceed to the Radiology. That is where we had to answer questions and present her insurance cards. She called to verify that Radiology was still open and was told yes, until 8pm. Then we were directed where to go and wait to be called in. As with previous visits here to other departments, everyone was friendly, professional, and made us feel welcomed. It was very quiet throughout the facilities, maybe because it was after 7pm and not too many people came in for any treatments. Even though it was not busy, we still waited over 35 minutes before my wife was rolled into the X-Ray room and had her X-Ray taken. We found out that there was a miscommunication problem and our check in hadn't been relayed to the X-Ray tech who was getting ready to close. But she was able to set up the equipment and take care of the tests we needed. Then, since my wife was a good girl, we went for ice cream.
